How do you react when another guy uses you to score points

in a scenario where another guy uses you to score points, makes fun of you, makes you the butt of the joke etc, whats the best way to react? particularly when they are doing it in front of women, but also when not.

I feel like going along with it too much makes you look like a pushover, whereas if you don’t react you can look humourless. Is there a way to react that makes you come across the best way possible?
