“That is the type of feminazi bullshit that has ruined our society” LMAO

[–]ninetiesbaby16Eat Hot Chip and Lie27 points28 points29 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

This is almost accurate except red pill women aren’t that attractive. (I know a few in real life). It’s sad but they’re always very unfortunate looking, which is the whole reason why they need to larp as a submissive 1950s caricatures. Women who are average and above don’t need to contort themselves into a 2 dimensional porn fantasy to get a nice boyf who treats them ok.

[–]pandora_box-5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That sounds like something a beta would tell himself because RPW only want to date alphas. I know plenty of attractive red-pilled women. The attractive ones just tend to have strong vetting skills because they can afford to so they’re less likely to complain about the dating market or come off like a 1950s caricature.

[–]ninetiesbaby16Eat Hot Chip and Lie0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You make it sound like the pretty ones are the outliers.

[–]Mr_Cleenincel slayer0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Kinda based ngl. And also unfortunately accurate. The red pilled girl I know kinda looks like a beluga whale with a platinum blonde wig on lmao

There's a guy here named Red who would like to meet her ...

[–]Mr_Cleenincel slayer0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She’s married. At 19 no less. With her second kid on the way

You don't know multiple rpw women irl.

[–]ninetiesbaby16Eat Hot Chip and Lie0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

And you know that because?

[–]XtoDoubtMen Do It Too1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

There are so few rp women. The chances of you knowing multiple is zero.

[–]ninetiesbaby16Eat Hot Chip and Lie1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You trip over them at church lol

[–]XtoDoubtMen Do It Too0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You're thinking of tradcon women, which is different.

[–]ninetiesbaby16Eat Hot Chip and Lie1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I mean they dress like 1950s and have their hair in victory rolls and are talk about being red pilled

[–]XtoDoubtMen Do It Too0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are a lot of uses of the term red pilled that have nothing to do with sexuality. Clothing style has nothing to do with it, either.

[–]typicalpersian7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Following RPW turned me into an emotionally volatile doormat so I left the community. That was during 2016-2018 when I too fell captive to the alt-right YouTube algorithm (it all started with an innocent lib-owning compilation) and I would’ve paid to suck Shapiro or Crowder’s dick. FDS helped me calibrate myself back to normal.

[–]rft242 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

my experience has been the exact opposite. i was an emotionally volatile doormat until i found red pill yt channels & online forums. i didn’t start seeing success in my relationships until i started following some of their advice. i have a sorta hybrid that works for me now.

it’s true though, you gotta find a balance cuz following one extreme just leads to more bullshit.

that being said, it’s great that you’ve found what works for you! i think the best thing women can do (feminist or not) is support women having the freedom to decide what kind of lifestyle she wants to live. you wanna live the tradcon life? go for it! you want a 50/50, totally equal relationship? go for it! you wanna be hypergamous & won’t marry a man who makes less than a 6-figure salary? go for it! you wanna be the breadwinner who’s sahd househusband has the house clean & dinner fresh off the stove when you get home from work? go for it! you wanna be a forever girlfriend? go for it! you wanna be married at 20? go for it!

i may not agree with all of them, but i can be happy for women who are happy with whatever lifestyle they chose. i hate when women hate on other women for choosing to live differently than them, especially feminists.

[–]typicalpersian0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Totally agreed - to each their own. I think both sides can agree on respecting yourself (even if that “respect” is subjective to each person) and not fucking around haha

RPW always gets hate but it really helped me make my relationship 100 times better. RPW helped show me how to communicate and be a better GF. I never realized how the things I was saying/doing might have been perceived. I don’t follow it religiously, and I take everything with a grain of salt. It’s not the best if you are trying to find a man, but great if trying to improve a relationship.

[–]Solivigent6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago* (39 children) | Copy Link

STFU is not communication. And completely altering the original message, as well as having to sprinkle sugar on one's words to protect another's ego or the well-being of the relationship is not good either.

