I'm an older guy (52, but can easily pass for 45). I usually go out solo to a couple of night places that have an interesting age mix, 20-50, and I'm reasonably successful, with all ages. My intermediate game, from approach to building some rapport is not all that great, but once we are talking I usually do well.

I just realized that I'm spending too much time and effort, and what I'm getting are lays with not so great women. They may be reasonably hot, but women who spend all their Fridays and Saturdays at drinking places are not the quality I look for. Also, the resistance level initially is too high.

I've come to realize that day game is better for me.

I'm also considering meetup groups. Most women there are, by default, open to interaction, and there should be, at least, the one common interest that is the theme of the meetup, so the openers are implicit.

I live close to a huge city, so there are a ton, and many where women are majority.
