I can relate. I grew up in rural communities that had diversity. Lots of whites, lots of blacks, lots of hispanics... but I don't remember many Asians. Maybe I just didn't notice. Everyone seemed to get along and I didn't even think about people's race until I moved to a big city and had a gun shoved in my face by a couple thuggies while working at a video store.

It's been a downward spiral from there where I try so hard to not judge, but that fucking inner-city hoodlum culture is just poison. I'm tired of tiptoeing around the concept that blacks in the big city have a problem, and it's not police brutality.

I've moved over the years and every time it's a rural area, all races get along, but then when work takes me back to the city, I'm reminded of how much I hate "the culture."

It's not the race, it's the fucking culture.

I'm black living in Africa and even I would never want to associate with Afro-Americans judging by what I've heard. I have friends who immigrated to the U.S and they tell me black Americans behave like animals. Rowdy, violent, always shouting and shit. Oh, and they hate African immigrants too because African immigrants know what's at stake so they behave well and pursue success in education and their careers. Crabs in a bucket mentality. Sometimes I wish those guys would be brought to Africa where you actually have to earn everything you have with zero govt aid, then we'd see just how gangsta they are. No matter what the story is, there is always going to be the other side of the story.

What I mean is taht the mainstream pushes the narrative that "blacks are oppressed, blacks are hunted, etc."

The story from the teacher here shows the other side of the story, which is the real truth. This is what is actually going on at the ground level. Blacks get showered with free money and the blacks do not give a shit. The alleged lack of money is not the problem with blacks.

In this case the teacher is saying that the blacks are doing it to themselves, and for sure blacks need to take responsibility for their own actions, but what's really happening is that government is the root cause. The government dangles free money in front of mothers as incentive to kick the fathers out of their house, and the women, who are solipsistic and cannot see the long term consequences, only see the free money and obediently follow. These kids, now without a father, will tend to grow up to be pieces of shit, because the father is required for these kids to grow up properly. The black culture is bad because they have a single motherhood epidemic; for example Turd Flinging monkey has said that when you take crime rates by race and adjust for single motherhood, the differences in crime rates between races almost completely disappears.

Of course, the media and the elites are just adding fuel to the dumpster fire by turning it into a race war.

Very much the same in Australia. I use to work with kids and noticed the aboriginal groups were mostly uncivilised and out of control. They were literally fucking animals, shitting in the elevators and trashing their accommodation. You guessed it, they were mostly single mother homes because the men are either in jail or just drunks that moved out cos they either didn't care or were beating the family up. Some of them were kiddy fiddlers too, something that is rampant in Aboriginal communities. In contrast, we had many inner suburban and not so well off immigrant schools and they were some of the nicest, most polite and well behaved children I've ever dealt with. The difference was clearly at home where most had both parents that wouldn't put up with any shit.

I knew a teacher who taught at a school with a mostly-black student body. She had similar issues, but remarked that one man was able to control the students—a black football coach with a habit of cussing the little shits out. He talked, they listened. He enters the room, they sit down and shut up. Speaks to the difference a father figure can make, eh?

The guy was moved to a different school after he physically restrained a girl who was wailing on another teacher. Competence is punished again.

Even here in europe, there are parallels in my experience. In my year or (grade for americans). There were a dozen black guys, i can only say one was a well behaved out of the lot. The rest would cause a lot of chaos and disruption. Some guys would say its single mother household, in a lot cases is true. But even these guys with two parents are turning out somewhat the same. One of the guys in my year, i met his mother, who was a very conservative polite woman and he was a polar opposite. There probably is some other factors out here in play, maybe they follow and take hip hop culture too literally.

There was a book called” what it’s like teaching in black schools” or something. Large excerpts were posted online about teachers stories in Chicago public schools. They even spelled out the Ebonics and it was a puzzle trying to say it. “Brickfass” for the free breakfast mentioned in the post above. The sucking of the teeth as a sign of aggression if they were going to strike.

So, as a teacher I can 100% confirm that this is true. Before I started teaching, I substituted at many schools across my state. At the predominantly hispanic schools, I had very little issues. Sure, one kid was talkative here and there, and sometimes getting the instructions across was hard with the language barrier. But they did their work, I never had to hound them. Some of the students would actually tell the talkative ones to shut up while I was doing the lesson. And the boys in the class would always want to discuss sports or ask me about college, they never got physical (other than maybe flicking a paper football here or there).

