I've admittedly always disliked the club scene. From my experience the girls are always high maintainance and the place is usually too jam-packed with thirst to do anything. I've had more luck picking up girls on the street than I have in a club.

Is this some American cultural thing to go to stripclubs with your friends? In my country at least stripclubs are way too expensive and it is almost impossible to get any friends to go there - they see them as a complete waste of time, all prick tease and not a chance of getting anything.
