Sexism was already mainstream, but yes, it will probably become more mainstream.

On the other hand, radical leftism is on the rise. Its our turn to be the crazy fringe motherfuckers!

[–]trpobservereats ass 11 points12 points13 points 9 years ago (53 children) | Copy Link

Sexism was already mainstream

In America? Where?

Anti-sexism is the mainstream, and so is calling non-sexism sexism.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (51 children) | Copy Link

In America? Where?

Where? In America.

Example: a privileged minority of our voters decided that an inexperienced, unqualified man with dozens of well-substantiated rape accusations against him was a better candidate for President than an experienced, well-qualified woman. But nah, their genders had nothing to do with your not wanting to vote against "that bitch" who "sucks but not like Monica", amirite?

[–]prodigy2throw#Transracial 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (40 children) | Copy Link

But the mainstream media wouldn't stop talking about his "pussy" rant...

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (39 children) | Copy Link

And that didn't stop slightly-less-than-half of registered voters from voting for him, did it?

Are you upset because sexism, while mainstream, isn't literally the only public viewpoint?

[–]prodigy2throw#Transracial 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (38 children) | Copy Link

I think they voted for him because the didn't want Hillary and they were tired of being told why they are supposed to hate trump. Locker room talk shouldn't disqualify someone from the presidency.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (37 children) | Copy Link

Locker room talk

I'm a man, and somehow, I refrain from admitting to molesting women, in or out of locker rooms.

Fuck off with your "admitting to sexual assault is just locker room talk bro" bullshit.

[–]prodigy2throw#Transracial 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (36 children) | Copy Link

Dude. He was saying because he's rich and famous he fucks women he normally wouldn't be able to. If you want proof of that, look at his wife. He wouldn't have got her if he wasn't famous.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (34 children) | Copy Link

Why are you trying to speak for Trump? He speaks pretty well for himself:

“Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”

“Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

Not looking for consent, not even waiting to see if it might be offered. And "when you're a star", you can do anything you want to women and they can't defend themselves.

Like I said: fuck off saying this is "locker room banter". I'm a man, and I don't brag about committing sexual assault. And fuck you for saying that I and all other men talk or act like this. Fucking misandrist.

[–]prodigy2throw#Transracial 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (28 children) | Copy Link

I'm not saying locker room talk means admitting to sexual assault. I'm saying when men get together in privacy they brag and embellish facts and reality.

[–]cxj75% Redpill Core Ideas 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Key phrase here is they let you do it

Aka not sexual assault

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He was saying because he's rich and famous he fucks women he normally wouldn't be able to. If you want proof of that, look at his wife. He wouldn't have got her if he wasn't famous.

If this isn't a yes to you OP, I don't know what is.

[–]trpobservereats ass 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

inexperienced, unqualified

Subjective. He's way more qualified than Hillary, which honestly doesn't even say much because I'd trust a toddler or a cat to be more qualified than Hillary.

well-substantiated rape accusations

Which coincidentally showed up after he was running for president. Not in agreement on the "well-substantiated" thing either.

experienced, well-qualified woman

Her "experience" showed her to be a dishonest, corrupt politician, which actually means that yes she was very well qualified to join the ranks of her friends, but personally I'm not a fan of voting for basically the perfect symbol of the status quo.

their genders had nothing to do with your not wanting to vote against "that bitch" who "sucks but not like Monica", amirite?

Yes, you are right. I've never heard the phrase "sucks but not like Monica" until you said it.

Its amazing when looking at Hillary Clinton as a person, as a politician, you conclude that the only reason people could possibly dislike her is that she has a vagina. Including all the women who voted for Trump.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

By most qualified, you mean the most corrupt politician running for president in america's history, right?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Nah brah, I mean the candidate with relevant job experience and a track record of success. But she's a woman, so, y'know...better play it safe and get the only sore winner in American election history.

[–]The-os 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Go take another sip of your bottle, you're acting like a crybaby, damn. If Trump truly is that much of a fuck up it says a whole lot about Clinton. You're picking the coward way by throwing it all on sexism.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If Trump truly is that much of a fuck up it says a whole lot about Clinton

Yes, it really does. It tells us that she's a woman, and this country still wasn't ready for that even when the alternative was the worst Presidential candidate in American history. It was a very informative episode for progressives throughout the country: despite how far the country has come in the past couple of decades, we still have a long, long way to go.

[–]The-os 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Of course it is. She is the most perfect candidate ever seen!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Do you believe that someone has to believe Clinton is "the best candidate ever seen" in order to think she's a better candidate than someone with no qualifications, numerous conflicts of interest, and a subservient relationship with our largest geopolitical rival?

