That's what women judge you on and your position within it. The likes of Tinder etc women go for looks because it's the only reliable factor they can judge off the bat through that medium. Even then it's not enough. Match with a girl on tinder - BP guys take that as; she must mean she's attracted to me right? Wrong - she's then going to test you and throw challenges your way to see if you're capable of working around them and be man enough to establish a date. It's her way of assessing a mans dominance. Chances are if the guy doesn't crumble and 'gives back' what he gets then she will judge him worthy of a meet up.

Looks play a part - but think about it this way... In your social group of males. The good looking guys tend to have it easier not just with women, but with the guys also. People give them more time and attention because they subconsciously want to associate themselves with good looking guys because somewhere in our minds we established them as 'winners' (and no one wants loser friends). Those guys 'rise to the top' and that, ultimately is what the women are going for - those men at the top. However, we all know that there are other qualities to 'get to the top' - be charismatic and funny, successful (even guys will swoon over their friends Mercedes) or simply lead the most interesting life out of the people you know.

That, is ultimately what is meant when we say 'looks don't matter'. They do matter, but it's just one of many equally important factors and if you're living your life correctly you can happily establish enough decent qualities to negate not looking exactly like James Franco.

What you re saying is correct. Its demonstrated in that well circulated ok cupid poll. Men rating women on the site rated about half the women as average or better just based on appearance. Women rated well under half the men as at least average and an extremely small number as actually good looking. Because men are polygynous and high sex drive by nature but arent usually the sexual selectors, they will by necessity have a broader definition of what physically attractive is. Its just math.

The flip side is that women are also influenced by frame, game, status. Which is why average looking men are often advised to avoid dating apps. You will be judged very harshly on what is presumably the weakest weapon in your arsenal.

Imagine a world where guys have sexual abundance equal to women. That market is the gay sexual market. Gay men have equally if not higher standards than women. So women's standards come from their natural abundance rather than an ingrained natural standard.

Another factor is that most men are whimps that can not make a tingle to save their life. Having a loser personality is basically like being a crazy feminist. Most men are not worth looking at. Women will STARE at an attractive man, the difference is that "attractive man" is top 5%, and "attractive woman" is "top 50%".

Women tolerate poorer looks in men who are, in some way, PAYING. Women are not nobly overlooking male looks. They're exploiting the resources of men who happen to not be in the top 5%. They twist this into a semblance of superiority because women twist EVERYTHING into making themselves look good. It's what they do.

Interesting hypothesis. I think you could probably test your hypothesis:

There's lot of sites that allow people to rate others purely on looks (those rate my picture sites) - you could see the average rating of women vs men.

Obviously - it's not a perfect study; as it's skewed by the demographic of people most likely to post a picture on a site to be rated.

A real study would need control groups, 'randomly' picked subjects, etc.

Still though - I think checking your hypothesis against those rating sites would be a good place to start.

Another good article which explains to you the truth about looks. Yes, TRP does help you improve yourself because at the very least you don't end up being someone's betabux and it helps you rebel against the falsities that you were thought as a kid. However, if you are below average looking and don't have much else to offer, even TRP will not be enough to hook you up with high SMV women. Simply being a bad boy who doesn't take orders from women won't cut it unless you have looks or status to back you up. If you are not that attractive, you need to work hard on raising your financial and social status before you can have a fighting chance with attractive women. Had Trump not been president and a billionaire he would have never had the chance to date the kind of women he dated. Yet, I know few broke freeloaders who banged many good looking women just because they had naturally occurring chiseled looks.

Women care a shit ton about looks when it comes to alpha fucks. And as you wrote, it is a very high bar to be alpha fucks based upon looks. When they are looking for beta bucks providers, then they settle on looks and look for other traits.

When women are around a very attractive man, it affects them more than it does men being around the same caliber of women. Just look at women at concerts of male heart throbs screaming and passing out. There is no male equivalent. Perhaps the reason is that men are used to finding many women attractive and containing themselves, especially around their SO.

For instance, I went to a bar with 2 couples and a single woman. One of the male bartenders was around 25, 6' 4", jacked, and with a handsome face. In front of their SOs, the women all turned to admire him together and were whispering things back and forth. When the 2 guys left they pretty loudly talked about the guy with me sitting there. Most men would not do this with their SO there. It was kind of gross.

Also men are more attracted to Jim, simply because he is the most liked guy in the group. Naturally, you want to be friends with the fun guy, not the boring dude sitting at the end of the table.

Also note that women don't care as much about stuff you can't do anything about, but do care about things you can do something about. That's fitness, hygiene, trimming nosehairs and eyebrows, haircuts, washing your face, staying in shape, being social and all that.

I once had a plate that told me her vagina dries up everytime she sees a nosehair sticking out, or out of place eyebrow hairs... Go figure. It seems to be a big trend where I live in Europe.
