Yes!!! You made the right choice. While it's true that some professions, at least where I live, have to use a fake name on dating profiles (I had a friend who worked in the Ministry of Denfece and he used an alias) there is no reason for him to keep his identity from you when you have gotten to the point of meeting in real life. It's really sketchy and he had to share it waaaay before asking you on a date.

Ha! I had a guy give me a fake name before. It's so dumb because the voicemail says the real name. I don't understand what they're thinking. They would fail under witness protection.
