Data on cheating is hard to nail down, but all the available stats are pretty consistent and basically boil down to this: Most people never cheat, but a lot of people do (30-40%), men and women cheat at about the same rates, with men usually slightly more likely to. Data also backs up the old wisdom "once a cheater always a cheater", and that people who have cheated in the past are much more likely to cheat again.

Interpret that how you want. Most people are pretty decent and mostly honest. That has been my experience.

It doesn't really matter that women have more thirsty men propositioning them. Men can always go to a prostitute. Cheating isn't about how many options you have, it's about the choice you make to be loyal to the one you promised loyalty to or not. That's really all there is to it.

Going to be honest. Pretty irrelevant. Most women don't feel compelled to cheat the way men do. We are not going to actively seek it out. Unless we are so completely miserable in our relationship. And even then women that miserable resort to red wine and ice cream or their friends. Not necessarily sex. She probably doesn't even realize she hasn't craved sex in a while.

Men approach women.

This is where that miserable woman might feel a spark. She hasn't thought about sex for years and has once in a while duty sex with her husband. Then one day a guy at the grocer brushes against her in the produce aisle. He apologizes but in doing so leans in close and lightly touches her arm. He's flirting with her. He's approaching her. He's "sexy." Suddenly she feels something she hasn't felt for her husband in a long, long while.

If she ends up in close quarters with that man or allows for close quarters to be had. She may cheat. But it'll take that man slyly approaching and chipping away at her armor over a period of time.

And even still, I don't think most women will.

Tl;Dr;

Sure more men approach us. And sure we could stand on the corner and let the first guy of 100s wanting to fuck us in the street. But you're thinking about this like a man. Most women don't cheat because 1) we don't have an active sex drive, we have a reactive sex drive and 2) it takes a good looking and suave guy/gal approaching us at the right moment and in the right context to even trigger the thought.

I think men want to cheat more and will honestly go to Backpage.com and call a hooker to fulfill the urge. Boom. Or they will spend all of their family's disposable income to essentially entice a Sugar Baby with money enough to suck his d*ck.

I've never reviewed the data, but I strongly suspect that which gender cheats more is very closely correlated to what the red pill considers 'the wall'. While women are primarily oriented to short-term sexual relationships and relationships that may or may not end in marriage (say under 30-35), women probably cheat more. After that point, men probably cheat more.

As for loyalty. Well it depends on how you define it. As others have pointed out, men are more likely to leave a sick partner. But women initiate divorce at a much higher rate than men and also contribute far less to family expenditures from their own income, even in dual income homes.

As someone who has been the"other guy" a couple dozen times it seems like women cheat more then most people realize. And yes, they will approach, probably more then a single woman would.

Maybe my personal experience is not typical, but I'd be willing to bet that it is. They are just really really good at covering it up. Watching them lie on their phones while standing next to them is a big eye opener

The stats don't include women who get away with it, which is proven that women are more likely to hide it better than men. It also doesn't include women who go on "breaks", sleep with the guy and go back to their boyfriends to be technically not cheating. It doesn't include women who think it's only cheating with physical touch and not sexting, sending nudes, etc.

So yea don't take this study with any heart.
