Of course they can still date and meet guys, that’s not the issue. They always have good options if they are attractive.

The wall refers to her ability to get the guys she really wants. Thst does fade away as they approach 30. She can’t compete with the girls in their early 20s for those select guys.

This is why so many women want to marry at 30. It’s because their bio clocks are ticking, their looks are fading. So they now need to lock down a provider to fund a family.

That is why divorce is so high. What happens for many of these women is after a few years into that marriage they have the kids, they are past the toddler stage and it’s time now to go have fun and try to chase the guys they want, knowing the state will ensure child support flows and that she has secured the provider husbands resources for her kids and his parental support.

Women don’t care about getting the average Joe. There is a endless line of them. It’s the top guys.

There is no wall am surprised someone else noticed , I can’t be asked linking the study but women do not experience a insane reduction in their dating pool when they hit their 30s or 40s or whatever , rhey simply become more selective the older they get , the avg women from the time rhey start dating to when they stop will always have more dating power or SMV then the avg man their standards just get higher

This isn’t a issue imo and I think men need to be the one to increase their standards not the other way round

It’s not about dating - I have a lot of female friends who complain that after 30-35 (and /or divorce) you can have tons of dicks whenever you want. But relationship or even marriage - not happening as men are no longer interested.

The wall is about chances of finding „the right guy” after 30-40.

Men have this much more simple as they can take woman in 20-30 and nobody will care.

I think the reason is more important than the number.

If a woman isn't purposefully being obnoxious of course she's going to have more dating options. If women know that men's "but she's hot" reasoning will no longer apply, it's likely they'll start tapping into that personality everyone talks so much about wanting but no one seems to have...

I know you probably view or think everyone views "the wall" as some hole women fall into and are stuck in. But I think it's just when the cheat codes stop working and women have to actually rely on doing things men will actually notice, because we can't see through the wall that's now there. But we can still hear and feel.

Typically another issue is family. Yeah, those women will date, but if someone wants to start a family of their own the chances of them looking that way are lower. We can't really say the wall is absolute failure there are groups that coin the term hagmaxxing...

I'm not too sure about the comeuppance of men who lead with money... It seems like a good way to get used. And even mutual use isn't something I'd be bragging about.

I never really got the whole "men age like fine wine while women age like milk" thing. There's a lot of older women who still look somewhat great whereas older men often have to deal with crap like male pattern baldness. Maybe the average woman's looks goes down more than the average man's, but only because the average woman had much more looks to lose in the first place and she still has better looks anyway.

All you have to do as a woman is be willing to meet people, be willing to go on dates, keep your weight down, have some degree of physical fitness, have a good sense of hygiene, and address medial issues as they come up so you stay healthy. In other words, the things that successful people in their 30s know to do anyways. It helps if you can carry on pleasant conversation and you take interest in things. If you are the sort that finds everything lame or boring, it'll be harder.

For men, all the above applies but more. You have to be VERY fit. You have to be well educated. You have to have a high paying career oriented job with a good title, and you need to demonstrate ambition. Doing the normal shit and wanting to get by and be happy and chill isn't acceptable, women expect rabid levels of ambition. If you sit down to relax, you are a lazy loser living in Mom's basement.

Anyways, I think the two best times to get married are around age 22, with full family support and vetting, before either have really started their adult lives, so that they grow together with kids. Or, at 35-40, when both have similarly successful careers and interests developed and want companionship and an activity partner more than anything else. Again, full family support with lots of vetting is necessary, and there are more honestly-expressed mutual interests than differences. That last part is where many couples fail: they fail to understand each other because of a failure to communicate.
