This can explain why ugly men are rational in their decision to be cynical about dating, since given a significant probability of false positives and a low actual rate of sexual attraction

I do not know why people need statistical inferences to tell them something as simple as why someone who is losing at something would have a tendency to be cynical about this. This seems to be more in the realm of a psychologist than a mathematician.

I think I did not have to start my bachelor math degree to know that if a woman was ever to show some interest in me it is safe to say that the probability this interest is fake and she has ulterior motive is equal to 1.

I think something like this is a partial explanation of the "beta bucks" phenomenon. Suppose you're a boring, unattractive guy who gets no interest from women. Then you start making good money, and then women start showing you interest. If nothing else about you changed, it's rather likely that they're primarily interested in you for your money. Or similarly, if you had options before, but then after making money suddenly some much hotter women were showing interest in you, it seems likely that they're gold-diggers.

Lol at men thinking women's reason for dating them should be sexual attraction. I can't stop exhaling strongly through my nostrils at this. Women are the sexually attractive creatures and the gatekeepers of sex. This is like the male equivalent of penis envy. Pussy envy. I'm sorry, but the vast majority of men are not attractive. But women are not visual creatures like men are and can grow to love having sex with their partners even if there was no initial physical attraction. It's more than just looks, it's your confidence/aura/status. Men on this subreddit and TRP have the tendency to project men's obsession with physical beauty onto females.

I've read your posts, and I'm here to 1) help, 2) speak the truth, and 3) sound like a total asshole.

I abstractly relate to the main problem you're experiencing, so i feel like it should be okay for me to say all this. (For a while now I've spent a lot of time and energy uselessly thinking amd worrying about a legitimate series of problems - see username - but have recently started to realize or really, remember, that there's really no sense in thinking all too much about shit that's totally out of hand and out of your hands. Instead, just do whatever the fuck it is that you wanna do.)

Now, this might sound totally fucking crazy, but i feel like just how I'm more than friggin' likely never going to be able to have a "normal" life - ya know, one free of creepy, frightening shit - you're more than friggin' likely never going to catch the attention of a girl who's reasonably attractive by most people's standards. If you are a man who, according to most people, is in the 35th percentile in terms of how physically attractive you actually are, then you're generally only ever going to be able to catch the attention of women who most guys would say are around somewhere between the 1st and 25th percentile in terms of physical attraction. (There have actually been studies on this!)

I bring this first line of thought up just so I could point out that I kind of agree with you and that I also disagree with you. If you are a dude and fairly ugly by most standards and ever even breathed the same air as women outside of a certain range of percentiles, then you're more than likely just a "lucky" unlucky dude. To be fair, you should be cynical about dating women outside those ranges. That in itself isn't reason enough to be cynical about dating though. There's lots of other shit that factors into this stuff too and to different degrees.

Now, going back to my original line of thought... Who gives a shit, man?!! Do whatever - literally whatever - shit you wanna do and get really into it. If there's not enough of that high quality shit that you enjoy around you, then move elsewhere asap! Fucking leave! Literally, gtfo of there or go fuck yourself.

You're getting hung up on stuff that you just can't control.

Now, going back to some posts I saw on your profile...

1) Nietzche was most certainly not an incel.

2) At least one woman literally fucked his brains out (brains=gone), gave him syphilis, and caused him to lose his God-damn mind.

3) Thinking and writing was Nietzche's job. Is he a good role model in terms of work/life balance though? Fuuuuuck no. Absolutely not. As much as I love the guy, Nietzche was actually a loser in his own time and a sort of a douche, regardless of whether he was right or wrong. Don't be Nietzche.