On the days I didn't get a job at those type of schools, and I had to go to the urban ones, I dreaded it. Constant disrespect, fights on the daily, none of the work getting done, and no help from the school administration was the kicker. But I did what I had to do to get paid. At the Hispanic schools I always had the full backing. Eventually I got put on the preferred substitute list for a lot of them so I had first shot at filling any spot they needed, and then I got hired by one and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

I spent a couple years at a boarding school for the low tier wealthy. Not Gates or Buffet, but think where high end lawyers and CEOs of successful but small companies send their kids. One summer I had to take an extra class at a public school near where I lived. At the time I lived in a very majority black city.

Holy fuck. What a difference. I was never worried about my safety and was never threatened or anything, though I expected that (I was sneered at a lot though). What got me is the actual whogivesafuck of all the students. Many times I would look around and I would be the only student awake in the class.

I could tell the teacher just had enough. Maybe the summer classes were less violent, but he never got threatened or anything (and there were no fights that I knew of) but the students didn't have an ounce of respect for him. They cut up a lot more than usual and said some pretty shitty things to him. I think he was happier when they were asleep. It's clear he was just in it for the paycheck, which probably wasn't very much.

Grew up in a poor neighbourhood and had many equally as poor black friends. A lot of them grew up to be racist towards white men even though we had white friends growing up.

I think the main reason is because their parents conditioned them to believe that all their faults are due to the white man and they’ll never be able to amount to anything. When you get that type of feedback from your parents, naturally you will stop trying in anything. What’s the point in trying if you wont succeed anyways? Crabs in a bucket type of mentality.

The successful black people i know never let others opinions (their own families and actual racists) get in the way of achieving their goals.

The last few paragraphs about how he quit and relocated to a mostly Hispanic school and the situation was better made me realize something: Maybe blacks being replaced in California with Hispanics and illegals is just inevitable. Hispanics on the whole may vote democrat, initially, but culturally wise they are more like Conservatives aka Christian, hard working, and fiercely nationalistic.

Thanks for sharing. I can attest. I’ve had many African and African-American friends, as well as my ex being from Uganda, and being a part of her family, I have to tell you what an absolutely stark difference in mentality and culture between black Americans and African-Americans there are.

African-Americans (immigrants from Africa or first generation African-Americans) vary incredibly from black Americans. I have good friends from Kenya, Liberia and Uganda who would all attest to this too. They look down severely at black Americans, and generally want nothing to do with this ‘culture.’ It’s also worth mentioning that most of my African friends started relatively poor, but are now incredibly successful in America, and are the very last people to cry racism or have a victim mentality. They look at our current racial tension in America and say, ‘you guys are fucking idiots. This is pointless.’ I’ve never heard an African ever whine about racism in the same way a black American does.

My Ugandan ex girlfriend and I always laughed and used to say, ‘Us Americans and Africans are up in here chilling together. No idea what the rest of you are on about.’

My Ugandan ex girlfriend is one of the most incredible humans I’ve ever had the privilege to know, and she has an unbroken family, strong extended family, great relationship with her father, conservative values, and a strong understanding and respect of both her Ugandan and American cultures. Some of the most red-pilled wisdom I ever got about black American culture came from her. It always saddened me hearing every single day from the news media how racist I am as a white American (who happened to be dating a Ugandan-American at the time), all the while getting dirty looks from black guys for being in a loving, respectful relationship with a black girl. And yet I’m the racist one.

African immigrants and their respective cultures are ridiculously superior to black American culture. There I said it. And certainly to some degree this is caused by the history of race relations in the US. You can’t dismiss the genetic damage that white American’s ancestors could have caused by enslaving another people. But that being said, it’s 2020 and literally everyone is rooting for black America to get their shit together, the same way that African American’s have their shit together. Racism is certainly not the thing holding this community down.

To keep this MGTOW related, it’s also worth noting that the women in my African family were also vastly superior to most white American women I know too. They’re extremely respectful, wise, no attitude, hard working, and seem to really respect and acknowledge the sacrifice of their men. They’re still women, AWALT, but my experience is that African immigrants to America are some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. If I was to settle down and live the blue-pill life, it most certainly would have been with her. I think this might be similar to when I see men talking about how amazing girls from East Asia or Eastern Europe are; there must be a common thread here.

Anyway, I think it’s incredibly sad, but a hard black-pill to swallow is that not all cultures are equal.

