Estimates go up to like 70% of dv coming from the woman but it’s really difficult when it’s so underreported in both cases and not equally, it’s the same with male vs female rape cases where estimates of the actual number go From overwhelmingly female to equal depending on how they try to account for people not reporting.

So (at the time of study) 43.8% of lesbians have experienced abuse - and OF that 43.8%, 67.4% were exclusively female - this means exclusively female-on-female violence is 29.5% of lesbian abuse (by comparison, apparently about 35% of straight women have experienced partner abuse, with 98.7% of those being male, meaning exclusively male-on-female abuse is 34.5% of all heterosexual abuse.)

So it's not that there is no such thing as lesbian abuse. It's only HIGHER than straight women experience from men if you also... add the 14.3% of violence lesbians have experienced from men.

Anyone who has taken the time to read the CDC reports on violence knows that if the police are called on a DV case where one partner was violent to the other, 70% of the time it was the woman hitting the man.

The politicized stat is the one that says 95% of extreme violence is committed by men. Which begs the question, what is extreme violence? It's actually hard to find the definition as it wasn't in the CDC report, but from a few articles I found it sounds like it means things like 'broken bones, choking, cigarette burns, etc). All things that would require you to be stronger than the other party to pull off. So I describe it as politicized because it's basically saying 95% of the violence that only a man is capable of committing is committed by men.

But if you take the time to look, there's a human violence problem and the data shows that if you just look at physical violence, women are more likely to be violent in relationships, and if you include emotional abuse, they are significantly more abusive.

But no question, when men are violent they cause more physical harm.

The whole bear thing does prove they exaggerate and lie to play the victim. I find myself alone in the woods with women all the time. I like to go on hikes and encounter many lone female hikers and runners out on the trail. Every single time they just pass me, and don’t go off trail to avoid me, they stay right on the trail and pass right beside me. I have yet to experience one of them freak out when they see me and run away or whip out bear spray or scream for help or treat me like they would a bear, because that would be absolutely ridiculous. Nothing that silly ever happens anywhere because it would be absolutely ludicrous to treat a fellow hiker like a bear. But here they are on the internet saying otherwise, they just gave themselves away, the lie is exposed, they exaggerate and way overplay the victim thing.

men are incredibly dangerous. and can overpower women easily. it's a legitimate concern and why women should always carry some sort of item, for protection. Most women are hurt and worse by men that they know.

for most of human history.Women were oppressed by men. Forcibly married off. body's mutilated and controlled. couldn't even control their own finances.And it's still happening right now.

even if the information you provided was true. it wouldn't even be a tiny drop of the suffering and misery women have experienced at the hands of men. They have every right to distrust men. im shocked more women aren't more distrustful

I don't call the police when my car gets a ding in the door either. Women may hit men more than men hit women, but men don't get injured at higher rates because women are weak as shit. When a woman punches me, I laugh. When a man punches me, I need to defend myself or be sent to a hospital.

i will literally never buy this because if men were abused so often, they would agree with women that abuse is wrong and that abusers should be punished more often.

yet when things like the jonah hill texts surface, men are DESPERATE to defend him and say "that's not abuse" instead of agreeing that abuse is wrong.
