What makes a man high value?

A man only has to be perceived of as higher value in some way to a woman, that way is unique in many cases though, that's why even competitive eaters have groupies.

I can't speak for everyone on some of my criteria, but the main ones for me include:

-Indicators of good self-care (fitness, grooming, health)

-Ability to sustain himself (career, cooking/cleaning skills, reasonably cared-for dwelling)

-Social standing (number, quality, and status of friends, as well as frequency and type of event invitations, and of course reputation)

-Charisma (confidence, decisiveness, sociability, graciousness, and cojones)

-Being an interesting human being (hobbies, skills, projects, passions)

From what I have seen on TRP most men work towards a higher SMV by working on their appearance (working out), building confidence, working towards being attractive to lots of women, and building on their careers.

Now, since some people have talked about what they look for in a man I'll add that I don't find most of those traits above attractive at all. I looked for and married the more Ron Swanson-esque mans man, with skills like hunting, fishing, woodworking, quiet and serious, history of mostly LTR, money not important.

Intelligence, Strength, Capacity to provide/earn, well groomed, well developed morality, and desire for traditional relationship dynamic.

I need a man who is smart, if he's intelligent, then I can trust him to make decisions, I know that he can think deeply about issues and be forward thinking, I think it's critical for planning and it bodes well for us if we have a family and a household to maintain.

Strength because I want to be feel safe around my man, I want him to be able to pick me up and carry me away, I want him to be emotionally dependable, I want him to strand strong as we weather the ups and downs of life together, I want him to have my back.

Capacity to provide/earn, is simply either the ability to provide right now, or that with us being a team that comes with time, that he would be able to take care of us if we have a family, that he desires to provide a good life for both us with me by his side, that he has the capacity to improve upon these things and continue to be reliable and seek success.

well groomed, I want him to smell nice, I want him to be presentable, I think all of these are a great indicator of his physical and mental health, of how he wants to live his life, of how he would expect our children to grow up, that he while maybe not having a lot of money, would still be rich in heart while poor in wallet, that we wouldn't live in squalor that he wouldn't accept that. it makes him more desirable to me.

morally is he strong, has he thought of the consequences of actions, philosophy of life, does he ground that to reality of himself and me and our partnership, that he would be able to pass similar traits and teachings onto our children, that it would aide him and us in growing as human beings, to courting a good social standing for us together, that his moral compass compliments my own and that we keep each other strong and grounded.

traditional relationship dynamic is one in which it's us vs the world, we take care of each other, each working to please the other so both are constantly pleased, that he's able to treat me like the woman I am, and him the man that he is, that we respect each others differences and celebrate them, curating them to create harmony between one another.

these things to me, make a high value man.

I think one issue a lot of women have is we biologically want the "trio": looks, money and masculine demeanour. Yet we also have sociological and psychological requirements and often these can go unchecked and hold us back, especially if having a partner is a priority of ours.

Because I'm a bit too self-centred and very fussy, my first criterion was "Be like me." Not as in demeanour or ambition, but I wanted someone who shared (or at least understood) my hobbies, sociopolitical outlook, career paths and whose end goal matched mine (4-8 children, house in the country, smallholding and self-sufficiency). Plus masculine demeanor, mental and physical strength, income potential, etc. In other words, I wanted him to lead, not follow, so he needed to come "pre-calibrated" with a personality and set of interests similar if not identical to mine. I had a few lesser preferences, but they weren't as significant as the main ones.

On the other hand, I knew full well that such a man would be rare and may not be available or willing to have me as a partner. The more your conditions, the more willing you should be to spend your life single, be it as a virgin spinster or a "modern single lady". The more desperate you get, the more likely your choice of good men will thin out. If getting a man is your priority, then the biological urges are the base and everything your mind and social circle add to them is superfluous.

As most things have already been mentioned, standards. If a guy has a history of sleeping around a lot or having had a lot of relationships in the past then to me his value drops considerably. If you set high standards for your potential SO it shows you value yourself. Also friendly unavailability as opposed to desperation.

A high value is a man who is funny and intelligent and has positive traits I would want my children to have. I'd put high value on a man who can be happy no matter where he is, I'd much rather have children who could find their happiness from themselves than from money.

I think the trifecta for most women is appearance, money, confidence. Appearance and confidence first, but men with a lot of money are definitely high value. There just aren't a significant enough amount of them for women to refuse to settle for less. From there it's just personal preference. There aren't really a large amount of universally appealing traits.

What makes a man high value is his height, symmetry, the thickness of his hair, the quality of his teeth, his face and his muscles. To older women say 25 up, its the size of his wallet and the willingness he has in parting with his wallets contents.