(Edit): I should note that I have a ton of back American friends too, who are incredible, hard working people, but even the best of them still seem to have an air of victim mentality. It’s hardwired into the American experience at this point. Extremely sad. I was brought to tears when I heard my black friend describing how he never felt welcome in his own country. I tried explaining my own viewpoint, that our country has the distinct and proud history of 2 races actually coming together and building something even greater together: Liberty and equality. It didn’t get thru to him. My African friends all already have this mentality. The positive effects this has on ones psyche can’t be overstated enough.

I'm a white european kid who immigrated into a very diverse area in usa. All my friends were coincidentally black and in middle school we'd bully the teachers, get into fight and they always had my back. One thing I had that I believe they didn't have is male figures at home. I ran around with a few gang bangers that were from that area and they've always accepted me. But when I went home and I'd get into a fight my father would whooop my ass. And when they'd get into trouble they'd get a ribbon from their older friends.

Black girls weren't any different. They had no problem to throw it down and get confrontational. But I got a lot of love from them because they love white boys.

I'm so happy this sub exists, I've been thinking of a way to share my POV with friends/family and I simply don't see one.

The truth is, BLM is based on feelings, not facts. The facts describe a toxic culture, and by ignoring that, we're perpetuating it.

It's very simply explained: poverty breeds crime. Blacks are the most impoverished. So no, it's not that black people are somehow worse, it's that they're worse off. That, combined with a victim narrative, pressure to conform, fatherlessness, and hip-hop culture (fuck the police), has created easily the worst environment to succeed possible.

Now consider this: you're a cop and everytime there's a shooting, you pull up and it's a bunch of black people and they're threatening you for trying to help. After awhile, you'd be sick of them. And then you watch the news and all it does is jerk them off 24/7. You try to bring up how maybe we're approaching the issue incorrectly and you're told you don't get a say because you're white. I'm not surprised these people snap, and then those cases get pointed to as proof of systemic racism when really, it's just their shit tier culture.

I know this was a white guy, but I've talked with plenty of black guys that went for higher education (not in black colleges) and tried hard in school to get where they are. They also had no pity for these people.

Hell, my highschool was technically "not black" but if you walked the halls you'd change your mind. Who acted up the most? Who needed "extra credit" and "grade curving" the most? It wasn't the hispanics, whites, or asians.

Have to be honest it’s hard to relate to a school existing like that since I went to private schools all the way through high school. That sounds pretty terrible. Where I have an issue with what this guy says is that he seems to be blaming the kids. It sounds more to me like everyone around those students failed them. A principal and other school leadership that doesn’t care about bettering the students and writing them off. No family or community support to give a shit about an education. You could say that’s “culture” but it’s sad to think someone would call that culture. And if it really is a cultural thing, that doesn’t mean it can’t change. And why wouldn’t they want to help fix that, especially the educators in their schools? Ignorance and disrespect for other people aren’t things to just accept, and certainly not things to celebrate. Doesn’t matter who they are, someone writing off other people’s futures instead of trying to help (especially when that’s literally their job) just because they think that’s the culture associated with their race is pure and simple racism, and it perpetuates the cycle of poverty. You could argue slavery was “the culture” in the south before the Civil War. That doesn’t mean it was acceptable and didn’t need to change. But it also didn’t mean children of slave owners were to blame for it. In either case, it’s not the fault of the child that was born into that life and is told that’s how life is. If they grow up and keep up that “culture” then they’re part of the problem. But just like people thinking the Earth was flat, you have to have someone show the way or you might not ever see there’s anything else but your narrow view of the world. Specifically regarding that post, I think the guy lost faith in an entire group of people because he saw failed leaders, whether that’s parents, school leadership, or community leadership. The community is failing and there isn’t enough motivation to be better from the rest of the community that is helping shape them so they aren’t. In that sense you could say he has a real point that “their problems are their own fault” in terms of the whole community. But the kids growing up in that are as much victims as anything else. They become part of the problem as they move out into the world and continue that kind of behavior and disregard for other people. And until someone steps up to try to either change the adults in that community or really teach the students a better life, it won’t change. To a point you can argue that the root of that was years of racial oppression that destroyed the chance for things to be better. But at some point, especially with how interconnected as the world is now, people have to take ownership of their own communities. Accepting and spreading the idea that violence and ignorance are culture and attached to someone’s racial identity is still just racism, regardless of the race of the person thinking that way.
