Careful my man. Judge's can do what they want. I walked into a hearing thinking my ex would be slayed after she ignored a court ordered request for a pile of financial documentation of income and spending from both of us. Her honor completely ignored my ex's lapse, grilled me on what I provided, and deferred to the little information my ex provided without question when she disagreed with my budgeting. She ruled unilaterally in my ex's favor and chastised me for "trying to falsify" what amounted to a minor accounting error that I could have explained, had she asked. Instead, she took budget line items from my ex without question and with a smile. It was Twilight Zone level shit. You'd think I was a wife beater, molester, drunk and whoring gambler that was getting his due...nope, just another simp. Now the best was, just based on income, I was due child support, but after the thrashing I got ex's lawyer stood up and exclaimed "father's not even exercising his parent time!" Without a beat, the judge didn't ask if that was true or why (my ex is gate keeping), she just let me know that "child support follows the child, and we're going to correct that at a later date." Judges do what they want and you thank them for doing it. Careful thinking you have the upperhand in any of this.

Friends and lawyers egged them on, tell them to imagine all the riches they will get and then shockingly realize that most states are now defaulting to 50-50 custody so most of them have to get a job as the largess of child support is no longer there vs the previous 90-10 splits. One of the best decisions I made was going with a female lawyer who was a working mom herself so she was quite a bit more aggressive in fighting the dreams.

Yes. Just Went through that. Ex asked for supervised visitation for me, and 1 overnight a week for me based on 7 pages of nonsense (I don’t cook, I don’t clean, I don’t do diapers, etc - all of which was laughably false). The mediator ripped her apart and we have 50/50. She cried for an hour in mediation. Oh well lol

Yes. Mine is currently doing that. I ended up hiring a PI and I’ve got proof that when “she’s got the kids” she’s leaving them with one of her parents and going out all day. I’m pretty sure to have an affair which we’re also hoping to prove

Mothers do get the edge. In court you can’t pull punches. Don’t let anything slide. Your honor she is in contempt. 1, 2, 3, 4. Here is the texts and emails regarding these contempts etc.
if you can record her legally running her mouth, that is good shit. Pisses judges off to open mock the system.

What's worse is her behavior and how she's messages me on OFW zero regard for how she comes off insults blackmails lies gaslights makes up bizarre theories, threatens me with legal action daily it's almost like she lives in an alternate universe then what happens in court. Latest thing is judge yelled at her lawyers then her lawyer got into an argument with GAL accusing him of not doing anything.

I think it's normal. My ex thought we'd split the house we bought two months earlier with my inheritance, that all of the debt we accrued during the marriage was my liability, that her debt she came into the marriage with was our shared liability, that everything we had bought during the marriage was hers alone, and that the house would sell for way more than it would. And that she should have alimony, despite cheating in a state that bars alimony for adultery.

Happened to my BIL, his ex thought she'd get a million dollars, literally. Now the divorce is over, no CS and ALL the alimony goes straight to the bank for the mortgage. So instead of a million bucks, she had to get a job, lol!!!! Some people.....

My ex committed a felony by moving and taking my daughter out of state… she still thinks she’s going to gain full custody.