[–]cohost36 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Again, I take things like STFU with a grain of salt. If it’s an actual import issue I would address it, but I’ve found being negative about minuscule things is hard on the relationship, and ends up making both parties unhappy.

I’m sure different people have different relationship dynamics, I just find this works best for me. I am happy making other people happy, I always have been that way. After finding RPW, I am happier and am in the best relationship of my life.

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Okay, but you should know that the opposite of stfu is not 'being negative'. A thing only becomes negative when the intention was negative and the way that thing was done was carried out negatively. Secondly, people can care about, and find happiness in, making others happy without standing behind others or putting themselves down in some way. Your relationship dynamic is obviously your choice, but it's good to know and remember. If a partner was to have a problem with this, then it'd be a failing on their side (for being irrational).

All being said, it's nice that you're happier and enjoy your relationship. I'm happy for you.

[–]pandora_box-2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

It’s helped me communicate better— with my husband and in my job. I’m significantly more respected in the workplace because when I say something, I’m listened to. It’s even helped me get a promotion. STFU improves my communication skills and has improved my relationship with my husband. By protecting his ego, I encourage him to be open with me about his thoughts and feelings. STFU is not about not communicating an idea at all, but just making sure you communicate it in a positive manner.

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

"By protecting his ego, I encourage him to be open with me about his thoughts and feelings."

It got your husband to speak out more, but that doesn't necessarily make the outcome good- as I suggested in my previous comment. A person is overtly sensitive if people have to walk on eggshells or avoid being real and direct with them. It's not a virtue, it's frankly mental weakness. The sensitive person would be better off learning not to take everything so personally. The idea is to not be an asshole when you speak to a person, of course, while at the same time, avoid enabling overly sensitive responses to very normal statements, suggestions and requests- which are enabled by curving one's vocabulary so much. A neutral tone can go a long way without forcing you to compromise your position on things, for instance. The reason I say all this is because of what RPW say is the "right" way of saying things (I have read the posts, and the right way seems to either be not speaking at all or completely changing the original message to something that might get the job done, but isn't honest regarding why that message is being communicated), and so when you say, "communicate in a positive manner", I can't be sure of what you exactly mean.

Congratulations on your promotion!

[–]SunflowerBurstBut Debbie...pastels?2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yes it would be nice if everyone else behaved better but RPW is only about what the wife can actually control.

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Exactly! At the end of the day, you can only control yourself. Sometimes it is more effective to adjust your expectations to align with reality rather than try to change other people to meet your expectations.

[–]SunflowerBurstBut Debbie...pastels?0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Right, so much more empowering than just saying how other people should be ideal.

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

LOL, yes. Would that everyone was self-actualized before embarking on relationships, but ... that's not really the way it works.

[–]pandora_box-0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, for me I guess STFU helped me be less of a jerk then. I used to be a terrible communicator and the sub / STFU premise has helped me tremendously in all areas of life in terms of communication. I used to just say whatever was on my mind and didn’t have much of a filter. While I didn’t mean for it to come across in certain ways, STFU has helped me improve upon thinking before speaking.

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, being mindful before doing anything is definitely a good trait to possess. Good on you for developing it.

[–]SunflowerBurstBut Debbie...pastels?1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

STFU is communication. That is literally what men listen to rather than women’s repeated words. And for minor issues it just means don’t sweat the small stuff.

[–]Solivigent1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (18 children) | Copy Link

There's more to be gained from communication techniques other than stfu-ing and nagging. As for the minor issues, my contention is that people in relationships should be able to be real with each other or speak their minds. This doesn't automatically make them assholes or annoying- there's a difference between simply sharing that something makes more sense to do as opposed to saying you're fucking stupid, now do what I'm saying! I've sort of addressed this stuff in my responses to other comments in this thread. Give them a read to see where I'm coming from.

