His description of the situation “with little to no resistance” is so alarming. A “little resistance” IS A NO. Men think they can continue to push, pressure, and manipulate women into changing their minds when a no or not this time or a hand pushing you away should be MORE THAN ENOUGH.

Yes, consent is important, but the kind of consent these men think is adequate is wearing down a woman’s defenses until her choice is between letting herself be used or possibly facing negative emotional or physical behavior. That’s not a choice at all.

A woman should be showing green signals, be excited, touching you in return, relaxed, smiling, defenses down. NOT curled up tense in bed, defensive positions, leaning away, trying to fend you off with words or actions, or laying there like a dead fish in hopes it will be over soon.

I'm not sure where the timer fits into this but it makes it sound like he set a timer to try again to push himself on her even though he was repeatedly rejected. She should never have had to repeatedly reject him. That was attempted rape. Then when that timer went off he already knew what he was going to do. He made his decision.
