I’ve never had that issue irl. As I’ve gotten older it’s the women that seem to rush and the get mad at me for not putting out in a week.

Some ‘men’ (man boys) don’t like the word no. Probably because they haven’t heard it enough growing up. I agree, just move on.

I mean I was a retard at the time, well still am actually, but even more so at the time. I was dating a girl for about 4 months. For 3 of those months she promised next time next time next time. We do. I've posted many times that women wanting to wait for sex beyond a few dates is a fundamental compatibility issue for me.

This is a forum to discuss dating "strategy" and practices. Some women have an idea that they "need" to make a man wait even if they want him. That's not true.

What don't you understand in statement that a guy has to invest financially in dates and all that jazz for each girl separately to have a shot with sex. Sure, he can move on if he can afford it and has options in the first place. Most guys have neither as we live in fucked up economy.

Because a good sex life is a key component of a serious relationship. Before I decide whether or not I want to actually get to know you deeply as opposed to just casual or friendly, I need to know if a core part of the relationship will work out. The thing about sex is that it's everything until it's the only thing. If we're going to have incompatible libidos, styles, tastes, bodies, I want to know soon so I know we're going to be at most friends, rather than put in months of effort into romancing someone who was doomed to be a dead end anyway. Not to mention the accumulated pent up frustration and disappointment at when the first sex in months if not a year or longer depending on time spent single and unable to get that far into a relationship turns out to be shit.

If she gave it up easily and quickly for Chad in the past, but makes this man wait much longer, that's where I can see guys getting upset. If the woman is entering a new phase of life and now wanta to marry, and holds ALL men to the same waiting standard to ensure they're serious about potential marriage down the road, I feel that's ok.

There's nothing wrong with making a guy wait for sex... if the marketplace is fair for both sexes. But do you think that is the case in modern times? An era where women are shameless about their hypergamous instincts?

But the reality of the matter is, for a guy, its a heavy investment in terms of effort, work, money and thought put into attracting a woman to like him. For them, there's obstacles in nearly every steps in the dating process.

For example, let me simplify the process so that we can see the issues:

Learn the intricacies of the dating game (easy)
Work on his personality, his looks, his attitude, etc and to make sure he is presentable so that women shows interest towards him (intermediate)
Put himself in a situation where women notices him (intermediate)
Get the woman to talk with him (intermediate)
Make the woman engaged with him and make her like him (hard)
Close the deal, get her number, and get laid or get a girlfriend (extra hard)

As you can see, a guy has five different points of failure he has to overcome to be a potential suitor or get her to have sex with him. And girls have 90% of the power in all the above points.

So guy looks at this, and sees how unfair this game of dating is skewed towards women like this,(I mean, he HAS to go through the above 5 steps again and again with every women he meet) so he gathers around with other men who face similar problem, and find optimized solution that turns the favor from women into men.

He finds the optimum solution to this skewed up game where he sets the rules of the game that he follows it to the T. And one of these rules is to get sex out of the system first as a confirmation that she does indeed like him and is not stringing him along. It still has its downsides for both parties though which is a topic for another thread.

Not to be cliche here, but... you live in a society sweetheart. In a society, the actions of others also influence the lives of people who live in the said society.

Isn't it ironic that your "solution" to this problem is to point at sexual market place and think its helping you? If enough women are expected to have sex within first 3 dates, then it becomes the defined expectation from women in the society.

What are you going to do if 7/10 men you meet have this expectation? Sooner or later, you got to cave in
