In high school, I dated the quintessential popular, attractive boy for six months. He thought he was going to be a famous actor and so did everyone else. He dumped me mere minutes after taking my virginity when I was 16. He lasted a whole eight months in LA. His only claim to fame is being a blurred-out extra in the background of an irrelevant sitcom. Ten years later, he's a Starbucks barista in Ohio and looks like a fat Lance Bass.
Pro athlete. Explicitly said he wanted "exclusivity." Introduced me to his family, took me on vacations with them. His parents referred to me as his girlfriend. Out of nowhere he gets distant and starts running around with an 18 year old girl. I confront him and accuse him of cheating on me. He calls me crazy and flat-out tells me he never specifically said I was his "girlfriend," so it's not cheating. Not long after, he broke his leg and got fat. He's 30. Rapidly balding. He doesn't even realize she's going to outgrow him. Poor, stupid bastard.

They both eventually came back to me with their tails tucked, crying about how they made a mistake by treating me like shit and begging for a second chance. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed laughing in each of their faces.

I did some healthcare training in long term care facilities for a bit. One afternoon, the nurses were discussing a client who was miserable because his children wouldn’t come visit him. They happened to gather from one of his kids who barely came by that he was a rolling stone who cared more about his penis than his multiple kids. He was overheard on the phone crying for any of them to pickup and come visit him.

Another staff member pointed out how she’s seen that happen with old, infirm men numerous times. They spend their lives being players or awful men to their partners, while ignoring their health. The ones who haven’t managed to hook a low self esteem woman to stick around and play nursemaid, either end up in the LTC facility, or have to depend on their own mothers (!!) or usually, sisters to visit and check up on them. A few have or had wives that smartened up moved on while the men leech off of the kindness of women relatives.

I bet they thought they’d be hot studs who would grow into older men with a young lady on their arm to care for them in old age. The only ‘young lady’ caring for them now is on the clock! Not what they imagined I’m sure. This is why so many shitty fathers want to begin making amends when they start seeing the end of their lives getting closer.

My abusive ex is still single and cant get laid. 10 years after I broke up with him. A friend has another friend who lives in the same apartment complex as my ex and he hangs out with him sometimes. So when I meet my friend, she will gladly tell me the funniest stories about how much my ex suffers. His mom is coming to his apartment to clean every week. And he got really fat because he survives on fast food. I dont really care about him as a Person, but what he did to me was extremely painful and I cant help but feel a bit content about what is happening to him.

My abusive ex found a new roommate after I left but the guy couldn't make next month's rent, he got actually fired after I dumped him (and fired again six months later), and his sewage system backed up and he had to work on it himself because he was broke. Before I met him he had hit rock bottom and was pulling himself out. He'll never make anything of himself. He's LVM through and through and turns 45 this year😂 The only reason I know this shit is mutual friends that only speak of him to gossip about him. I don't even give them the satisfaction of reacting negatively.

I made a post about this a while back and it went semi viral and got tweeted back at my ex so I need to be careful about what I write as he is something of a former public figure in my country.

I was 20 at the time and he was 34. He slowly became more and more controlling. At first he would cook for us and I would clean up after. At the time I thought this was a fair deal. It slowly turned into me cleaning his whole apartment and he would be rude and agressive if I stayed over and didn't do a full clean (vacuum, mop, laundry - the whole wifey package).

He went overseas for a while and he rented his place out on Airbnb. After the guests left I went over to clean and found pics of his ex wife. She was a spit of me and he'd always been controlling over what I looked like - I couldn't lose weight, tan or dye my hair. I also noticed that someone else had been at his apartment and there was evidence that they'd been there after the Airbnb guests had left. As far as I knew, I was the only other person who had a key.

Fast forward a few weeks and I did another full clean and found earrings under his bed. They were not mine. I confronted him and he told me that they were probably there since before we started dating... Bullshit. I cleaned that place weekly. So I dumped him. I was young and naive but that didn't mean I was going to let his infidelity fly. At the time, because he wasn't physically abusing me, I didn't classify his treatment of me as abusive. I now know it was coercive control.

