Yes. This is how women operate. The take away from this is do not let their delusional narrative infect you. You are not what they claim. In fact, open your eyes fully, strip away any pedestalized rose colored glasses and see the ex for who they are. They are ultimately selfish and threw away their family for their own lustful interests. They think they got a raw deal and can do better.

You are not the straw man they build to alleviate their guilt for destroying a family. You just aren’t. Assess yourself and your mistakes on your own and not through the horse shit lense of your betraying ex. It doesn’t matter if they betrayed you while married. If they leave for greener pastures, they are adulterers. Don’t give their delusion credence. Check yourself and know who you are. It isn’t who the ex says, i guarantee that.

It's not only typical, I'd say from my experiences, people I've known, and this board, acting like you were the worst ever is the predominant, most common form of characterization.

Once you personally experience it, you begin to wonder about all the ex-boyfriend/ex-husband horror stories you've been told from various persons.

It's fun too when you meet the ex, not necessarily of a woman you're with or been with, but let's say a coworker who dated him. And he's a regular guy, has a few good jokes, likes his dog and his kids and praises them, nothing stand out. But they way he was described you were expecting somebody who was a mix of Buffalo Bill and The Iceman Kuklinski

Been there, seen that. It's justification for ending it. I think some women need to do it so they can move on without regrets and tell the next guy she was abused amd had to get out.

It’s not just typical. If I had to put an estimate it would be 98% of women. Something about our culture but NONE will take any accountability, and ALL will make the man into an abusive monster.

Dude that is how they operate. They can’t tell new guys that they take accountability. Lol They weave a whole new story of lies and repeat it over and over. And then magically they believe it.

That’s why you have to control the narrative from the beginning. Or she will.

So if you’re a guy and start dating a divorced woman and she says she was controlled and he was narcissistic. I would Ghost her. More than likely it’s all bullshit.

honestly, who cares now? Maybe tell her something like this, "I understand you're upset, but we are getting a divorce so we don't have to do this anymore."

Even for women without mental challenges, so many men experience this willingness from ex to destroy as much as possible, and even if obvious that kids will suffer from those attemts. Are there any statistics to support this claim? I think it is proven statistically that higher percent of women initiate divorce, compared to males.

"hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" is on display all day, every day. There are endless stories of women being cruel, vindictive and savage during divorces, not many about "oh yeah, we split amicably and went our seperate ways. yay." Terrance Popp on youtube has a count of 537 men he saved from suicide over just this sort of thing. Ive been threatened by EX she'll contest the divorce agreement she signed and was finished.
