Every vaccinated patient is given a wallet-sized card with the CDC’s logo on it. It has their name, birthday, the name of the vaccine maker (Moderna, J&J, etc), and the lot number of the vial.

He should be willing to send you a pic of the vaccine card, or upload it to his bio, and then maybe you could consider his claim legit.

But then again, there’s always photoshop, and men lie about literally everything to get laid...

It's kind of like them saying "I had a vasectomy, don't need a condom". Don't take anyone at their word when it comes to your health. Ask for proof. They give you a card when you're vaccinated.

Also unrelated but if a guy (even in a relationship) wants to go condom free with the "vasectomy" line...cut him loose. Yes, vasectomies prevent pregnancy but they don't prevent STI's.

I went on tinder for one night a few months ago NOT to date but to catch a suspected cheater for someone else. I was disgusted. I was looking in the age range 35-45

at least 1/4 men were married or in a relationship
men claiming to be vaccinated in like, early January with their job listed as software developer or some shit
the worst one: white men with BLM in their bio. What? Are you using BLM to get laid???

I did not catch the cheater because I did not last more than 15 mins on that app. I was disgusted. Dude was cheating tho we found out in other ways

The only reason I would believe this is if their job was in healthcare, first responder, essential worker, etc. Scribes, med students, city employees, many people I know who are young and healthy are fully vaccinated (such as myself) due to the contact with patients or the public

You’re right. A young man who was really high priority enough to be vaccinated wouldn’t be endangering his high risk self/family by going around a bunch of random strangers.

This is why I'm not even bothering to date while Covid is around. HVM are not going on apps, exposing themselves unnecessarily to strangers while only a certain proportion of the population have been vaccinated (in my State, it's people over 60). Men and dating will still be around in 6 months.

Also, the reports coming in on long covid are absolutely terrifying. NO man is worth your health. Some countries in Europe are going back into lockdown. Stay safe out there.

Yeah that’s definitely a lie unless if they’re saying they have underlying conditions or that they’re healthcare workers. I’ve seen this too and I roll my eyes. Being vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t spread Covid either ladies.

It's not like diseases die on skin contact with those who've been vaccinated for them or who had and recovered from a wild strain. They can still asymptomatically catch and transmit the disease in question to others, albeit for a much shorter period of time since, theoretically, their primed immune system will quickly knock the bug out. The absence of coughing, sneezing, etc., in asymptomatic people also reduces transmission. But the risk isn't zero.

Also some individuals don't mount the expected immune response to certain vaccines. It's not common but it happens. This is a new product using new technology and there haven't been any long term post-marketing studies so I think it's all a bit of a crap shoot.

My mother died of COVID. I take nothing for granted.

I wouldn't believe them even if they worked in healthcare. It's expected of them to be vaccinated anyway so broadcasting it screams 'I want ONS!'
