Yes. How long does it take to send a message? Typing “Hi How are you?” Took 10 seconds. If he cannot find 10 seconds in over 7days he doesn’t care about you.

It’s most likely he started talking to someone else and she dipped and now he’s coming back to you. Girl, you’re better than this!! You are not trash to be dropped and picked up again at HIS disposal. NO. You ghost his ass!!!!

For a friend, I'd give some wiggle room. But for someone who was I was considering as a partner, it would probably be over.

Can't think of many good reasons why they couldn't send something like a "Hey I'm gonna be doing xyz for a week and wont be available."

I mean sure if they went on the latest Space X mission or they are buried in a mine explosion and fighting with other men for food and oxygen. Otherwise if a man suddenly vaporizes for a week after regular contact it is because they are testing you out to see how much bullshit you will tolerate, they are sniffing out other options, or they got lost in man world doing stupid shit with their friends. It really does not matter how nice they seem what matters is how you are treated and what your perception of that treatment is.

A man who is actually interested will reach out no matter how batshit crazy life gets for them.

Ghost him. It took me so long to learn my lesson with this sort of thing. It takes a few seconds to send a text. If he doesn’t think you’re worth a few seconds of his time, then he isn’t worth yours. If you liked a guy, would you ignore him for a week? No. He probably was talking to another woman and got bored or she stopped talking to him. Don’t let yourself be an option, find someone who makes you their priority.

I would need more context. “Reaching out” is vague. Have you actually dated or just been chatting (since dating is paused for many right now)? What expectations were set?

I agree that if you’re feeling confused then it’s not a good sign. At most, if he’s fun and nice and you enjoy interaction, then I’d proceed with caution and only keep him as an “option” (don’t prioritize him in anyway because he hasn’t prioritized you). What feels best to you?

I can understand wanting to ghost him but don’t make the same mistake I did! I was in a relationship with a great guy for about 4 months and he was practically perfect. We weren’t living together at the time and he would always send me good-morning and cheesy texts. All of a sudden he stopped, i was confused and waited for him to text but he never did. About a week and a half later I texted him to ask what was up and if we were over. Tbh I was pissed, he told me that he was the one initiating conversations and making an effort to keep them going. Him not texting me for over a week was to see if I would take initiative and I didn’t. We broke up after that and I realized I lost a great guy for almost nothing.
