That happened at one of my highschool football games. It didn't happen on a Friday, though. Some 5' nothing Hispanic gangster type female somehow got on the football team. Probably bc her parents were lawyers. Threatened a discrimination lawsuit. First game she was on she got slammed to the ground and ended up with a compound fracture on her left arm. It was damn near a 90 degree angle. She talked mad shit too before hand. No one allowed her to live it down for the last 3 yrs of highschool. She went from "I'll cut a bitch" to the most passive little bunny you could imagine.

That Night I got into a fight with a Older woman who would not stop Cursing me out and she had to be ejected from the Event after starting with me, most women would not talk to me after that, for the Night.
I did meet a Woman, who was older (44), and was actually really amazing looking, Latin and Caucasian with Long Black Hair, was only married Once, only had one kid (who was already 18 in not living with her) and was in great shape and thin, And she was really Nice (or Her Chameleon was on and working really well), I got her Number and actually spent some real significant time with her. But after three Months the Mask starts to slip and the Red Flags show up (like she sat me down and asked me where were we going with this relationship, like future Marriage and stuff, which I wasn't having) I guess because she was older she wanted to move faster in the relationship.
I had to leave her soon after that because she was telling me she was equal or Better than Younger women.

You think that you should have known better. You think of a thousand ways you should have seen it coming. A thousand times you think of times you sacrificed, trusted, and all but wept blood, and what do you have to show for it?
Betrayal. Over a commitment you might have even felt forced or obligated to enter into.

Only to have it cursed and about the only thing that anyone ever gives a man credit for is stripped of him because of more obligations imposed by traditions you just happened to be born into.
And you carry all of that resentment and pain, and you're reminded every damn day in a thousand different ways, and you are just disgusted that you could have been so gullible to risk the work of half a lifetime so cheaply.

The only reason to be angry is because there is fear. And fear is just the uncertainty of safety. It's the emotion of resistance because to survive at any level is to resist that which will impair your survival. And we feel fear on behalf of those we share kinship with.
As men, there are certainly plenty of true burdens that are as unique to our lives as certain burdens that belong solely to women. That much is necessarily true. In our common experience, we only want to protect our fellow man, even if they are strangers that are acting like assholes, from the worst pain we can imagine.
Especially when we are imagining them walking right towards, oblivious to the fact that they are happily marching towards their own doom.
But brother, I'm fine. Its going to work out for me. And not because its impossible for my relationship to fail... of course that's possible. Love is unconditional positive regard, and you can't help whom you love. But sometimes love isn't enough, especially if the relationship isn't healthy.
And so it is certainly possible that my relationship could become toxic, and unbalanced, or become shattered by infidelity or some other distrust-sowing circumstance. It can happen to anyone so therefore it can happen to me, because I'm not special. I'm not more deserving of a happy, healthy relationship than you are. I've always been lucky, and nobody deserves the luck they are born with most of the time. That's why they call it luck and not karma.
So the reason why it's going to work out for me is because I was a whole person before my relationship, I'm a whole person now, and no matter what she chooses to do, I will always be content with my circumstances because I am always confident that I'm being the best version of myself possible. Because I'm trying.
I fail all the time. Far more than I succeed.
But that's all that practice is. Failing forward until you are just okay at something. Which means you fail less often.
And so I keep trying to do what is right, even when it's inconvenient. And that also means in my relationship - it can't be transactional. It can't be an obligation. It can't be a burden. It must be something worth having. Worth fighting for. Worth sacrifice and compromise.
It must make me happier and better. I only want things in my life which make me a better man.
A relationship isn't something you are in.
It's something you do.
It's work.
A process.
And that just means its the work involved in how you relate to any person, place, or thing. The work is either healthy, built on healthy habits, or it's not. The quality of the relationship is based on the quality of the work and the quality of the people involved. Healthy partners lift each other up because they heal each other and support each other's growth.
They are the people you trust most because you know them best. Your best friend. Someone you can cry in front of without feeling weak or ashamed. Someone with whom you feel safe being even the worst version of yourself because they've already been through the worst which is why they deserve you at your best.
That shit is rare. You get that, you've won the lotto. 1 in a Million maybe.
But if you don't play, you don't take a chance...
You'll never win.
And it's pretty tough, because "playing" means forgetting all the games and just being yourself. And that means that who you are might be rejected by someone you gave everything to, and what does that say about you?
Nothing. It says nothing about you. Preference isn't personal. Country music isn't better than Rap and vice versa. It's a matter of preference.
So I'm happy doing the work. I'm only doing exactly what I want and what I think is fair. I'm getting everything I want out of the work I put into my relationship. And that means I have someone that I also trust to never keep secrets from me.
And she never has.
But even if the worst happens... that's on her. Not on me. At least I tried to go after exactly what I want. Which is just an honest relationship with her, where I can trust that she'll always have my back just like I'll have hers. And I won't be mad at myself for trying, because I love myself, and I deserve to get what I want.
So everything I do is because I choose it. I risk the consequences, because I am confident that risk is worth the reward.
But no matter how much I risk, the only thing I'll ever need is me.
I've literally been homeless. And suffice to say, now I'm not.
But when I had nothing, I still had myself, and I was enough for me. I was still worthwhile. I was still loved. I still had friends who cared about me. My happiness wasn't dependent on what I had but rather how I chose to live and who I chose to be regardless of my circumstances.
