It is always a risk to co-habitat with women. Men, never forget that when you enter any kind of legal situation with a woman, you pretty much forfeit all your male sovereignty. You may not be home free yet. Some places have cumulated time for common law to be in effect. Meaning she doesn't have to stay for a full X years, just as long as her total time with you adds up. Also check out what other factors may contribute to Common Law or Girlfriend Alimony in your jurisdiction. It may not always be living together

I vaguely remember hearing about a court case in Canada where even they broke up - they still slept with each other (FWB) irregularly. The judge said they were basically still together.

Keep that in mind, if you're still intimate (kiss/hold hands/FWB) with her, you're basically still together under established precedents.