[–]The-os 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

She was not the better candidate.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Anti-sexism (lol what a term) is what artists and culture commentators want and discuss a lot, but sexism is still the norm in society.

[–]5th_Law_of_Robotics 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sexism was already mainstream

Misandry yes. But I don't see how Trump would address that. He, like feminists, seems more inclined to dismiss the complaints of men with "don't be a pussy".

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (34 children) | Copy Link

You mean like Bernie Sanders?

It seems like radical anything ends badly. For example, Hitler and Nazism were parts of the radical right, whereas Stalin and Soviet Union were on the radical left. Both resulted in mass murder and dictatorship. Different paths arriving at the same end.

[–]Princeso_Bubblegum☭ The real red pill ☭ 7 points8 points9 points 9 years ago (27 children) | Copy Link

You mean like Bernie Sanders?

Bernie Sanders is not radical in any way, he's a Social Democrat, which is the standard left-wing position in Europe.

Also that's a nice reductionist piece of clap trap you have there. What the best position is always in the middle? You do realize the golden mean is a fallacy right? If this was the 1800s someone would be a moderate on slavery if they said "we need a healthy balance of freedom and slavery."

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

What are you talking about? Are you a leftist that's butthurt that Stalin was also a leftist?

What I state is not opinion. It's fact. Look it up.

[–]Princeso_Bubblegum☭ The real red pill ☭ 6 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Are you a leftist that's butthurt that Stalin was also a leftist?

No I really don't care, I actually admire Stalin in some aspects (however I will admit he did some mighty fucked up things).

Also the Kulaks deserved it.

What I state is not opinion. It's fact. Look it up.

Saying Hilter = Stalin is in fact an opinion, the men were very different in their ideology in almost every facet besides the fact that they were Authoritarian

fucking liberal

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I'm definitely not a liberal.

In fact, I love Russia now. Putin is an idol of mine. I'm hoping we develop a closer relationship with them.

I'm definitely not a liberal.

You're so deep in Liberalism, that you don't know you are a liberal.

In fact, I love Russia now. Putin is an idol of mine. I'm hoping we develop a closer relationship with them.

So you are complaining about authoritarians like Hilter and Stalin, and then turn around and have a man-crush on Putin? Ok then lol

Seriously?

Do you liberals: - hate feminism - hate poor people/welfare - hate Obamacare - love Trump's cabinet picks - love free market capitalism

I'm not even a moderate Republican. I'm pretty hard right.

Bernie Sanders is not radical in any way, he's a Social Democrat, which is the standard left-wing position in Europe.

No one cares about Europe the world circles around the US.

[–]Princeso_Bubblegum☭ The real red pill ☭ 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

What is radical is not culturally relative, and certainly not relative to the american perspective. Nothing about what Sanders rallied for was radical in any way.

[–]AzzmoRed 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'd argue that the his immigration policies are extremely radical. It's just that we live in a world where most media has conditioned many to feel that this kind of rhetoric is humane and appropriate.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nothing about what Sanders rallied for was radical in any way.

Not to Europe, it is to the US. People in the US are just warming up to the idea of universal healthcare. The rest of Bernie's platform won't be welcomed by most of America. This is besides how his idea to pay for it would never work.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Shazoa 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Probably should care. Liberal democracies in Europe manage lower crime rates, higher productivity, reduced recidivism, greater equality, smaller wage gaps and greater self reported happiness than the US. They manage to do this and have a competent, realistic strategy on drugs with lower rates of addiction. They manage lower homelessness and support/shelters for those who are. Free and cheaper healthcare per head.

Europe gets plenty right and plenty wrong, just like America does. It's wise for us all to learn from eachother.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Probably should care.

Didn't get the joke did you?

higher productivity

Barely least by OECD data.

They manage lower homelessness

Their homeless and more so poverty and jobless rates are often fudged to look better than they are.

Free and cheaper healthcare per head.

Free as in large sum of your paycheck pays for it. And its cheaper now but its hard to say it remain such in the near future as all of the EU healthcare costs are going up.

[–]Shazoa 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Barely least by OECD data.

I'm not sure what you mean? By pretty much anyone's reckoning the top spot for productivity is taken by a European state. Not gonna lie, the USA is up there too but there are definitely places that do it better. OECD data for 2015 puts the entire Eurozone ahead of the USA in productivity though. With parts of it obviously dragging down the average.

Their homeless and more so poverty and jobless rates are often fudged to look better than they are.

