The year range limit that you see may vary, could be 3, could be 5 years, maybe more. Requirement for membership in the sample is that she is known by you beyond mere acquaintance, that you mutually know details of each other's lives, history, interests, motivations, etc. Exclude women you knew from school or work that you lost contact with, or only know through rumor and hearsay.

My personal observation is that I know exactly THREE truly attractive, sexually appealing women who have ever been in stable relationships that have gone beyond FIVE years. Taking as an extremely conservative estimate that I personally currently know about 150 women who would qualify as beautiful, that I am in contact with, that I can confirm etc., this is 2%. A pathetic statistic.

I came to this depressing rumination in a roundabout way, while I was considering friends and family at a recent holiday party. Turns out I know a lot of completely normal-looking guys who are with women whose looks range from bland to blech. While the women are generally intelligent and interesting, a lot of these guys could do a whole lot better.

None of these women could I fuck sober. That is my criterion for sexually appealing. I have had drunken one night stands with women below my standards, so this line is very clear and distinct to me. Some of these women could suck a golf ball through a krazy straw, so that made it a fun ONS, but it doesn't matter, I can't bring myself to do it sober.

This is all very typical in the real world, normal guys with women who may have been attractive at one time, but are not any more. Just a bizarrely lopsided match. But surely I know some hot women in relationships, I thought. Then I realized what had happened in my social group in just the last 18 months:

A: she used to be a dancer (you know what I mean), married a great guy who had huge arms, interesting background, very popular. They had a kid, then she cheated on him and kicked him out, all within 3 years. He may have collapsed in the face of the responsibility of being a parent, or maybe he so identified with the child that he became childlike himself, and she realized she had more manly options.

B: beautiful, but also nice woman, great tits, married a guy with a trust fund. They had a couple of kids, but, since he never had to work, he never really became a man. The good times and the good father he was weren't enough. She got sick of that, then blindsided him with divorce, even though she knew the money was protected.

C: exotic beauty married a musician. Same story, couple of kids, the novelty of the musician wears off, she has options. She's a hairdresser, beware of those because they hear about their options every day.

D: beautiful sorority girl marries my nephew after a long relationship full of enormous pressure for the engagement. Turns out she didn't want to get married so much as she just wanted a wedding. Kid, then divorce, well before the 2 year mark. Crash and burn.

[Digression for those who would ask why I didn't try to save my nephew: All I could do was ask him pointedly why are you getting married? but the wheels were in motion and apparently unstoppable. He's a great kid, I really like him, but I don't trust him to keep his mouth shut; he would have blabbed about TRP, and the whole family would have turned on me. To put it in perspective, I would have been less of a pariah had I fucked his fiancee and broken them up, than talk about TRP.]

In addition to those 4, I know a lot of other beautiful women who have also never made it past 5 years, usually much, much less, before becoming the relationship annihilator. There are sluts, serial monogamists, or women who just can't loosen their overly stringent standards (side note: I've often wondered about this last group, is it to their detriment? or are they better off? regardless of what they say, of course). And of course, there are women who lose their beauty and then stay in the relationship (not a course of action for a man, apparently).

So what about the 3 attractive, sexually appealing women I know who have stayed attractive and stayed in a relationship for more than 5 years? I found their conditions interesting also:

1: one is married to a real man who keeps her in line without being a dick about it. He knows she stays with him because he is her best option, bottom line, as simple as that. She thinks it's a storybook romance, but he knows it wouldn't take much for her to drift, so he continues to make himself her best option. Her subconscious motivation to stay fit is to be known as part of an attractive couple: Utter vanity; she loves the way he makes her feel. Asked about her fidelity, he says he trusts her "about 85%".

2: another is married to a man 25 years older than her. Not judging, but that is not normal. Extreme daddy issues. In public, she appears sophisticated, and I imagine in private, just the opposite. If she cheats, she's discreet about it.

3: this one is French, married to an American. She's an academic feminist, and she travels to conferences alone a lot. Get it? She travels. Apparently, if it happens in a different time zone, it's not cheating. She stays with him because the reputation benefits her.

Interesting trio; I had a double-take when I realized how hard the classifications fit: a red pilled couple (she has no idea about that), a woman with probable emotional issues, and the classic beta bucks open relationship. Are there any other ways to keep an attractive woman around?

Recall all the normal-looking guys I know that are married to formerly attractive women. Their marital satisfaction falls along the standard bell curve (we talk, I know these guys). In fact, this is mostly true of the women as well: but only if the man is regarded, by the woman, as being of higher value. Additionally, I don't know many divorced/broken up couples in my social group where the man was seen as higher value.

Inescapable fact of nature: The man has to be higher value than the woman. Not only that, the man has to be more attractive than his competition.

As a last point, another rhetorical question: remember I said 2% was a pathetic statistic? Is that a reflection of the women, or of the men? Your answer will tell you if you are beyond the anger phase.