He had a reputation throughout his career of being aggressive and volatile. A few years later I found out he'd been fired from his dream job after he made vile death threats to a junior. He is completely disgraced and is now a salesman. He has no foot back into his former industry.

After the post I made got some traction, a few of his exes contacted me. I added one of them on Facebook and sure enough, she was pale and curvy with dark hair. We exchanged notes and he'd treated us all the same. The cycle of abuse with all of us was the same down to the T and we ALL fell for his shit and believed that all of his other girlfriends were just crazy.

Yeeesssss, my ex is a fucking scumbag

Sweet little 18 year old me supported this 26 year old man who had a child to another woman for a year. He used my phone, took my money, was excited that his bm gave him money to feed his daughter when he watched her (I was so embarrassed I made him give it back an apologise, he didn't pay anything for his child). Anyway my dumb ass gets pregnant, my lucky ass miscarries but gets stuck in bed for a while with a god awful fever / cold just after. He gets annoyed I wont fuck and we break up. After it comes out that he had been cheating everytime i went to work, he justified it because he was better looking than me (not true lol).

In the month after he breaks up with me and everything comes out he gets kicked out of his band, cant pay rent and gets kicked out of where we were living, losses his car and drops out of uni. It's been like five years now and he's homeless, on drugs, kicked out of every social circle he enters, got really fat isn't allowed to see his daughter, has not worked since before we got together, is balding, pushed over a child in public on purpose and is about to go to jail for drugging a girl, tying her up and beating her so badly she almost died of blood loss and has moved out of state to become a nun (May the Gods watch over her 🙏).

Once a lvm has noone left to leach off of their lives tail spin out of control.

Ha, maybe "crushing and burning" is a bit exaggerated, but the one guy who I dated for six months in my mid-twenties went from cute to ugly in just a few years. I am also fairly certain that he, now around 30, neither has a decent job nor has any of his other shit together.

But man did I have a crush on him back then. He was exactly my type and a god in bed - the combination is super rare and my hormones soon got the better of me. He dumped and ghosted me as soon as I could not hide my feelings anymore and continued to pursue other, less obtainable women. It took me a full year to get over him. Once or twice a year I stalk him on social media (I left our city many years ago) and see that he has gotten chubby and his hairline is receding. He belongs to those unfortunate types whose whole attractiveness depended on youthful, androgyne features and his curly hair - its all gone. Sad. And since he never saw a reason put any effort to level up in other parts of his life, I doubt that any HVW sees him as a catch anymore.

Meanwhile here I am, still as fit and attractive as back then, advanced in my career and living in an awesome relationship with a 10/10 partner who is committed to be his best self and values me every day.

My ex husband was really abusive to me and expected me to be the sole bread winner and do all housework etc. He said he'd rather die than have kids and would leave me if my birth control failed and caused a pregnancy.

I kicked him out and started the divorce process in my late 20s. I gave him money to piss off to a motel/wherever and then he was on his own. He ended up moving in with a woman he didn't know, about 2 months after. He kept texting me begging to stay married and saying he'd never love anyone like me blahblah. The texts suddenly stopped which was a relief, but then he deliberately let my mum know that he got this random woman pregnant and is excited to be a father. Tf? Anyway the silly wonan had the baby and they are still together. He supports her financially. Super weird.

He was GORGEOUS when we dated, had a good job, amazing body, full head of hair. He also had no style(he actually went to work one time with a giant hole in his T-shirt), was an immature moron (thought that mint bubblegum did the same as brushing your teeth) and tried to change me into what he wanted in a girlfriend. Well 6 years after we broke up he is still as single as ever and as a bonus got so fat. He tried to get back together with me a couple of years ago, but I have happily moved on with someone so much better then him.

Ex FWB tried playing games and I dumped his ass. He is still in the same dead end job as before, still living in the apartment his parents bought him and still thinks reading books is pointless. I dated a guy for two and a half years and throughout the entire relationship I didn't have any major jealousy issues, but there was this one friend of his that I was very suspicious off. When we started going out I knew there was some romantic interest between them because an acquaintance of mine told me, but since they lived in different cities (about 5-6 hours away drive) nothing ever happened between them.

