Something we don't talk about much is guys who are, a la Zoolander, "really, really, ridiculously goodlooking."

We tend to think of looks as a linear scale as opposed to a spectrum with advantages and disadvantages that create biases and patterns of behavior. As a guy who has taken the redpill after being a model (in Italy), with a 99th percentile IQ and %2'er income, here are some observations to consider:

  1. If you were born goodlooking, the beta is probably strong in you because of how you were raised. When you can get things with charm, you don't build the habits of work and discipline the same way as other people. Also, you have been rewarded for something you have no control over, so much of your self esteem comes from something fundamentally insecure. Not your fault, but check it. You are also an immediate threat to other men who see you coming and try to undermine your status. You have probably survived by compensating for this by becoming extra beta around other men. It's the emotional version of a tall person who slouches. A guy who is goodlooking with corporate status is almost guaranteed to be beta as fuck, because the only way he survived was by showing how unthreatening he was. Now that you've swallowed the pill, you are going to have to be ready to back up the threat that your looks present. You no longer have a choice.

  2. You are probably in the habit of giving up your natural power over women by returning the attention they give you by being polite or charming. You may not think of yourself as vain, but as soon as you accept their fawning, they own you and they know it. If a woman compliments you on anything other than what you have accomplished, it's a power play. I've said this before but, if you wouldn't take it from an employee, don't take it from a woman.

  3. Reverse Halo Effect: people think you are naturally better at everything because your natural charisma makes it look cool, but when your performance is just average (like everyone), they blame you for letting them fool themselves. If you have weird interpersonal and professional relationship breakdowns at the 6mo-1year mark, this is why. Become your frame and this will solve itself.

3.5. When you are attractive, people want to see themselves reflected positively by you. If you don't give it to them, they feel rejected and behave psychotically. Model chicks get this all the time. Their physical security depends on filtering out guys who put them pedestals and freak out when they aren't validated by the girl. Learn to make people feel comfortable and accepted by you, and you will be treated like a royalty. If you are aloof or self involved, they will topple you like royalty.

  1. Goodlooking guys don't do as well in business because they aren't seen as leaders by other men. Women often end up isolating these guys in companies by clustering around them like antibodies around a virus. Your power (and real SMV) comes from your ability to form relationships and have status among other men, never lose sight of that or let women get in the way. Female co-workers aren't plates, they aren't friends, and they aren't on your team. Your success depends on your relationships with other men. Never get sucked into the female pecking order. It's a trap. Disengage.

  2. Don't be too funny/smart, especially if you are. A lot of high-SMV(9,10), successful, rich chicks won't sleep with ridiculously goodlooking guys because they can't handle the risk of rejection from a guy who is an equal or on a pedestal to them. She doesn't care what a thug or an alpha "asshole" guy thinks of her, so she will do what she wants with him. Less goodlooking guys can be funny as hell without triggering her fear of judgement. Your looks aren't always an advantage. Adjust your game accordingly.

TL;DR No matter what you look like, f you are self made and keep frame, you can do way better than someone with natural "talent" who is undisciplined.
