So I super support people opting not to drive if they can. I hadn't owned a car for seven years before COVID. That being said I know how to drive if I need to and if I needed to get some place, I got my ass there through my own means and didn't expect anyone to chauffeur me around. This guy should pickup a bike and get to her place at least half the time. Unless it's on the highway, a 20mins car drive is a more than doable bike ride for any relatively healthy person.

Nevermind the fact that a person is allowed to have a weekend to herself without being made to feel like an asshole. What a lazy and entitled man.

Does this scrote even have a job? So a single mom dating this loser, like why. He doesnt drive. Many times pretty hard to hold down any job without a car, unless it is super low level ones.

I was in a long distance relationship where the guy made me travel to his country every two months. I tried to politely decline, but he'd harass and manipulate me until I agreed to go. To be clear, I never initiated any attempts to meet with him. I never even texted him. I didn't even think about him since it was long distance. I just lived my life and he never crossed my mind until he'd blow up my phone demanding I go to his country and accusing me of not caring about him. After several trips I told him "I can't go right now, but why don't you come here, I'll pay for your plane ticket". He said he didn't want to sit on a plane for 12 hours and 4 hours in an airport and 2 hour in traffic just to see me. They don't value our time like they value theirs.

Unless you live somewhere with comprehensive public transport, don’t waste your time with someone who can’t drive. Unless there’s a medical reason preventing it, I feel that every adult should possess the skill knowing how to drive.

It’s just practical and smart to know how to drive. Hat if you’re out somewhere and the driver has a emergency like a heart attack?

In my culture you do not enter your new relationship (to your new married home) with the child from the previous relationship. The child from the previous relationship must stay with the mother or father's family. I always found this rule to be absurd. Sure it helps to not encourage you to have children with many different men, but just think of the feelings of abandonment it leaves with that first child. My older half sister is a child from that type of situation and I feel that the relationship between us has never been normal because of it. I feel you should never choose a man over you child no matter what the circumstances are. It's very cruel.
