Yeah, it doesn't work for most of us. I found most of my gfs online. But, I think there's something psychological where you swipe for hours and send messages out and it's the 10 percent rule. 100 messages/10 replies/1 date.

You're so tired of all the swiping that as long as she isn't unattractive and obnoxious and you have some things in common, you hope the date goes well and you'll soon be in a relationship!

None of my relationships have been good. When we broke up or just mutually ghosted each other, no tears were shed. My two longest relationships, two years, came out of the desperation to be in a relationship and lasted that long out of a fear I would never find someone else.

You hear success stories about people meeting online and getting married. I truly hope they're happy. But in my longest relationships, both women wanted to marry me. I'm 100% certain that those marriages would have ended in divorce.

I've been saying this a lot, but I've discovered it's better to create a life you want and focus on your goals and attract someone that way.

thats wild because i when i fly into a new city i get tons of matches. if you’re making pilot money, then hire an OLD consultant—a great one—and take their advice and use it to

hire a pro photographer and tell him/her exactly what the consultant asked; and
have them craft your bio.

I’m 47. Bald and have a bit of gray in my beard though am 6’0. Yet get a good amount of matches with women ranging from their mid to late 20’s up to my age. The key with OLD profiles is:

Good pictures. No selfies ever. Colorful and unique backgrounds if possible (this is the online version of peacocking). Face pics should be taken at eye level and not at weird angles.
Use your bio and prompts to stand out. Women like men of action. Don’t say you’re funny or witty. Show it with a joke or clever answer to the prompts. I talk about socks in a dryer in my profile but since it’s done cleverly women respond to it.
Talk like a sophisticated adult. Don’t use lazy abbreviations like “u”. If you can incorporate words that make you sound intelligent and create an emotional connection all the better. If I was a pilot my bio would read like: “Passionate about fitness, competitive sports, and aviation. Flying a plane at 35,000 feet and seeing the sunset over the clouds daily makes me want to find that someone with whom I can spontaneously hop on a jet with. Cockpit jokes not welcome. 😏”
Once you create a profile that resonates with women, I personally don’t like or swipe. I see who likes me and just chat with the top 5-10 of those.

If you're 100 % sure you're good looking then you just need better pictures. You can get them from dating specific photographers or do a planned candid photo shoot ( faux candid - fake candid - plannedid )

Online dating never worked for me. Because I'm a little weird and my personality doesn't come across well online. I just go out to places that will have women and talk to them. That's landed me far more dates and connections than OLD. It might seem scary but approaching random girls is really effortless. Just go up and say hi. Worst thing to happen is theyre not interested, which doesn't matter because there's so many women out there.

Get into a hobby that has women or just go out more and approach.

Also online dating is severely skewed in the womans favour. Do you want to compete with thousands of simps in their inbox? Stand out and approach women in person. Trust me I didn't think it'd work but it does. I'm no model either

Online dating seems to pick up once you hit your late twenties because the pool of women interested in you will keep getting bigger. From 29-34 now I've had the most success because my matches are aged anywhere from 20 to 36. At your age most of the women interested in you will be 19-23.

You need to pay for the subscription and have good photos. Cant be one or the other. If you have both of these you will get great results

You seem to think woman care about what you do for a living a lot more than we do. We care about WHO YOU ARE as a person. I’ve met literally dozens of successful men with good solid careers and lives, but they were mostly shallow, sexist, overly conservative and dull as shit.

I don’t ever 👍🏻anybody first. My inbox is always full. We on average get WAY more unsolicited likes and messages than most men do. I only respond to clever, respectful, thoughtful and considerate messages from men that seem well grounded, educated and kind. If I even get the slightest hint of sexism, misogyny or a lack of respect for women, I’m ignoring you.

I’d just as well date a garbage man with a huge heart and kind soul. Character is everything at the end of the day.

Edit…after reading some of the comments here. Shirtless, gym selfies, pics posing with guns, cars and fish, any kind of lame flex, staged photos of only yourself, obvious professional bios are all instant ignore or pass.