Can you give an example of that? In the UK, I can tell you in quite some detail how the data paints a better picture than there is, but that's true of every state: the government has a vested interest in making things seem better. That's no different in the USA.

Free as in large sum of your paycheck pays for it.

Countries like the UK pay less per head of taxpayer money into the NHS than Americans do into their health services. That's before the patient has to pay costs as well.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I'm not sure what you mean?

That the difference in productivity isn't that great. EU is 105 GDP hours worked vs 101.6 for the US. Not exactly much of a difference. Only Ireland exceeds everyone else with 134.1 hours, but I wager that it is a "fluke" and more has to do with that country economically

Can you give an example of that?

Why would you ask for examples of it when you even admit of it happening? Kinda confusing.

Countries like the UK pay less per head of taxpayer money into the NHS than Americans do into their health services.

Someone forgot to do the currency exchange. Using the 84.10 example from here that translates to 104.45 (US) or 104 for eaiser math. This is per week mind you. The average monthly premium cost in the US is 235.27. I don't think I need to do the math to show that you spend more on healthcare.

[–]Shazoa 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Again, the EU figure is dragged down substantially by some member states. I did point that out. Other member states are even further ahead of the US with the greatest differences seen in the most liberal countries. This is just further establishing my point.

Why would you ask for examples of it when you even admit of it happening? Kinda confusing

I ask for examples because there's nothing to suggest the figures aren't equally as reliable anywhere else. The homelessness figures are fairly accurate, for example, across the Atlantic because the same fluffing is prevalent.

And I forgot nothing. I said the US, as in its government, pays more per head for healthcare. I'm not even talking about premiums or insurance here. That's on top of the government tax money spent on healthcare.

http://www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/press-releases/2015/oct/us-spends-more-on-health-care-than-other-nations

Health care consumed 17.1 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2013, about 50 percent more than any other country. Despite being the only country in the study without universal health care coverage, government spending on health care in the U.S.—mainly for Medicare and Medicaid—was high as well, at $4,197 per person in 2013. By comparison, the U.K., where all residents are covered by the National Health Service, spent $2,802 per person.

Its massively inefficient.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I did point that out.

I know you did. But its really not that heavily drag down as you think.

Other member states are even further ahead of the US with the greatest differences seen in the most liberal countries.

Again the difference even there isn't that great. Norway (arguably the most liberal) is 102.5 hours vs US 101.6 for the US. Barely any difference. And Denmark another very liberal country is 105.1.

I ask for examples because there's nothing to suggest the figures aren't equally as reliable anywhere else.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/household-bills/10170108/Government-takes-1m-out-of-fuel-poverty-by-changing-the-rules.html

http://www.newstatesman.com/economics/employment/2013/02/decoding-unemployment-figures-exposes-truth-behind-coalitions-spin

I said the US, as in its government, pays more per head for healthcare.

I thought you meant people. If its government then we are talking Medicare which is $9,990 per person (2015) making up of 17.8% of the GDP. NHS in the UK costs £5,000 or $6,213.50 per person. I am not saying the US system is efficient, I know its not. But roughly a $3k gap between the US and the UK isn't huge either. Mind you every single country with single payer is having cost issues right now and have issues funding it and keeping costs down.

His current wife is 25 years younger than him....

[–]Blaat1985 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The guy has zero frame control. How you decribe a man as Red Pill who lacks one of the core tennets of the Red Pill is beyond me.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Depends on how his presidency goes. If he fucks up, the swinging voters will turn against him and his authoritarian views. If he does give a perception of "making America great" then swinging voters will be on his side.

Bush fucked up. People turned against such bull-headed views.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Its not just the swing voters, its also republican voters. As republican voters where unhappy with the GOP status quo. Some republicans did voted for Hillary this election. But if Trump fails to deliver he won't have their vote for next term.

[–]aznphenix 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nah, if he doesn't fuck up too badly, the republicans that still don't want whoever ends up being the Democratic nominee then will still vote him in.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They won't vote for a democrat they just won't vote. This election had the lowest voter turnout least since Bill was president.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Bush was definitely not red pill.

[–]ProbablyBelievesIt 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because his speechwriters wrote bluepill things for him to say?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What was he then? And why?

[–]Princeso_Bubblegum☭ The real red pill ☭ 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

even with bush's fuck ups he got 8 years though :/

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True. But few people remember him fondly. The world is still dealing with his "shock and awe" war.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

is authoritarian views.

Which ones are those?

