If you get to be super attractive, like a 9, you might get approached a lot. Also if you get famous and powerful.

But even if you get to that level a lot of chicks will just sit there and wait for you to approach, and not doing so will make you lose many opportunities.

If you don't get to that level than you can just forget about the not approaching thing.

Butterflies aren't very hard to catch. You need the tools and the opportunity. Butterfly hunting also offers you a different set of skills to sharpen as opposed to gardening. If you're a proficient butterfly hunter you will always have that skill. If you need a garden to get your butterflies, you will be lesser in any situation where you don't have your garden.

I've just come out of a multi-year bout with depression and alcoholism due in part to being aggressively pursued by some 9-10 level HBs that were intent on landing a husband. And losing all of them due to a combination of "Next-Generation" shit-tests on their part and my own playbook and past as a PUA.

I've since learned my lesson are realized some sticking points with the help of /u/recyclablebanthas . The women all did stuff I should have DQ'ed them for early, but I let it slide given how attractive they were.

Anyway, my main point is that I did literally zero game to attract these girls. I met them through friends and in the neighborhood and they pursued me; reaching out on social media and via SMS. They quite literally made the first move, which was entirely based on my SMV. Height, looks, reputation, career, personality, etc. This is the "Rockstar Effect" and shows how far having 'Five Star' fundamentals goes to pulling women, no game necessary.

I also have to admit that I missed some solid opportunities in the aftermath due to the ensuing depression and PTSD. So even if the butterflies do come, there is no guarantee they are going to stay. Or turn out to be malicious and destroy everything you've spent years working on.

The real takeaway here is that you need to 'play the field', keep the focus on yourself while also actively/passively pursuing opportunities. A good observation is that the 'passive' opportunities are going to arrive organically anyway, so just be on the lookout for them while you are actively creating abundance. In my experience you are more likely to be able to capitalize on the organic opportunities if you have an abundance mentality.

Ask those butterflies to karaoke, respectfully take them back to their homestead afterward, then invite them to watch cocoon the next day at your joint (and stay over of course). Break up with them a month later in person in the most respectful way. Repeat and enjoy your life until you find that monarch. Then have 1000 children.

Not entirely correct, if all you do is tend to your garden that's all you will have. You also have to take the initiative to go out and meet girls while tending your garden.
