Makes sense seeing as most men have sexual scarcity. Women don't view the sexual marketplace from the same perspective as men as all women generally are doing is screening the men who chase them. See it more as a better ROI. It costs little to carpet bomb a dating site, if you're really "into it" you can slightly modify the messages to pick on one thing or the other they have in their profile, but often that's not even needed.

OKC, before they got bought by match, had an interesting analysis where they showed that there is an upper limit on how long the message should be, basically, slightly longer than a one liner and way way shorter than War & Peace. Point being: As you're playing a numbers game and it's usually more guys than girls (sites usually don't publish numbers, but one side actually had and I calculated a 19:1 ratio and I bet they culled inactive men profiles way sooner than female ones) hitting as many as possible can be a viable strategy as long as not everybody else is doing it.

If it was paired with improving one's self image (improving physique, increasing wealth, enhancing status, etc.) then I would agree that it is a more than viable strategy, but the majority of those males are just doing the carpet bombing.

Oh yeah of course it's the simple way of doing it. But you can also do that while not really investing a lot of time into it. Online dating is pretty much a dead end these days if you're looking for something other than a quick lay and can be hyper aggressive in it. The pile of shit is pretty deep.

Suits and ties are impractical when you are in operational IT because they will end up grimy and trashed within a week. You come into contact with all sorts of nasty shit when you are in ops. The ever present grey dust is the main thing.

I've been in "ops" in one form or the other for almost 20 years and I had jobs where suit & tie was the norm, even in the server room. Heck IBM didn't relaxe their dress code until the late '90s / early '00s.

If you really do a dirty job you tend to have an overall (see mechanics), not jeans and t-shirt.

I don't think the messages are beta at all. Look the reality of the situation is that writing a message is like 10 seconds of your time. Here we have a hot girl, who says she is DTF. Sure her profile is shit, but how many people actually take a good look at them on a site like OKC? How many people just say stupid shit on their profile?

Now if a guy offers her like a diamond bracelet on their first date to fuck her...yeah that's some shit right there...But hey why note waste 10 seconds of my life to see if I can bag this crazy hottie?

No...the instances of that are extreme and few and fair between, even if she is crazy.....also always use spermicide condoms (even if you are in a committed relationship in my opinion, simply because babies...yeah I've been with my GF for a few years we both don't need a kid right now.) also after your done, just go to the bathroom and flush it down the toilet.

Online dating has enough fake profiles wasting people's time. This author is toying with a bunch of guys just to satisfy her own superficial curiousity. This happens a lot, and yet it's always guys who get called out and shamed for discomforting or even inconveniencing women. "Creep."

This woman is a creep.

In the past, as a patient, tolerant nice guy, I've ran into too many fake profiles. They lied about their weight. They used profile pics that were well over 2 years old. They lied about their age. Some even lied about their race and culture.

They don't expect or want to meet you in person or over digital facetime (like skype). They are just satisfied to keep chatting through mail messages forever, using you as an emotional tampon and for the attention they never get in person.

In a way, I can empathize. Most of them, after being caught, apologize and explain their lonely, miserable state of being. It's a sad place to be.

However, it's the same as lying to get sex. They're manipulating people. Setting them up for disappointment just so they get a temporary high from the attention. An emotional fix, rather than a physical one. It's dishonest and selfish.

Is it any wonder then, so many guys will try to cut through the bullshit and jump straight to physical contact without "getting to know you a bit better"? Take it too seriously, and you just end up wasting precious time.

A lot of those same girls complain to me that guys are so superficial and just care about profile pics, camera time, or meeting in person ASAP. They are only contributing to the problem.

Meeting in person ASAP is all that matters to me, OKC is basically just a screening process. I don't want to send 50 messages back and forth, we can find out real quick if it will work out in person (or if they're lying).

Also, her fake Aaron Carter fan messages came off as sarcastic, playful and flirty. Asking a guy to pull out his tooth? Hilarious.

Some of the coolest female friends I've ever had in my life were DTF party girls.

If no woman are telepathic, telepathic isn't part of the attraction equation. If the vast majority of woman have unattractive personalities, personality isn't a part of the attraction equation.
