My dad never did this kind of shit, if anything he was the person who kept our household rolling, but me and my siblings tried sometimes when we didn’t feel like doing something.

My mom is the kind of person who has OCD and doesn’t get the fact that you maybe did it on purpose. She was forced to marry at 18 and doesn’t really have life experience when it comes to social relationships. And she’s really strict.

If we fcked something up she would stand next to us and let us repeat things time after time after time again until we got it right, sometimes even going as far as throwing things that didn’t live up to her standards away. This could be sloppy handwriting on envelopes, loading the dishwasher, you name it. She could do this legit for hours so we always caved.

She’s not dating after my father died, but still in her early 50’s and beautiful and sometimes I LOL imagining a scenario where she would date the average manchild and make him reload the dishwasher over and over again giving instructions when he thought he could get away with bumbling and dodging it. 🤣

Yesterday my partner came over and we made pizzas at home. I had a shower and he cleaned my kitchen without me even asking, I was only aware he did it because he came in and asked if I wanted my leftovers in my usual work lunch box or in a container for lefrovers.

It's terrifying how girls see this as just a joke to laugh off with that "boys will be boys" mentality and continue accepting the bare minimum or worse for their relationship. I don't care how "happy" she's brainwashed to think she is, she's married to an irresponsible wreckless little child. Making a joke of this further enables men to think it's acceptable to be lazy and not give a fuck and as girls, we just accept that behaviour as the way they're supposed to be and choose to "love them anyway!"

If this happened to me, before breaking up with him I’d have a little fun with him first.

I’d ask him if he’s been feeling okay mentally, if he’s been viewing lights randomly, and then tell him I’ve been researching geriatric doctors to see if he fits the protocol for early onset Alzheimers. Maybe fake some tears with the concern, call his family members and say you’re really worried and ask someone at his work if there’s mental health coverage with the company insurance.

You have to overly fake concern when you see this. They want you to be frustrated and/or angry. What you have to be is concerned. At night time, you couldn’t possibly sleep with him because you’re worried he won’t remember you in the morning. Be sure to tell him very slowly so that he understands. Ask him very gently for the keys to the car because he shouldn’t be driving.

Have fun trolling him back while you’re looking at other apartments or a divorce lawyer and then bounce.

What's annoying me is that the inner pot is actually very easy to just lift out of the cooker and put in the fridge - you technically don't even have to scoop anything if you don't want to.

And it's skew. Ugggh.
