That's because he didn't want to give this sub traffic. There's nothing covert or scheming about that.

This is very good practice in manipulative language. Before readers even get the chance to consider whether TRP is misogynistic, or hateful, they are confronted with an extremist opinion that is obviously untrue (the notions that they support rape and could be abusers).

He first mentions being misogynist and hateful before the latter extreme language.

Even so, it simply has the function of defining the range of accusations.

The quotations around 'rational', as if all that is argued here is anything but.

Strong assumption. To me, it seems like he merely thinks we're wasting our time and efforts surrounding ourselves within an environment that shames TRP and pushes an agenda of conformity.

Not really. Red Pill theory is diluted when you constantly throw emotional arguments at why it's wrong in the main sub.

Look man, the TRPers who do come here are likely even more set in their ways from this debate, I know I am. It allows the cogs in my own head to turn and be better off in the bloopy world in general. This is my simulation. It allows me to verbalize the abstract information in my mind and put it to physicality.

Is this sub fruitless in terms of changing anyone's mind? Likely. But it's also a fun mental exercise and sandbox for interaction without consequence in a bloopy world.

I don't like anyone just dismissing competing claims but every single movement has people who do this. The groups that are polar opposites to TRP are just as bad, if not worse for censoring and attacking people for their potential motives rather than their arguments.

So yeah, it's a mild black mark. I don't think it should shift anyone's perspective from red pill to blue pill though.

I have seen a lot of posts here, that to me, seem like ham fisted attempts at rhetoric. Like " Why does TRP hate women." along those lines. So, it is at least partially accurate.

I've found that for me, as a Terper, spending time on PPD has merely reinforced a lot of the ideas initially put forth by TRP. An example of this would be just how faulty the typical dating advice for men is and how much the system will penalize guys who seek out advice for their problems. I might not agree with everything TRP states but I would rather have them lead the dialog over the BPers who would shame men for even asking questions to begin with.

TRP may have saved my life. I have COPD, and I'm a tuberculosis survivor. Motivation to improve my relationship with my daughter's mother led me to TRP, and their theory put me on a good track.

I've quit smoking because (only what I tell myself here -- this isn't meant for anybody else) I'm not some little bitch who can't handle two days of withdraw. I've been working out, and I've gone from coughing up buckets every other morning to having stamina and strength like I haven't seen since my early twenties. I've never seen gains this quickly, and I feel like I'm looking better than ever.

I'm more confident. In business dealings, any time a woman is present, suddenly I see better outcomes. Though I have no intention of pursuing anything with anyone new, I feel better about myself because I catch women checking me out in public.

But let's go back to the most important part. I can breath again. And the motivation to put in the work for this came from a desire to reassert my masculinity to make my ol' lady's gina tingle. Thanks to TRP, maybe I'll actually live to see my daughter grow up.

TRP is sexist. Absolutely. But trpers love women, or they wouldn't be so obsessed with how to attract them. TRP doesn't cater to women's sensibilities because it isn't for women. It's that simple. It's not going to kiss your ass because it's not for you.

If you look hard enough at anything, you can find bad. Especially if you simply refuse to acknowledge the good. TRP works if it's used correctly. That's what matters.

No, no, no, no, no, a thousand times no. The first rule about RP is don't talk about RP. The reason it is only, and ought to be only, talked about on that sub has nothing to do with censorship and everything to do with nothing good coming of discussing it with society at large. People post topics on that forum all the time about introducing others to RP, and get the same reply each time: don't.

That's why, while I find it fun to browse this sub-red, I very rarely contribute anything, because I don't find contributing to PPD a very useful exercise. I know the bulk of people on this forum disagree with me about most things, and that's absolutely fine, I can take criticism. I just think that nothing good comes of openly discussing RP with people who don't have a set of life experiences.

Most people who come to RP are like me: they don't come because a friend pulled them aside and had a conversation about it with them. Most of them come to RP from google. Most of us come because we saw something, or dealt with something, or had an experience that told us, in so many words, that the world was a lie. We turned to google to find answers, and stumbled upon the RP. Many RP guys didn't want to believe it at first, I know I didn't. RP exists for only one reason: its explanative power. If RP didn't give men a lens through which they which they could understand past experiences and do better with future ones, it would lose its base. No one would come to it, if it didn't work.

