Hi r/seduction! How've you been? I still lurk here a lot after settling down. Some advice I can give that will definately help you out whether you're starting out or have been closing for a while.

1) Posture is key: It's been said a lot on here but I can't stress enough how important your posture is to someone who doesn't know you. I grew up with horrible posture in high school and most of college. Book bags were partially to blame but mostly I was depressed and weak and my posture showed it. An exercise I did when first learning (and I did spend several hours every afternoon learning) was to imagine a balloon attached to the crown (the little bald spot) of my head. Imagine it lifting up and gently pulling your head up and straight. Your eyes should be looking forward, not down, forward.

2) Eye contact: This is harrrrrrddddddd to do but you have to force yourself to look someone in the eyes and maintain that for the entirety of their thought/sentence. It doesn't have to be a unibomber stare but you have to be engaged in the conversation.

3) Grooming and getting some clothes that fit: Look do you have like 100 bucks? The answer should be yes. Go to a male hair salon (go for classy not douchey) and ask the lady for a shampoo and haircut. When she asks "What kind?" Say "Whatever you feel looks good on me". Hair stylists love to do this because it lets them be creative and really do what they love, make people look good. Next go to the mall. Ask a sales associate for clothing advice or better yet a girl in the store. Just ask if a shirt looks good on you ("Hey I need your opinion for a sec does this look good on me? Thanks"). I say this because the number one thing I see when I look at neckbeards or greasy haired beta males is "Fuck if he cleaned up and wore clothes that fit he'd look 10x better" and it's true. Guys don't realize how easy it is to go from greasy loser to good looking guy.

4) Realize that everything on here is a GOOD WAY TO GET YOUR FOOT IN THE DOOR: Nothing more, nothing less. You can do every trick in the book, study for years, practice every opener or neg or whatever but all of that will mean nothing if she finds out you have no passion, no drive, and no interesting qualities. Everything I've put on here and everything everyone else has ever typed is all just a way to get your foot in the door. From there it's up to you. Good luck!
