Genuinely, I am not happier at having found TRP knowledge. Yes, it does work if you want to get laid, increase your popularity, and improve your over all mental toughness and physical image. However, you need a certain willingness to change and TRP gives you some rules on how to deal with harsh reality. I can honestly say that I am proud of some of the things I have done post finding this sub, but it's not TRP's job to make a man happy. TRP is about the truth. If you are happier as a BP beta pussy then so be it. It's not my place to judge but I cannot go back nor would I want to. Happiness is just a vague goal everyone wants to achieve but nobody can plan for. TRP gives you goals to shoot for so that you can get what you want. If you want happiness, you gotta figure that out for yourself.

The happiest people I've ever met have Downs Syndrome and don't have a clue how ignorant they are about reality as long as someone else takes care of them. They are fat, dumb, and happy.

I get that there's a lot more to TRP than just getting with girls. I also get that if it's your aim in life to be with the highest SMV women, TRP works great. But I see too many comments and posts bashing the idea of marriage.

Marriage isn't the problem. Divorce rape and courts stacked in favor of women is the problem. There are plenty of TRP men who are in marriages of some length. I believe Rollo Tomassi, for example, has been married for more than twenty years.

It blows my mind how marriage is discouraged and that if you do get married, you need to keep up with TRP.

You got married because you exhibited certain traits as a result of the competition to gain a mate. You will lose that mate if you do not maintain that competitive edge. How is this a difficult thing to understand? I just flew cross country and it was seriously depressing to see the number of fat, hunched males of middle age waddling around the airport. What is it about men that makes them think, "Well, I put a ring on that girl. I can start forking Outback Steakhouse bloomin' onions between my lips every day."?

I was never happy, i became happier once i found trp. Its stupid to think, a redpilled man wouldn't want to settle down. Getting married, is bashed because men are fucked over in divorce court; what are we? Men. So trp wouldn't support getting fucked in the ass, in divorce court.

Every redpilled man is different, therefore some of us like the settle down. I like LTR's, that doesn't mean i believe the relationship is going to last forever. Im enjoying it, till its over. It depends on how you view TRP. If you view it as revealing that all women are terrible, and the only thing it shows is that you should be plating hoes and lifting... it will not only NOT make you happy, it will depress you.

As with any area of knowledge, you have to be able to put it in a framework where you acknowledge that you don't understand it completely, and those that give you advice or field reports are not reliable narrators.

If you view TRP as some hard truths, but realize those relaying those truths to you as unreliable, it can drastically improve your happiness.

Where on Earth do you get that TRP makes anyone happy? TRP is pretty depressing but it is real. You cannot unlearn knowledge once you know it, but once you know it you can deal with reality more effectively than you could before you knew how.

Yes, you are wrong. TRP doesn't 'stop' when you get married, relationships require effort and investment to maintain and marriages more so. If you do not maintain attraction within a relationship you start to take one another for granted, get resentful and things deteriorate.

More than 50% of marriages end in divorce. Of those 70% are ended by women and if both parties have a uni degree that % rises to 90%. Of the less than half of marriages that don't end in divorce, figure about half of those are crap and another 20% are tolerable. That leaves you with <5% that are "good" or "storybook love".

Listen, you may not be a deal guy, but I am, and that is a shit deal.

I was happy when I first found it. Much of its philosophy spoke to my internal thoughts on how I should act, think, and exist in this world, and how I wanted to be when I was a child and a teenager. It rekindled that internal fire that had been dampened by the every day struggle that we all face, and by a growing depression that had taken hold of me.

A year into trying to apply TRP principles into my life, it started to turn upside down as my behavior caused people close to me to start lashing out at my new ways of acting and thinking. I fell into an even deeper depression, which I am still sort of pulling myself out of a year later. I actually went to see a therapist for a few months, started getting better food in my diet and supplementing with vitamin D and zinc, and made huge strides in kicking my booze and weed habits. I'm not out of it yet, though.

But despite still , I am happier overall. I have always been an existentialist type of person, knowing that the vast majority of my present state in life is due to my own actions and decisions, and TRP helps reinforce that. I am not even going to avoid the question, reframe the question or explain TRP. I will give you a direct answer - Yes it makes me happier. I have more options with women, and access to better women. I am healthier and stronger than if I never found TRP. I am with a woman who is nearly 2 decades younger than me and I have banged and plated women who would otherwise be “out of my league”. I am not blinded by the idiotic brainwashing of feminists, manginas and SJWs. If my relationship ends I will start many more, I know I am the prize. I lead, I am the boss, noone tells me what to do (‘cept my kids and I am good with that, it is my job to take care of them, provide for them, guide them and make sure they are happy). So the answer is YES, YES, YES. Life is easier to navigate when you know the truth and you act like the man you were born to be.