Consequently, discussing it with people who don't subscribe to it is an exercise in foolishness. There is an old saying that when the student is ready, the master will appear. You cannot take RP, and it will seem ridiculous, until you've had a real life experience that forces you to wake up. For most of my life, I never would have accepted RP, you can't have someone talk you through it, because most people are conditioned from birth to reject it out of hand. You cannot begin to understand it until your own life experience causes you to want to open your eyes.

RP doesn't make people misogynistic, hate women or believe anything. Experience comes first, then confusion, then understanding. RP doesn't go to and convert anyone, RP finds converts that come to it. As long as there is google, and as long as there are men who are deeply confused about women and who desperately want answers (for me, it was never "how do I get girls?" for me, I just wanted an explanation that made sense) the RP will continue to grow.

RP gave me a framework to understand my own life. After I started reading through it, thing became clear. Things I never understood before suddenly made perfect sense. It helped me. I don't hate anyone, its just that I wanted to know why things seemed to be so unfair. To me, someone turning me down for a date, and then saying "it is not in my self interest to go out on a date with you." Is a perfectly, 100% reasonable answer. I can accept that. Its just no one told me that until RP. I've asked girls who turned me down before why they did, and I never got an answer that could help me.

I think you're misinterpreting the whole thing. I doubt he has a problem with PPD, he may even like it.

He's saying that PPD is beside the point when it comes to accusations made about TRP. He's saying that the people who will calmly debate things with you aren't the ones who are the problem.

The problem is people who aren't interested in debate or thought, but who wish to use words like rapist, misogynist, etc, to shame, ostracize, etc people in the TRP community, and he says that PPD is beside the point because you will find none of those people in PPD.

I already admitted that rp is a sexist and misogynistic, how can it not be? It exists and the definition of misogyny is that it has to exist or can be thought or misinterpreted as such, the same goes for sexism. If we would take a real definition then it would be different but who care about reality when it feels wrong?

Yeah I think this is a case of safer to dismiss/ridicule it than legitimize it by responding seriously. It's true that almost no one has had their position reversed from debating here, but I think it probably encourages some users to question a bit more and maybe take the core sub's teachings with a (bigger) grain of salt.

As someone who is "on the fence", PPD has only ever made me more sided with red than with blue. Don't forget PPD is full of blue pillers, who (90% of the time) fail miserably at presenting counter arguments to TRP and quite often set themselves up to have their asses verbally handed to them by Terpers.

I once wrote a post on there linking to a fake r subreddit as a joke. The auto moderator bot automatically removes posts linking to other subreddits, even if they aren't real. I believe you can only do r/redpill links and was probably why ppd wasnt linked.

I regularly see top comments that disagree with the OPs of various threads.

Afraid of Red Pill concepts being discussed on a forum where the Red Pill moderation team cannot swiftly remove posts and ban users who disagree with their narrow world view.

Maybe they just don't want to be bothered with dissenters while they are trying to figure things out. The whole concept of the red pill is still pretty new in the grand scheme of ideologies. They can get their fair share of scrutiny from like-minded people as opposed to people who are trying to shoot the whole thing down.

He is addressing people that inject social justice terms like misogynist in order to gain power over a situation, even though those terms might not be felt by people in the scenario.

Example:

A feminist, says a white male is fetishizing and objectifying his Japanese girlfriend, even though neither him nor his girlfriend feels they are being fetishized or objectified. The term carries no meaning here, and is just meant for the male to submit to the feminist.

There's a lot in this post that leads me to believe you don't know what you're talking about. For example, one of your key points is that PPD was not directly linked to -- you don't have to be very familiar with TRP's sub to know that you can't link anywhere on reddit from it.

Anyone with passing familiarity of this sub and the material it discusses would know that these are routine accusations against TRP. Read a little more before you waste more effort writing uninformed posts.
