I did that pre-divorce lol. Wife checked out years ago, wouldn’t go to therapy, I was stuck so figured what the hell. We eventually got divorced, I don’t regret a thing

Yes. I did it and screwed a lot of people. I do not recommend it. It's probably telling you something else. Was your divorce traumatic or based on an affair?

I went the opposite way— incredibly intense desire to connect with someone on a profoundly emotional/spiritual level. If it goes beyond, wonderful.

I had that issue and it ended my marriage. I’m now going to an in patient treatment program for 45 days. I’m still married but just on part right now. I caused my marriage to collapse.

Yes. This where I have found myself over the last year and a half. And honestly I’m falling deeper in it. Wanting and needing more sex more often and then not being satisfied. Well I am at the moment but then feeling addicted to the feeling and wanting it more. I crave the closeness and the chase then the satisfaction of how our body’s react. What drives me crazy is how they respond sexually and being aroused. It’s like a drug to me knowing they are feeling that way for me.

It’s like I’m a addicted to a drug and I’ve never had any addictions.

Yes, this happened to me. It was like puberty 2.0. I think part of it was starting to work out and get my body moving, there was a lot to it. It was bad for a while, though, like middle school saluting the flag moments lol. I did hook up with someone and I regretted it though. Discovered I was a bit of a demisexual the hard way (pun intended)

Yes, I can relate. It's likely a coping mechanism distracting you from the underlying pain, stress & anxiety etc.

Get into some decent counselling, exercise until fatigued, journal about it and remind yourself who you want to be and where you want to get to, learn how to ground yourself to return to a place of calm.

Don't feel guilty about it, sit with the feeling and explore it alone. Try not to let it lead you blindly into more pain in your life.

No, divorce is a pretty traumatic experience for anyone here, most of us have had issues with libido after the loss of the family unit...but that's not to say hooking up with new people isn't fun and exciting, I did find comfort in knowing that women wanted me and it did help to rebuild my confidence, just be mindful of whom you might hurt along the way.