Everyone likes that "idea". Especially men. (Most women ARE able to do whatever the hell they want without the fear of losing their pussy-whipped man). And perhaps some men are able to realize that idea to some degree.

But many, many, many men get suckered into that "idea" and then get utterly destroyed. Check out r/survivinginfidelity or r/MGTOW or r/deadbedroom for the horror stories.

Has TRP made me happy? Nothing in life has "made me happy" except the pursuit and accomplishment of my goals. TRP helped me wake up to the reality of men and women, which has helped shape my goals.

The reason marriage is discouraged is because it doesn't work anymore. Thats why I'm currently plating a married woman, a woman with a boyfriend, and my main chick who never wants to marry. I also go out and pick up girls whenever i feel like it. Once you get to this level it stops mattering so much and it just becomes fun.

I don't need anyone around me to be happy. The same will be true when I'm an old man. I will still have friendships that i have made with other men when I'm that age anyways.

One of the big things that trp has taught me is that men and women are looking for different things in relationships. Once you realize that the only woman who will ever possibly love you unconditionally is your mother, you stop wanting that hollywood happily ever after crap. It's a lie. You have been told that to be happy you have to have a lifelong partner to grow old with. You believe it because you're not happy right now.

Keep yourself company. Find your own happiness. When you find it, pull another man up and help him find his. This is how you become a man.

I'm married and TRP keeps our relationship going and staves off beta behavior. This April is our 10th anniversary. Marriage is always an option, maybe not a smart option for a lot of men/women, but it's there for when you click with the right person.

TRP has helped in many facets of my life. It forced me to get my shit together and stop being weak and insecure. That is what it's for.

For me on my journey of 5 years so far, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. I don’t agree with the assertion that TRP can give or take happiness. It can only tell you how things work and it’s up to you to figure out how to utilize what you’ve learned.

Just like you might see happy millionaires, there are also people in 3rd world countries with ear-wide grins. Happiness is something you develop from within by following the path you choose for yourself.

People who live terrible lives have happy moments that lead them to justify how they’re currently living. Life is miserable when your suffering outweighs your happiness. TRP gave me the tools to reduce my suffering and allowed me to enjoy my moments of happiness.

If you wanna marry then go ahead, TRP just tells you what risks come with that. If you’re fine with being on the other end of your choices when they go wrong, then that’s your choice.

I’ve chose the plate life because it’s what made sense to me. The choices I saw were:

-Spin plates, maintain independence and consolidate the resources I would use toward a relationship to myself; at the cost of constant rejection, no lasting female relationships, and having a life not many can relate to

Or

-Date, get married, have someone whom I can grow and bond with and not “feel alone” ; at the cost of not reaching my full potential, the stress that comes with maintaining a relationship, potentially suffering divorce rape and my children leveraged for my income

On a closing note I’ll add this: After RP awakening I’ve noticed so many of the men in my life being disrespected and cheated on while remaining oblivious and “happy” with their choices. The common trait they shared is a lack in the belief they could do better in life.

Interestingly enough some people have realized within the past 3 months I’ve become a lot happier and smiling a lot more. I swallowed the pill exactly 3 months ago and have dedicated myself to it.

Still got a long way to go but I think it can make one happier once one focuses on themselves

It's mad me happier, not in that stupid careless hopeful endlessly optimistic way though ... It's shot that kind of " happiness" or fantasizing dead. It has given me a real sense of self though , a better ability to analyze myself , the people around me and situations , and a stronger feeling of ownership of my own happiness and successes though .

In Short my life is much more fulfilling post-TRP then it was before if not a little more Stressful and a lot less hopeful in the sense of imagination.

Imagine yourself destitute on the street, homeless and broke.

Your whole life, you have had the worst luck in the world and things always seem to go the wrong way for you.

One day, you realize that it wasn't bad luck, shitty friends, or absentee family that got you where you are. It was YOU. The problem is literally you, and you are the only one who can fix it.

Now, does this realization make you happy? It could, if you use it to improve your life. On the other hand, many people feel much happier believing a lie, and telling themselves that the reason they have failed is because of (insert reason) and not themselves. The realization that it was actually them, the whole time, and no one else, can be a dreadful pill to swallow.

It's all in the name bud. It's taking the red pill. It doesn't mean "Do this gimmick and get laid!" or "Treat your relationships a certain way to get leverage!" While there are those elements, they are a result of accepting what reality is. That's taking the red pill and where the name comes from. It doesn't mean things are better, it means you are aware of how things really work. If you want to use that to get laid, to avoid being taken advantage of, etc., it's up to you. But if you don't like how it is, ignoring reality is just being ignorant. It doesn't change anything.
