Although the tone around here is generally on a serious level, there's just a brief nitpick/observation I'd like to make today. I'm sitting here dripping in sweat after yet another satisfying workout. Today was my back and bicep split day, and I sprinkled in a little cardio to top off the session.

But I digress.

One thing I've been noticing lately is that women do not clean their weight bars. It's like an epidemic. Once she finishes her last half-assed set of half-assed squats, she just leaves the rack loaded with annoying little 5- and 10-lb weights, buries her face in her iPhone, and just strolls her little ass off to the exercise bikes, completely oblivious to the world. Then either a man or the gym staff will have to go in behind her to clean the bars and re-rack the dumbbells.

I started getting annoyed at this today, until I remembered the old Red Pill maxim: women need to be treated like children. See, how would she know to clean off the weight bars and put her dumbbells back on the racks? Her whole life, she's had somebody running behind her to clean her messes up. When she was a little girl, mommy was cleaning her room. When she was a teenager in HS, boys were fixing her mess of grades by doing her homework for her. And now as a grown woman, she expects much of the same privilege that comes with being a pretty female. And when she doesn't, she gets frustrated at the mess she's stuck with and throws a temper tantrum.

So men, it is incumbent upon you to do society (and your local gym) a favor, and train your woman to clean off their weight bars and re-rack their weights. Otherwise, before you know it, your local gym starts to look like your girlfriend's bedroom did when she was a little girl and mommy had to work late, and couldn't clean up after her messes.

See, since her daddy is out of the picture now, or never was in the picture in the first place, it is now incumbent upon you to be her stoic rock of guidance.

This does not mean re-racking her weights for her. Train your women to re-rack their weights. If not for your sake, for JP's and everyone else's sake. She was strong and empowered enough to load the bar, she can be strong and empowered enough to unload the bar.
