A promoter in Europe said this a few years ago and had his tournament taken off him. Lucky Nadal isn’t in that position.

Women’s tennis is ok to watch but the level of skill isn’t remotely close to the men’s and that’s what people want to watch. There are guys ranked like 1000 in the world who probably don’t make much from tennis at all, certainly not enough to live on but if they were to play in women’s tournaments they would be millionaires. It just doesn’t seem fair to me. I think sport should not be separated by gender just the best vs the best.

Think about it like this, women get away with making like 10x more money than men in modeling due to how much interest they get. Well, how is this any different? If women want equality, you can't have it both ways. Men should make what women make in modeling and prostitution for instance, or they find a middle ground. Either way, equality ain't gonna happen. I mean the pay isn't even about their skill. If women were watched more, even if they had less skill, they'd be bringing in more money, so they'd be payed more. The men are watched more, bring in more money, and therefore deserve more pay. This shouldn't really trigger anybody, it's common sense.
