It seems like it's just a tactic to funnel reddit users to his company, and to generate marketing content.

It also detracts from the point of reddit, which is to create conversation.

Love your videos! I've been a fan for a few years.

I'm in good shape and been told am very good looking, but sometimes am painfully socially awkward. I drink a lot when I go out and that helps me immensely, but I want to be able to just be me and get beautiful women.

I feel like women get freaked out around me because I should be a confident pimp, but am nothing of the sort.

I went to the casanova fest that's mentiond above and saw arash speak. His topic was inner game and the whole time, his message was "own your balls." He was a really intense and energetic speaker but I think the stuff he was saying was so vague and wasn't practical enough. He kept telling you what you should be but he didn't spend any time on how to become it. Other guys at the event also had a similar opinion of him.

I think this reddit ama here is just his people trying to promote his coaching. Seems like a lot of the stuff he does is fr self promotion. At the casanova fest he had 3 or 4 really hot chicks with him and they were there just to make him look like more of a player. If he was dating all of them I don't get wh they would all agree to show up at some guys tiny house to hear him speak about picking up other women.

This is a fucking joke. I remember 10 years ago when IMC was about teaching people fighting skills, being disciplined, and working on yourself for the sake of becoming a better person. Arash also didn't look like a gang member. From the looks of it, it is now just a stable for yoga pant wearing "bro ho" types. The video on his website is so corny (sexual images on the wall, Arash checking himself out in a mirror with a class going, on his phone, etc). There is a difference between being an Alpha and an asshole.

Could you please explain the historical progression of trends in PUA?

Ross Jeffries used NLP in the 90's, but the system was not very formalized.

Forums in the late 90's has a variety of self-professed gurus like MrSex4uNYC and Maniac High. Each had a different focus on attitude, structure, etc.

Mystery created his complete system, tying together many of the individual elements (attitude, structure, etc.). He also chose terminology for many elements. Perhaps most importantly, he starting teaching and demonstrating his approaches in real life.

What happened after that? What is the cliff notes version of historical progress and trends in PUA since then?

You havent watched or heard any of the lectures then check them out before you start putting him down. Make your own educated comments not what you think is true or not. What Arash speaks is 100% real shit and I can gurantee you that there are very few PUAs and speakers willing to challenge him.
