Something I'm struggling with while unplugging and haven't really seen much is how Christianity and the church play into all of this. The wife and I both grew up in a Christian household so we obviously have the no divorce thing beat into our heads from a young age. Actively thinking about it as a possibility is difficult for me right now but is something I'm slowly starting to accept.

Seeing as how I was rocking the BP for so long I'd basically abdicated my leadership role in the house and for personal reasons have not felt very spiritually inclined. The wife however is not satisfied with things as they are and has been pushing me to step up my role as the spiritual leader of this household.

I've since taken to praying nightly with her and trying half-heartedly to go to church more often. I'm now making that a priority but I still wanted to see what thoughts you guys have. I know a lot of actual Christian roles line up with RP philosophy but their is obviously a disconnect between that and what I hear from a feminized church.

I have been unplugging now for about 3 months and I have been reading all I can get my hands on. I have made a lot of progress in all areas (lifting, career, hobbies, and sleep) and people are starting to notice. Bottom line is my wife has responded positively, and she wants to share the success with others. She has no idea what has been happening behind the scenes. Wife invited several other couples for a lunch next week hoping that my attitude could rub off on some of the other guys. I know you can't force the red pill down, but I have an opportunity here for something, how can I capitalize on this?

I have a question. If my wife denies me sex which will happen cuz i just started redpill...i don't whine..i say ok no problem..then what go about my day...as in? If im gonna go to the gym just say ok gonna go to the gym now or ok im gonna go up in the attic to do a few things etc etc. My wife will think that i got upset like i used to about no sex and will probably tell me you are just going to gym or attic or what not because i wont have sex with you. What is a good way to answer this question. Stick to the no and go about my day or give her a reason?

My relationship with my LTR reached a tipping point and I found MRP. However she uses Reddit too from my PC and noticed the fact I had been viewing this subreddit.

I see regular encouragement for married guys to practice day game and PUA techniques in order to keep their skills sharp and to develop abundance mentality. It seems like most of the stuff that I'm finding online is aimed at 20-something guys looking to "find plates."

Any good resources for men in our circumstances? Discussion of giving soccer moms, secretaries, etc., the tingles but not necessarily bringing them back home. Otherwise I'll just keep reading and translating to my own situation.

EDIT: The Office Game primer was a great read, but not exactly what I have in mind.

I have been unplugging for about a month now and reading No More Mr Nice Guy.

My wife has made a couple comments such as, "Youve changed and now you are just a jerk" and "You dont say i love you to me anymore."

Ive recognized that i have been a beta throughout our entire marriage with pseudo-leadership.

One thing i am trying to reconcile is sex: She is not against giving it but she simply doesnt find pleasure in doing it. Not that she doesnt reach orgasm because i make sure she does everytime. She says that she feels loved when i act loving towards her after sex and that sex isnt for her, it is for me. This has really turned me off since 1. i have no clue what she is talking about and she cant even explain it, and 2. it feels like sex is more of a fee-for-service. If we have sex then she expects me to write her poems, send her flowers, send text messages expressing my deep love for her.

Any thoughts as to where she may be coming from? is this common?

Here's a comment I'm getting from my wife tonight, "You look stressed..."

We're leaving for vacation tomorrow and I've got a list of things I need to get done. So I feel like I'm focusing on the tasks at hand, which she interprets as me being stressed. What is an appropriate response to this shit test/comfort test/dumb question?

I think I understand the MRP position on marriage regarding married men: preserve the marriage if that can reasonably be done; if not then prepare the man for his next relationship.

What is the position on marriage regarding single men or divorced men? Is it "Don't Get Married"? For divorced men is it "Don't Remarry?" Or is it something else?
