This almost a complete summary of my ex LVM situationship of 4yrs. Can't cook a proper meal. Can't dress himself. Can't keep his apartment clean. Can't keep a proper job and now currently working for cash for a convict scammer. Spends all his time playing video games and dress up. Says he "can't love". A hypochondriac. Porn addiction. Quite narcissistic. Initially his "childlike nature" attracted me to him because I thought he was sweet and innocent. Turns out he's just a completely incompetent 42 year old LVM who was fucked up by his mentally ill parents and never learned any life skills.

I don't get what's wrong with these men. Don't they want to take care of their woman and their family like their forefathers before them?

I'm bisexual, and when dating a woman I take on the masculine role. I want to spoil her and provide for her and give her the moon and stars on a silver platter. It makes me feel good and protective when I can do that. What happened to this generation of men that they're so disconnected from and bitter against that protective and providing masculine role?

I live in Santa Cruz. There are frequent articles in the local news paper and magazines pointing out that most of the men in this town have Peter Pan Syndrome. There are more women than men in this town so even the shittiest men think they’re a catch. They play the field for decades roping in forever girlfriends. Ugly ass 50 year olds chasing after a new bikini clad UCSC student every year. It’s fucking sickening.

I briefly dated one that eventually proudly even said he was a Peter Pan when things were ending and he was fluttering off to Europe with no job prospects or anything, just cause it’s fun. Sex with him was amazing though, especially now that I think of the longer term guy I had after him, who could NEVER get it up fully and I have never seen have an orgasm. 😞 The first one actually did say that as a student he had a serious porn addiction and failed his course because of it, then decided to go cold turkey, and the evidence was certainly there - he was easily excited and could go on for hours.

The second guy I cared about, since he was big on acts of service, which I found so heartwarming, since I’ve never had that experience before. Sad, I know, and I’m not young. He was very strategic about reeling me in and releasing personal red flag details about his life.

At first he told me he lived in a very upmarket part of town. Then, a few dates in I find out he’s only renting a room from his brother and brother’s family. As someone said, “his family are still raising him at the age of 40”. He told me he’s gone to Uni, but much later tells me he self-sabotaged by refusing to officially submit his final piece of work, “because it was terrible” and he was so ashamed of it, even though professors and peers said otherwise. So he never graduated. I have two degrees so the dishonesty irked me.

He then has this beautiful shiny 4WD that he continuously spends money on and takes onto some crazy 4WD roads, which I thought was an interesting and manly hobby. He then tells me that it’s a company car, so it belong to his boss. Towards the end we went for an activity and, without thinking, I said: “you pay for this one”. Granted, he was always insisting on paying and driving, so I loved that about him too, and would occasionally chip in for small things. What do you know, his card got rejected, cause he didn’t have the $45 in it. He was mortified and kept telling me that he was getting paid in a few hours. I paid the bill and told him not to worry, but it gave me an excellent idea about his financial responsibility and situation.

And finally, I find out that throughout his life he had various spells where his mother procured jobs in her one-person business, essentially pulling him out by the ears out of every pit. He was so useless, she must have wanted to ensure he doesn’t become homeless after her death and got him to take out a mortgage on a cheap property in a small town with her, but then at some point he came up with some stupid idea and was pestering her to buy him out so that he could squander that bit of investment he made.

After all this, he had a nerve to ask me to be “friends”, because apparently there has been no physical attraction from the very beginning, which was absolute BS, cause I remember him not being able to keep his hands off me, and was most likely a twisted way to punish me for his limp dick shame. And he was oh so terribly upset, making implicit threats of suicide when I did not want this “friendship”.

I should have listened to him when early on he said he thought he had borderline personality disorder.
