Most good humor is observation based. Just make comments on things she does, says, wears, etc. Sarcasm is always a plus, don't be afraid to tease and poke fun. Just be yourself.

making women laugh, my specialty (I'm basically a perfect 10 at being funny)... I used to be introverted as fuck until I was 14 because I was afraid of speaking out, then I stopped giving a fuck and said whatever came to my mind. (I'm 22 now) and can make people laugh whenever I want 99.9% of the time... the trick is to stop filtering your mind and say whatever the fuck you want, over time it just becomes a reflex and you'll naturally get the confidence and calibration down, but it takes a long time to become naturally funny to all people in all situations (its extremely similar to getting good at pickup)

Make jokes you find funny, I have a really offensive sense of humour and I just say whatever the fuck I want. Sure it bombs like crazy sometimes, and sure I adapt sometimes, but the important thing is that you think it's funny and they will too.

The best way to be genuinely funny is to escape from the mindset that you're trying to say something funny in order to entertain someone else. You obviously have your own unique sense of humor, just don't filter yourself. Say what you want because you know that everything you have to say is awesome. Entertaining self + honest expression = attraction.

Also, realize that funny doesn't always = jokes. Your mannerisms, quips, body language and tone can all be funny

What really works for me is something I started calling "sarcastic admonishment". It's basically a fancy name for making fun of girls. I'm not kidding about this, girls LOVE to be made fun of if it's lighthearted. I also use it to brag on myself in response to certain things girls say. If you've ever read something in italics and changed the tone of voice in your mind when you read it, thats the voice you want to use when speaking. One last thing, I found it's really effective to use the girls name when doing this.

I have etiquette, Girl A, obviously you don't have much class... (roll eyes for effect)

im finding lately that funny has more to do with how you say it. if you say something and expect people to laugh, more often than not they will, whether its funny or not.

Something no-one is mentioning yet is make up some small unusual fact that comes up into a ridiculous funny scenario, with a bit of acting thrown in.

So if she says "my landlady always locks all the doors in the house at night", your story can be "so what if you really have to go to the bathroom? do you scratch at the door and say 'oh, please, please, please, let me go pee!'". That sort of thing. Your 4chan mind should come in great for this.

Sounds like you just think that most people won't appreciate your sense of humour so you censor it. I struggled with this for a while, and the key with it is learning where the line is between. "Oh my god I can't believe he said that! hahaha!" and "Oh my god I can't believe he said that. What the fuck.."

What the fuck is the point of being funny anyway? As someone who is "naturally funny," it's held me back plenty of times.

Right now you think if you were funny, you'd have it made. Not true. Humor is an asset but so are a million other things.

Not to mention girls laugh so easily you don't even need to worry about being funny to "be funny."

Just be secure about yourself.

Humour is kind of easy, it's all about your confidence and how comfortable you are with it. You don't need to be especially witty or intelligent to be funny or make people laugh. The trick is to use humour to entertain yourself. You aren't a comedian, you aren't there to make other people laugh so that they like you, you're there to have a good time or to have a fun conversation. You can show it in different ways. Roleplaying is a pretty big thing in comedy. People put on exaggerated personalities for comic effect, and it works a lot of the time, I'm not such a big fan of it though when it comes to ordinary conversations. Everything you say in an attempt to be funny should be to entertain yourself. A lot of people here say you shouldn't laugh at your own jokes. That's only true if it's a nervous/seeking approval laugh. Laughing at your own jokes isn't necessarily a bad thing providing that you genuinely find it funny. I'm pretty easily self-amused so have a tendency to tell a joke without even thinking about it and then burst out laughing. If it's natural, do it. That's the key thing with comedy... you have to be comfortable, whether you're putting on a kind of act or not.

Check this guy out. The stuff he's saying isn't actually very funny (in my opinion) but he's clearly just having a great time entertaining himself and people respond well to it. The guy's laughing harder at his own jokes than most of the audience but it's not a bad thing because he's perfectly comfortable with it.

comics all steal jokes from each other. if not full on jokes then, the same type of humor or way of thinking. LCK stole his humor from carlin. model ur humor from comics u like. watch a lot of standup. subconsciously ur brain will make use of these jokes u hear in ur own real life situations. timing and delivery and confidence and engaging your audience are things u should develop consciously and subconsciously through trial and error

No, it does not work as often as "funny" because you cannot cover mistakes as well and other reasons. But the same pickup does not work for EVERYONE. Just do it with a strong enough frame. Heck, if apocalypse openers can work...
