Ugh I hate the daddy thing. I’ve had a couple of men awkwardly try to use it in the bedroom when we’ve first slept together. I do not want anything to do with dads mentioned in the bedroom. My dad is my dad and we have a healthy relationship, why on earth would anyone sexualise that?

I’ve been in an abusive relationship with a man who was twice my age and wanted the whole daddy/daughter dynamic.

Now that I’ve escaped it, I look back on those memories with disgust. I briefly dated a guy who mentioned that he liked that and I immediately left and blocked him. It’s insanely pervasive and perverse.

As someone who was “into” this during their kinkmeisha stage... it’s a lot of shame and pain that’s hard to understand until you start unpacking the why of it. Once I realized that I was just neglecting my own power and mental health (essentially re-victimizing myself and allowing any male I was with to abuse me the way my father had), it became an instant turn-off.

It should in no way be normalized. What should be normalized is men taking accountability for what they do to their daughters.

Supposedly daddy is from the sub/dom kink but I hear incest role play. It’s a name little children use to refer to their father when they are learning to talk. I wouldn’t put it past men to want to have sex with their daughters and role play that fantasy with some idiot pickme. Yes the woman is degrading herself. But it is worse than that imo. I never had a father growing up so I never really got to call anyone “Daddy” per se.

I was in a vulnerable state when I met my last ex as he reminded me “I got you when you were vulnerable”, he told me. So when he referred to himself as “Daddy” I got all giddy, excited and really liked it.

Before he revealed his true self and his fuckery truly started to shine through he was a great protector and provider for me and mine so I had no problem referring him to as that. After a while I started to realize that I’m not some needy little girl but a grown Woman with desires.

I had told him this and this is when he vigorously started to push me away and force me to break up with him because he was being disrespectful, rude and mistreating me to the highest order.

Not to mention that I started to have standards, wouldn’t put up with the garbage anymore and actively abandon my former pickmeisha ways.

My parents call each other “daddy” and “mommy” and I always just figured it was something parents called each other? It never had a sexual meaning until the internet made it a meme. To me it means she wants yo have a baby with the guy, so it’s sus.