[–]SunflowerBurstBut Debbie...pastels?1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

Yeah well it’s for women who aren’t good at communicating and are inclined to nag. It’s not for super advanced people who have no issues communicating and have mastered the whole nuance. Some women think being real means just venting their criticisms all the time and that’s not good for marriage either.

[–]Solivigent1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (13 children) | Copy Link

I agree nagging and criticising aren't healthy, and that people can mistake what being real means. It'd take more time than telling those women to stfu, but they really should get to know about proper communication. I just can't get behind the consequences otherwise, you know? But yeah, like you said in another comment, it'd be nice if everyone simply behaved better.

[–]SunflowerBurstBut Debbie...pastels?1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

A lot of people could benefit from not sharing everything tbh

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, nobody's calling people to mimick the seagulls from finding nemo. It's just about being properly equipped for proper dialogue, better/genuine relationships, etc.

[–]SunflowerBurstBut Debbie...pastels?1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

And for a lot of people that starts with STFU

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (9 children) | Copy Link

This just circles us back. I'm of the opinion, and I suggested this earlier, that just because you achieved something you wanted, doesn't mean the method or even the context of the outcome is good. There are ways to achieve all this in healthier and more beneficial ways. When things are approached in such ways, they have strong foundations, which in turn fosters growth and even sustainability. We clearly disagree on the value of stfu, and I doubt we'll change the other's mind, so I suppose we ought to just agree to disagree.

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

As for the minor issues, my contention is that people in relationships should be able to be real with each other or speak their minds.

This begs the question, "Do you want to be effective, or do you just want to be right?" Because sometimes shooting from the hip is not the wisest strategy.

Have you ever been a boss; have you ever had to manage people? If so, you know that telling them, "Just do this, and as quickly as possible," isn't really an effective management strategy. Sometimes you have to use a little psychology and figure out the best way to motivate them to get the job done. You have to be tactical! Remember the episode in "Tom Sawyer" where Tom's aunt makes him whitewash a fence, so Tom pretends like it's the greatest job in the world and he's having a fun time, so his friend joins in and helps him? Sometimes being a boss, or a wife, is like that. LOL

RP is a primer to how men and women tick, especially in relationship to one another. For instance, when you understand that husbands respond better to praise and respect than they do to criticism, you realize why nagging doesn't work.

See, I was BP for a lot of years and several marriages, and I kept trying to hammer the same square peg into the same round hole. When my complaints went unheeded, I made them a second time, louder! I didn't know any better ... I simply didn't have any other tools in my toolbox. The BP culture in which I had grown up taught me that men and women were basically the same, equal, and should split everything 50-50. Of course this never happened -- my husbands never "did their fair share" around the house despite my constant nagging, and I would inevitably grow resentful.

Eventually (long before RP came along) it dawned on me that what I was doing wasn't working, and that maybe men actually weren't just defective women. Maybe they were their own thing, with some positive attributes that I was overlooking because I was too busy concentrating on the ways in which they were defective (by female standards). Maybe it didn't matter if my man left dirty clothes strewn throughout the house as long as he could fix the brakes on my truck? Maybe it was time to accept reality and adapt to it myself rather than continuously having expectations that weren't going to be met? Yeah. I have a happy LTR now, and it isn't because I'm still BP, LOL.

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I haven't supported things like nagging or criticism anywhere. I spoke against that stuff above too. As for the picking after himself part, you spoke of accepting reality, but reality has countless examples of men who aren't slobs, or who do their fair share. So what now? I suppose we just agree to disagree.

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

but reality has countless examples of men who aren't slobs, or who do their fair share.

I'd say they are exceptions to the rule, and how many are that way because they've been nagged into submission?! LOL

I suppose we just agree to disagree.

Fair enough!

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

STFU aka "having a modicum of self-control and introspection" is a very good idea.

Not every thought that passes through your head needs to come out your mouth.

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Neither did I express a distaste for introspection, nor did I say one's mouth should operate perpetually. Perhaps give my comment(s) another or attentive read?

