Men lie to women, women lie to themselves

To a lesser extent, to a greater extent, for a “good” or for a “bad” purpose we all lie. The key difference however between men’s lies and women’s lies is that when men lie, they usually lie to women and when women do it, they usually lie to themselves.

For instance, when a man cheats and lies to his gf/wife, he usually knows what’s going on and he knows deep down he’s at fault. When a woman cheats and lies to her bf/husband, she is usually trying to convince herself that she’s not the one at fault but that it’s the man’s fault. She will say she did it because she was neglected, she was mistreated or even straight out abused but the reality in most cases is that she can’t handle being at the one at fault. The main reason she’s lying is not to convince others, but to convince herself first and foremost.
