I’m in my late twenties and it’s starting to happen to me more and more, that the girls I go on first dates with begin to put the pieces together and figure out that I get a lot of girls.

But! Instead of working in my favor, it seems to actually hurt me. I get a lot of “I’m not easy like those other girls you’re seeing” and it’s making it harder to close.
They just don’t feel special enough and they seem to value being special more than sex with me, which they also seem to view as me taking a W and them taking a L by “giving it up” instead of it being a mutually enjoyable activity which both parties are interested in, let alone a W for them.

I thought having success with other women was attractive? What about preselection?

I remember in my early twenties being told things like “you must be a heartbreaker” always meant the girl was fully sold at that point and sleeping with her is going to be extremely easy.

Now I hear “you must say that to every girl/bring all
the girls here” as they almost yawn while seemingly loosing interest as if me having loads of women is some mundane thing and I’m just one of many guys who got it like that while in reality it’s only true for a very small percentage of men.

What happened to women’s competitive nature? Wanting to take on a challenge and see if they can eventually become the favorite or the only one?