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I did. "STFU is not communication." Sure it is. Sometimes what you don't say is just as important as what you do. And "sprinkling sugar on one's words to protect another's ego or the well-being of the relationships"? Isn't that ... simple kindness? Would you flat-out tell your co-worker that her idea is stupid or your bestie that her new dress is hideous? Probably not. You'd probably "sprinkle some sugar" and at least make your critique tactful. So why not do the same with your man? Think how often people treat their loved ones with less courtesy than they would a complete stranger.

[–]Solivigent0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I guess that's where we disagree. There are things that if said would serve no purpose in any way. But I'm not concerned with that here. What I'm talking about is if there's something you think about regarding a situation or thing, if there's something you'd like something to be, if you're in a situation where a thought is relevant, then I think it's better to just know how to say what's on your mind in an honest and civil way, rather than just keep your mouth shut. Life's too short for that, in my opinion.

The sprinkle sugar part- I don't mean throw tact out the window. I said this in another comment, which is why I suggested to read them, that one shouldn't be an asshole. And that being genuine and real and being an asshole are not the same if you don't make them. I also mentioned one example of the things that could help one avoid compromising their position on things or changing the reason as to why they said what was said (which unavoided make for stfu strategies I've seen on rpw posts), which was adopt a neutral tone. It goes a long way. I just don't see sugaring and tact as the same thing. I find sugar coating to be disingenuous, inaccurate, draining, unnecessary and enabling of sensitive responses to very normal statements, suggesstions and requests. It's the same feeling I have towards overt political correctness. When we coddle people too much, they become impossible to deal with and tolerate. Think about the sudden growth in safe spaces, censorship and anxiousness. Sugaring also weakens people mentally for bigger conflicts or more complex situations. It makes me wonder if such people are five year olds or grown adults. But then again, I wasn't that sensitive even as a kid. So now they're something I can't even compare them to...

[–]Willow-girlWe farm, you eat!0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the world is a pretty harsh place for men, even more so than it is for women in many cases. A loving wife can be a refuge from that ... or not, as she chooses.

Husband are generally kinder to their wives than vice-versa, IMO. You'll find no shortage of women happy to complain about the way their husbands don't pick up after themselves, yet you'll seldom hear a husband express frustration that his wife doesn't change the oil in her car or hasn't gotten up on the roof yet to figure out where it's leaking.

Honestly if we're making caricatures of the average poster these aren't too bad, except I'm not sure why the woman is attractive

[–]IspirationlessBlackpill - It’s so over it only just began1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For a comic that denies the importance of appearance and poses on a pedestal this vague concept of personality, the red pill man sure as hell doesn’t look that attractive.

It’s as if a hyperbolic caricature of said man heavily implies the importance of looks and how one is perceived by society as a whole (as in, getting represented not as a Quasimodo but more like the villain of a film).

Wow you really hold a twisted view, I mean I dread to think what your belief system is although since it attacks everyone I'd assume far left feminist, I mean that's the only group that can hate their own so vehemently. Red pill is about information, it's about understanding the world around you for what it is. It's not a philosophy or a set of ideas, it's just information.

How you then deal with that information is your choice. The issue really is with all the information and the statistics out there to back up the red pill why do so many choose to ignore it and act as if it doesn't exist. I mean personally there's nothing I find funnier than a man or women discovering that they really aren't as protected as they thought they were by societal norms. Or a Liberal crying for equality and the getting shafted by those very laws. It's funny really, red pill does one thing, it makes you libertarian, I mean you stay leaning left or right on issues, but red pill really makes you realise that equality is key.

Official apology this wasn't intended to be a deception of actual TRPs or RPWs. I just couldn't think of a better title for this relevant image I found.

This comic was apparently made by a dumb, lying, insincere libfem who smokes, has piercings and tattoos, doesn't cook or clean, has a flat chest, pubic hair that people have gone missing in going on expeditions to find the vagina underneath, who is the antithesis of a virgin and who hates anal.
