Apart from the fact that your reference is shitty, there is a huge problem with the definition of the terms "nice guy" and "bad boy." Needy guys aren't necessarily nice, and confident, physically fit men aren't necessarily bad boys. TRP assumes that nice = needy and masculine, confident, physically fit men = bad boys. In reality, that's simply not true at all.

TRP is incorrect because of concepts like "oldest teenager in the house" and the irrelevance and datedness of source material like The Manipulated Man. Combined with their tendency to exaggerate ideas to the point of parody, like the prevalance of the cock carousel or the harshness of the wall.

They don't have to be 100% wrong all the time to be generally misguided. So they stumbled onto basic concepts like improving physical appearance or women's attraction to confidence and independence. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

As for your actual post, you would have a stronger argument if you A) provided examples of blue pillers saying needy niceness is attractive, and B) you referenced more than one website.

elitedaily is a site that has tons of advice on being a sugar daddy and being a trophy wife. Some of the women who write articles for the site honestly sound like men pretending to be women, and others openly admit to being sugar babies or trophy wives.

Don't they invalidate TRPs existence? They always act as if no one ever told them that bad boys could be attractive, but mainstream media is chock full of attractive bad boys. They always pretend that they are good at noticing trends, but somehow they never noticed that exciting bad boy vs boring nice guy is one of the most common traits in popular media.

A woman writing an article that confirms some RP truths? This means that all of TRP is a hundred percent valid truth

A woman writing an article that goes against what TRP assumes about attraction? That lying bitch is just virtue signaling... gosh women are all the same

TBP isn't even denying that bad boys are attractive. We are denying that this is true for each and every woman.

The discussion isn't even about if they are attractive or not. The discussion is about if this is true for 20 or 80 percent of them.

those articles were written by traditional and conservative-minded people projecting their own personalities onto the world and linking to other Elite Daily articles as sources. its the same level of advice you'd get from Cosmo.

second link has some studies linked that mostly confirm "people like hooking up with attractive people but have more standards when it comes to personality for long-term." your linked article also glances over the part of the study saying "more than one half also reported a preference for a nice guy over a bad boy as a date."

To set aside the "nice guy" logic for a sec, I think that guys who tend to be kind of brash and inconsiderate on the surface probably appear a bit more confident than guys who are more sensitive and introverted. This isn't to say that introverted and sensitive guys aren't attractive to some women, but they don't stand out as much as a "bad boy" might.

If a guy is looking for a hookup, the one who has enough confidence to actually ask for what he wants is going to be more successful than the one who just hangs out and never makes a move.

All of these articles have common theme of wanting dominant men who know they are the shit. But they can't describe that personality without using the word bad boy.

Being confident in yourself is a huge turn on, but that's not a bad boy characteristic. Give a women a man who nonchalantly breaks things when they go to a restaurant and then their attitude will change.

Women want men who know their worth and are feeling themselves. On that note, being a needy son-bitch isn't a good trait.