Because so far, the only ones acting in a non-democratic way are those who lost the election.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

no, we're about to enter a golden age of liberal activism. the left has been asleep at the wheel for the last 8 years, Trump is helping them find their soul in an even bigger way than Bush did. his divisive tone is paving the way for a new age of leftist politics... in fact it's so blatant that I thought he was a false flag candidate during the primaries.

most people who voted for Trump did so out of economic concerns. many of them are already disappointed in him for saying he won't press charges against Hillary and for being so cavalier about climate change. if he fails to "bring jobs back" and revert us at least partially to a manufacturing economy his whole alt-right populist movement will be seen as and associated with failure. a flash in the pan. he made some lofty claims.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. The only RP views going "mainstream" are

--marriage is a shitty deal for men

--AFBB/dual mating strategy

Both of these are "mainstream" only because they're so prevalent that even Blues can't deny them anymore.

AFBB has always existed. The difference is that it's more pronounced and more women are engaging in it because they can and because of sexual deregulation.

Honestly, I'm far less concerned with that than I am with the economy, environment and global stability.

But who knows. Trump might be in office, but that has been a replying cry for many liberal institutions, public and private. We'll see the results play out in real time.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Horseshoe theory is lazy bullshit. It's like using a very simplified infographic image to sell people on whatever can be jockeyed as "moderate". Usually some kind of conservatism (lol "middle") or Clintonite centrism.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

eh, i have my doubts. he was already pretty public to begin with and it didn't make much of a difference, far as i can tell.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, but now he's in a much different capacity.

Before, he was more of a sideshow. Now he's front and center....and in a very serious capacity.

Winning the presidency pretty much legitimized any view that he has.

Either way, this is a very interesting time in history.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago* (9 children) | Copy Link

what do you think he's going to do, make red pill law? i don't think he has any new abilities in this regard than he had before. winning the presidency has absolutely not legitimized his views to everyone, either.

[–]exit_sandmanstill not the MGTOW sandman FFS 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The feminine imperative hasn't been made a law either, and still it deeply affects our everyday lives. Feminism has basically hijacked the general narrative regarding gender relations in the West (the fact that gender studies is pretty much the academic arm of feminism instead of a neutral and scientific discipline drives that point home).

Now if you get a president who, despite being not just a shitlord, but the Supreme Shitoverlord, got elected into office; this indeed may contribute to breaking the spell of political correctness. Add to this the fact that the majority of the segment of the population that is the base of feminism (white women) voted for him despite all his sexist shenanigans - it's not too far-fetched that this makes people think "hey, if Trump got away with stuff like that and was even made president, am I really in a minority if I hold similar opinions?"

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

obviously, i don't agree.

[–]exit_sandmanstill not the MGTOW sandman FFS 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, that's what safe spaces are for.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

what a weird thing to say.

[–]acecutty2 points 9 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

LOL getting a little extreme there.

Also, terrible grammar.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

excellent rebuttal. right in line with the nonsense of the OP and your other comments.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Your post was nonsensical. How was I supposed to respond to it?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

it wasn't nonsensical just because you didn't like it. fantasize elsewhere if you can't handle disagreement or criticism.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Did I say anything about Trump making me a king?

It would certainly be nice to be king, but that's not realistic or possible.

My question is simply how Trump will alter mainstream thinking in terms of red pill thinking. Obviously, it was headed in that direction anyway or Trump wouldn't have gotten elected in the first place.

[–]PoopInMyBottomNot Red 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No.

Trump promotes Christian conservative values, which only align superficially with TRP. If anything, it will reduce TRP's popularity, because he's promoting a competing ideology.

As for his behaviour? I doubt it. The message most people are getting about trump is that women find him unattractive. They see him as creepy and predatory and old.

I don't think anybody is going to try to model the guy to get laid. The tactic I usually see is that people do the opposite. They bash him to try and get girls to like them.

[–]Nagicman1 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Donald Trump seems to have validated a lot of people's shitty views. Also there is nothing red pill about trump, the red pill is the bitter truth like climate change being real, what most red pill guys believe is actually blue pill coping.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Who gives a fuck about climate change? I believe that it's real, but I don't care about that.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Donald Trump is an idiot and I don't know why TRP has such a boner for them. Honestly that's part of the reason I rethought a lot of TRP.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't know why TRP has such a boner for them.

I guess because of feminism.

Donald Trump is a nimrod, but he's a weapon against feminism. Trump is a toxic as some parts of feminism are.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And I think you defend him because you hate women more than you'd like to admit.

So it's a stalemate.

[–]wubooAlpha Blue Pill 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Unfortunately, quite likely.
