He says men are not struggling because women are flourishing. I think that’s very misleading.

We have been advantaging women and disadvantaging men which absolutely has helped women flourish and resulted in more men struggling. He says it’s not a zero sum game but I argue in many ways it has to be.

If a woman is hired over a more qualified man under affirmative action, it’s not just that she flourished, but it’s also true he lost out on a job he should have gotten. Her benefit was absolutely at his expense. It’s the same with women owned business advantages, scholarship money being targeted to women, title IX and so many other discriminatory policies: Advantaging women absolutely comes with disadvantaging men. It has to, just as more tails has to come at the expense of less heads in coin tosses.

This is my major frustration with Reeves: He completely fails to acknowledge the very real discrimination at the heart of these issues.

Recently, Biden announced title IX mandates that deny accused college men the most basic due process procedures which obviously advantages the women accusers at the expense of accused men. This isn’t some nebulous claim on the part of republicans, but is a very real discriminatory policy change mandated by a democrat politician.

Young men aren’t reacting to republican propaganda, they are reacting to very real discrimination. I will agree with him however that democrats have mostly lost sight of the fact men vote too.

I busted my ass for an year in my company and delivered critical projects. A woman who was missing in action for about 4 months due to maternity leave was given a promotion over me. So.... 👍🏽

What level of delusion do you have to be in to need research to understand if you belittle, antagonize, insult and attack any grouping of people, then go around and obnoxiously preach to them while ignoring their feedback at any level and try to point them towards your sermons to "educate" them on how and why their feedback is wrong, they will not be supporting your things and eventually fight you.

This isn't that deep, just stop being insane.

Instead, at the very last gasp, they [Democrats] started to say to men: “Well, if you care about the women in your life, you should vote for us. Or maybe the reason you’re not voting for us is because you’re secretly a little bit sexist?” Trying to either shame or guilt trip or scare men into voting Democrat was spectacularly unsuccessful.

In the end, the Dems just didn’t do well enough among women to offset the gains that the Republicans made among men. It turned out that was a fatal miscalculation.
