Nope. I fucking love to cook and I will for people I like sometimes. But if I catch any whiff of a man feeling entitled to the time, effort, money, and servitude that comes with me cooking for him, goodbye. Any suggestion of “You should cook for me sometime!” “I’ll have to try your cooking out”, “So you’re gonna make me dinner right?” even as a joke is a huge no. It’s so entitled and already sets up the dynamic of me doing things for him because I’m a woman. Then they can go back and claim it was a “””joke””” when I don’t like it.
