What do you propose?

Could go the route of TRP, make our own forums, even self-host to some degree (or don't host in the west). That works until providers decide "f this". Still suffers the same problem: big tech will successfully remove MRA from the big picture, severely reducing momentum. It is less likely to be scorched than being on Reddit, though.

Realistically, the only way to spread knowledge that big tech doesn't want public or harm their sales, is by spreading it anonymously and decentralized. The costs of tackling all these separate instances would start outweighing the benefits. Knowing what's up and compiling the information locally, to then infiltrate other circles and spread it that way, may be even better (it doesn't paint a target on circles, just individuals).

I am surprised no one has mentioned the Men's Rights Discord. A lot of people here in the past have presented that as a potential backup if this subreddit goes down.

Does the fact that I identify with the left mean I shouldn't be here? Will I get booed off of this sub since I voted biden? If yes to either then yes this sub would be at risk. I like to think we are a sub here that is focused on men's rights regardless of partisanship. I have always felt that the group at largest leaves a little right but there's nothing wrong with differing opinions as long as we are not pressure or pursuing violent rhetoric against the oppressors or oppressive systems.

Honestly, I'm shocked we, and related subreddits are still hear. For how long remains the case I don't know, but I suspect it's because the MRM has no major ties to MAGA who seem to be the main targets (I do not support the attacks on free speech by the woke as a left-wing MRM).

I wish there was qualify alternative media that was beyond big tech's reach. Maybe this will lead to the creation of said media.

I don't think men's rights stands a chance against the big tech Corporatocracy. It's gonna be on these more powerful people to fight the media and big tech and we'll have to use any wins they get for our own benefit.

It amazes me how so many people support the tyrannical behavior that is going on right now, how they can think politicians and big tech are some benevolent overlords and people struggling to avoid poverty are the evil that must be punished. I actually think the Gamma Bias explanation works to describe politics right now where the Right are men and the Left are woman. It's not even really about left and right but the media have sort of forced people into those camps as part of it's drive for power. You basically have to be on the right to be for men's rights because the left forces feminism down your throat. In reality Men's rights isn't a political movement.

Don’t think this will go down honestly. Outside of few really weird women hating comments and the occasional basement dwellerish comment this is all solid stuff, articles and discussion. Even when someone says something pretty bullshit they get a couple people calling them out and it’s amiable

I really don’t see them going after this and honestly we’d prob just start a new one. Keep politics out of it (outside of the average law I don’t see why we’d be fighting over political parties anyway) downvote and report the weird women hate and threats and we’ll be fine

what if we took it old school and went offline?

by that i mean start a mens group in our neighbor hoods and communities and only posted the dates and times online

im sure their are already groups like this but mabey we could do some kind of mass spread campaign to all manosphere members (i use that name loosely) and make it like an official thingy

this way our "forums", i guess you would call them would, would not only be decentralized but also way less subject to big tech censorship.

my only personal recommendation would be to keep women out of it even the honeybadgers