This one girl was the only reason we had fights, I'd see them constantly talking on Facebook and that shit pissed me off. He kept saying I was crazy and she was just a friend, said there was no way he'd ever see her like that because she went out with every guy in her town, that she was kinda slutty, etc etc. I'm not proud of it but I once snooped through his e-mail and actually found some weird messages they exchanged when we were already together. They had pet names for each other!! I thought it was a huge red flag but my dumb ass decided to overlook it.

Time passed and he realized his life wasn't working out the way he wanted. We were living together at the time and he decided to move back to his hometown, a small city that is neighbor to the place this girl lives at. We both couldn't handle LDR so he asked me if I wanted to break up. I said yes not because I actually wanted to, but because there wasn't much else I could do to make things work. Well not even two months later I find out through a mutual friend this motherfucker was already in a relationship with the same girl!! I was so mad back then I deleted and blocked him everywhere.

A year later some of our mutuals came to my birthday. He called me and was clearly a little bit drunk, told me he was sorry we didn't talk anymore and I was a really good gf to him. I was still super naive and a little bit in love with this a-hole, so I agreed to try and become friends again. Some time after this I met one of his acquaintances from another city and we started dating, my ex was furious when he found out and deleted me from social media. Mind you, he once told me he wouldn't mind if I ever dated someone he knew because it's my right to do so. When I messaged him to ask what's up he told me it's best if we didn't talk anymore, lol. And he was still dating that girl, so I have no idea why he got so upset.

A lot of time has passed by since then, last news I heard about him was that he and that girl got married and he was taking care of the family business. I have a friend who lives in the city the wife is originally from and he actually saw her kissing some other guy in the streets a few years ago. At the time he even sent me pictures, so I knew it was her. I have no more connections to my ex whatsover so I have no idea if he ever found out about the cheating, but serves him right for trying to gaslight me for nearly 3 years.

Yes, my ex LVM torpedoed spectacularly. After promising marriage and stringing me along for two years, I walked away. He then lost his job and his big dream of becoming an American citizen. He got DEPORTED.

I've been married for 2.5 years to the man I left him for - meanwhile he still lives with his mom, his instagram is half thirst traps and half pathetic, passive-aggressive whining in his stories about how no one in his life cares about him, and his "photography" is just posting pictures of his junk in porny subreddits (I made the mistake of checking if he was still on reddit - is he ever!). All my exes are single and going bald & ugly (even though they are all in their 20's). Most of them never found someone after me and if they did then it was a serious downgrade. My theory is that because i'm attractive and i used to be a pickmeisha (i did everything for them and never got anything in return) it gave their lvm ego a HUGE boost so they thought they could easily replace me. They never do ofcourse and because they saw me glow up (and lose my pickmeisha ways) they eventually always come back.

1 example was my first boyfriend i had when i was 17, he dumped me after taking my virginity (yup that fucked me up real good) after that i tried to win him back because i didn't know any better. It didn't work and one day i decided i desere better. 2 years later he contacted me multiple times crying and begging me to forgive him but i never did. He couldn't even explain why he dumped me in the first place lol. Anyways he got fat, ugly and is lonely spending his days playing videogames.

Ofcourse it's funny to see because they really hurt me in the past but at the time they comeback after ghosting and disrespecting me, i don't even care anymore because i know i deserve much better.

first long term relationship in high school lasted almost a year. i was friends with the guy first and then we became a couple. one day out of the blue he dumped me. still don't know why. i theorize its because his friends told him too (because LVM's are cowards who always put "bros before h*es" etc). a few years later he emailed "apologizing". he never gave a true accounting of why he was sorry or what he regretted. i was a pickme back then so i was curious and went to meet up with him to see what he would say. when i saw him again he just was NOT attractive at all to me. we hung out as friends for awhile but ultimately i decided not to date him again just because i was lonely. eventually he asked me out and i rejected him. he hasn't had a gf since. its been about 16 years since we graduated. pretty sure he never lost his virginity and has never had a long term relationship since. i was his first and only gf. he hit the wall before he even graduated too lol meanwhile i look better than ever.
