It's a small conversation that I've had before with mixed responses from men and women. I understand in certain contexts being called cute can be demeaning and sometimes demoralizing if it's not what you wanna hear if you're trying to be hot or sexy. I also know it can be a soft spot for people that feel they look younger than their actual age.

But personally as a guy I enjoy being called cute, I joke around a lot with my friends that I'm the adorable one in the group (I do kinda have a baby face). I also think cute can be more than your appearance like your personality or things you do are cute.

So I'm curious more often than not do you see being called cute as an insult (maybe well intentioned) or a compliment?
