Ex-wife moved out in 2020. Since then, I've become debt free, paid off my house, bought 3 motorcycles, remodeled my kitchen and dining room, and managed to save up enough money for a new furnace/ac. The kids have had ass kicking Christmas/birthdays, they seem much happier around me, they say that I'm less stressed out too. I cook all my own meals, do my own laundry, maintain my very large yard very well, and I hired a maid because I hate cleaning and I can afford it.

My life is perfect right now. Why would I throw it all away for some heavily used vagina and someone else's kid while gambling my house and all of my property in the process? I am actually fairly content on my own honestly. I am older and have had my share of conquests. Let's just say I lived my life to the fullest. Men have been the builders of society and the catalyst for change. History’s greatest figures are us. The greatest minds in science are us. The pioneers and explorers are us. Founders of Empires, kingdoms, countries, cities and towns are us. Even as I speak, there are men that are still making history, building multibillion companies from the ground up, and making new discoveries in science.

And even if you’re not one of those men, there are men that fought wars to defend nations under the command of great leaders, men who worked the mines to provide the iron needed to build industrial society, men who built homes, and even today there are men who are doing dirty or hard jobs one would think twice about. Even doing a menial job has a role in keeping the engine of society going.

The future will be written by us.

We have potential, and it’s simply up to us to unlock it.

Think about where you’re currently at. Are you happy there? What can you do to change it. Don’t say you don’t know. Start thinking, start reading and learning and improving yourself and then you’ll know. You can make the changes in your life to make it better for yourself and possibly others.

The question is different depending on the scope of parameters.

As a group? Even setting biological reproduction aside yes. We work better together than apart or opposed. We are, ideally, complementary. To think otherwise is to fall into the same thinking that the feminists who make our lives miserable do. I need to remind myself of it, so I don't become the mirror of what I hate.

With individuals? No, largely we don't need each other like that. Plenty of people are fine like this and don't need the other half. It's up to you to decide if you 'need' someone.

Largely I've held to the idea that "I don't need no man/woman" can be followed with "but it can be nice to have one anyway."

I do think that we need mothers. Also most of caretaking jobs are done by women. Sure, men could do them but it‘s just not in their general interest to do them. Our society is build upon the balance between masculinity and femininity. We need both to have a functional society.

Do we need women in terms of sexual relationships? No, probably not. It would be nice but it‘s not a necessity. Women would probably say the same thing about men here. Fair enough.

My life is mostly woman free, but it is easier for me as I am Bi. I actually tend to feel bad for my friends, most of whom are straight men and all of the bullshit they put up with on a daily basis.

The hoops, the emotions, the constant tasks/errands just for sex maybe once a week.

The depressing part is they so much want a more simple life, just to be happy, and have a loving intimate relationship with their wives.

They are just worn out. So much gets fucked up by their wives addiction to social media, how they need to appear, the bar is constantly raising for them just to be content. It reinforces rampant emotion rather than trying to process and move past it.

I used to feel weird about my sexual proclivities, now I feel thankful. However the feminization of men is hitting hard in the lgbt community. And they tend to exaggerate the worst aspect of women. Oddly being masculine is what they all want to date. But that takes effort, makeup is easier. Shits fucked up.

People don’t necessarily need each other for survival these days. Men don’t “need” a woman at home to care for the house so he can work hard and women don’t “need” a man to get a loan or rent/own a home or protect them from wildlife.

But we do still “need” each other for support and love and comfort, or at least we all need someone that will provide us with our basic emotional and physical needs.

I don’t need my SO for survival and they don’t need me for survival. We are together because we both are humans that need love to be healthy full humans and found that in one another.

There are two primary types of single-sex society in the world today. The first is prison, and is what people usually turn to as an example, but those people have already shown they have problems operating in society; it's going to be screwed up no matter what.

I think women might need builders, plumbers, firemen, security, sanitation workers, engineers, doctors etc. ever so slightly more than men need play-school teachers, marketers, receptionists, project managers who don’t know what the people whose schedules they shuffle do, nail salon workers or even nurses.

Humanity needs women because we would die out as a species if we couldn't reproduce. Aside from babymaking, there is nothing else we strictly NEED women for. Everything else could be done by a man.

Ladies have an intangible value of course. Male psychology is such that we are instinctually competitive and work harder when we're trying to impress partners or care for a family. Plus love and family make men happy, and loneliness makes men sad. If ladies all vanished off the face of the planet, men would be even more miserable than they already are and individual productivity would plummet. Society would still function though. Just look at guys in prison, they would probably rather cohabitate with ladies, but they can still live their lives without undergoing mental collapse.

Strictly speaking, babymaking is the only function women perform that is necessary to human survival. The inverse is true too. Ladies could survive as an independent species if they somehow found a way to synthetically generate sperm.

But to say the very least the amount of guys being so desperate for sex and literally run through hoops to do it and then do a 180% degree turn and say "I have no need for the female gender" surprises yet also confuses me all at the same time.

We saw in Iceland 100,000 working women made a strike , they didn't go to the work and nothing happened the society didn't fall apart. And after that day working men said they had a great day at working.

I saw that I'm pretty sure the issue is the fact the recent one was a celebration I'm pretty sure the government was prepared for the celebration of a strike that happened around the year of 1970 of which the original strike did actually fuck up Icelandic society as most women were involved in the Fishing/teaching industries and since the majority of women back then didn't have rights most mothers just simply left to go protest meaning fathers were forced to take there kids to work and society did generally stop and the Icelandic government folded.

I have no clue where the misconception that the modern Day celebration was a strike started but I first saw it on Youtube with a fair bit of comments saying "it was a celebration" and a couple arguing back and forth.

Because common/average men maintain these man-made inventions and discoveries and contributes 99% of the time for the civilizations.

The dumb part is the fact it doesn't take that much people to cut a tree. nor does it take that much to operate heavy machinery which does the majority of lifting for you. Last i checked there's only 82,000 people employed in the Logging industry in the US. yes, Basic Robotics does that much we only need 80,000 people to Fund more then 333M. and I'm pretty sure it's similar for other Niche industries dominated by men.

Yes a few amounts of women maintain society too but that's very little.

until you remove all feelings, including associative feelings from you processing the world, then you're literally living in delusion. the brain controls so much more than the concrete thinking society is used to. look up "emergence" in systems thinking. question WHY some things are here and then look this information up yourself, keeping in mind how the brain is actively trying to trick you to become "emotionally complacent".

it would do you well to use all of your brain and think about things systematically. your brain has the potential to, but in the same way your brain limits you in emotional arousal, you're limiting your perception of reality.
