This is a blatant double standard, no?

Um... he tweets and talks about her CONSTANTLY.

He constantly disparages her unprovokingly.

In fact she only responded because he talked about her and her kid. .

It's not a double standard if he starts it 45x over.

If he doesn't want her talking shit, he shouldn't talk shit about her every chance he gets.

It's obvious to Twitter and everyone else he's still in love/or obsessed with her. He made a whole album dedicated to her.

If I were Kim, I would be more upset that my husband brings up his very attractive ex on a regular basis.

If I were Kim, I would be more upset that my husband has dedicated albums to a former fiance, a former GF, his daughter... but no Kim. O_O

revenge porn is the distribution of compromising photos or videos. this comprises illegal distribution of copyrighted material, assuming the owner of the images did not consent to having them posted publicly or otherwise spread around. if the person was underage in the image it also constitutes child pornography, which is an even bigger shitstorm. in addition to these legal charges, the offended person can also sue you for slander, libel, and defamation if indeed you were spreading their image maliciously. it then also becomes a civil issue.

saying shit about someone falls under free speech. saying that person is a lying asshole also falls under free speech. there are no laws protecting you from being insulted in a public forum, but you can sue someone for slander if you feel they have maliciously spread false information about you... but thats a civil issue, not a legal one.

The Supreme Court ruled that prior restraint of speech is illegal. You can't tell people not to say something. If they do say something about you that is false and malicious, you can bring a case against them. But you have to prove the statement is false, which is difficult to prove.

And hell, it's probably true. So no case. Also public figures have a high bar in America for a defamation.

Also the bar is higher for public figures.

I think it's messed up for people to be condoning and even encouraging this woman to talk shit about her ex (even if it is Kanye). As far as a difference though, gossip can be pretty bad, but it's still just unverifiable rumors... pictures/video leave less question as to their validity and can therefore be more damaging. Right now it seems he's denying the claims; this would be much harder if there was a video of him squealing while getting a finger up his butt.

IMHO kanye was way out of line claiming that the only reason sebastian (wiz's son) even existed was because of him. by that same logic kk (kim kardashian lel) entire career could be atributed to ray j's penor.

I think for the most part the general public will side with amber in spite of her "breach of confidentiality" because kanye resorted to personal attacks whereas wiz khalifa was just expressing an opinion.
