Took one of those classes myself. Wasn’t in the best mental shape due to personal issues leading to depression. Straight up had a panic attack one class and had to walk out bc they were making out men to be inherent rapists and shit. I was already hating myself enough and that video and discussion just pushed me over the edge.

I Hope you’re doing better

This sub has helped tremendously!

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If men are inherent rapist's then women are inherent victims according to that logic.

[–]nyarlathotep999 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It only took a decade to go from "I am woman hear me roar" to "I am victim hear me whine."

[–]Khufu2589 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Cultural marxists always have been adept of the tshe Cult of Victimhood. They'll use either it or empowerment according to circumstances, and often both at the same time if necessary.

[–]BlueBlood75 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That really was gist of the whole class it seemed.

[–]Langland88 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Could I ask, how did the class react to your anxiety? Did the teacher just carry on afterwards and pretend that your anxiety wasn't valid? Or did this teacher use it as a means to make another point in the class?

[–]BlueBlood75 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I tried not to make make a big deal of it and “hold it together”. Most of the class probably thought I was leaving for the restroom. Those sitting close to me could probably tell I was sweating a lot. I came back when the class was over to get my things.

Went to the hospital shortly after that incident, so never really got to see how others reacted. To her credit, the teacher was supportive when I told her and gave me extra time to complete the final essay.

I remember she put a disclaimer in the syllabus saying the class would deal with uncomfortable topics. But that day just felt like they were out for blood.

It's more accurately called feminist propaganda. The biggest problem is that your tax dollars finance this dishonest and hateful indoctrination. Despite several books being published detailing the dishonesty of 'Gender Studies', it is overwhelmingly considered 'the truth' in academia. Thankfully most women reject this nonsense. Less than 20% of women in the USA describe themselves as feminists.

[+]drivingontheroad5 points 5 years ago [recovered] (26 children) | Copy Link

61% of U.S. women say ‘feminist’ describes them well

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/07/07/61-of-u-s-women-say-feminist-describes-them-well-many-see-feminism-as-empowering-polarizing/

[–]CanadianAsshole1 76 points77 points78 points 5 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

That includes both “somewhat well” and “very well” too. Bit misleading to leave that part out.

[–]iainmf 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link

Yeah. I would say 'feminist' describes MRAs ''somewhat well", in that MRAs want gender equality and believe most of the same things as liberal feminists.

[–]are_motherfucker 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

I wish feminists and MRAs would finally realize that they're supposed to be on the same side. Whats the point in two human rights groups if they both do nothing but spite each other.

[–]Khufu2589 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

Classic liberal feminists maybe, but I'm definitively on the same side than he neo-marxists ones, a.k.a. mainstream feminism.

[–]are_motherfucker 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Im not blaming this on feminists alone btw. I know that there are good and bad people in both groups. Feminists deeming this sub a hate community and this sub basically being r/anti-feminism are examples of the bad, but of course there are good people as well. Hell, you seem like a perfect example yourself.

[–]Starmind0 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Feminism has caused nothing but utter misandry and women-worshipping. You treating it like it had good intentions and giving it another chance is the reason why the original sexism from it grew to this point. Feminism is simply flawed and should never be accepted in human history. Feminism doesn't own women's rights. And personally, as an MRA and an egalitarian, I will never in my entire life once call myself a feminist no matter how feminism changes in the future.

[–]are_motherfucker 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

I get it dude, but thats not my point. I dont want to point fingers or know why everything's the way it is. I just wish it wasnt that way.

[–]Starmind0 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Well everyone here wishes that too. What we are isn't an opinion, nor is it something we do while laughing and patting each other's backs. It's a critical situation that caused numerous injustices against men, and we as real humans who care about men and their well being, are standing against it by standing against the misandry which is coming from feminism AND traditionalism.

[–]LegendaryEmu1 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

there are good and bad people in both groups.

The difference seems to be feminism does nothing about the bad elements, whereas MRAs do, theres some white supremacist guy who calls himself an MRA, outside of one time, he has never been even listened to.

A Big issue seems to be there are a hundred different branches of feminism, from ones advocating literal genocide to the woman you generally would just meet in every day life, who supports rights for women but doesn't actually do anything.

A huge, huge reason as to why the men's rights movement isn't taken seriously or is demonised is because feminists constantly misconstrue the basic premise, lump iit in with other groups(despite the mrm having a good chunk of women) and never, ever having a discussion with 'the other side'.

Now, the idea of feminism is good, however, modern feminism is almost universally bad, because its mostly focussed in the west, where dicrimination is already illegal in most contexts, where the right to vote has been obtained, etc But most of the organisations and whatnot that are part of it seem to only be interested in self perpetuation, not actually solving issues. They should seek to put themselves out of business by fixing the problems, but the problem only seems to increase as time goes on. In nearly any other occupation, that would get you defunded, at least after a while.

I've already said to a few feminists who disagree with me, but do see the problems in their movement, they need to reform, neo-feminism, if you will. Get rid of all the man hate, the hating of women who disagree, all the biased, bigoted crap and focus on real equality. The currently established feminists in charge, in political power though, they will not have that, theres no way.

[–]are_motherfucker 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

God, thats a long stretch of text. Anyways yeah, I pretty much agree with everything you said there, although I have once seen a comment saying that all women hate men get 50 upvotes, but thats probably pretty rare.

[–]LegendaryEmu1 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its not even 300 words.

I've also once had someone attack my mother for supposedly lying about getting nearly date raped(she managed just barely to get home before it took effect). The people who act like that are very rare indeed. For the most part, they are also downvoted to hell, and ofttimes banned.

I don't think I've seen a comment like that get that kind of support, as its far too hyperbolic.

[–]iainmf 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Feminists have all of the power to change this because they are much more of them in influential positions. If MRAs started to support feminists, nothing would change.

[–]are_motherfucker 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I know, i know, but the thing is, i dont care what it would take. I can't do anything about it either way. I can just wish.

[–]ZimbaZumba 36 points37 points38 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Sounds like a piece of dishonest research. Believing in equality for women and being feminist are not the same thing. Other studies differ:-

29% identify as feminist USA. https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/american-women-and-feminism

<20% Identify as feminist UK. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-47006912

[–]Jakeybaby125 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In that case they're either misandrists or uniformed

[–]KxNight 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That just makes dating for men 61% harder

[–]GalileosTele 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Recruitment to the feminist sisterhood is aggressive and effective on universities.

How college women are coerced into joining the sisterhood.

[–][deleted] 52 points53 points54 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Don't forget the mother of gender studies non-chaletly believed reducing the male population would solve women's issues.

[–]RockmanXX 40 points41 points42 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Ironically enough, a smaller population of men would be hostile&neglectful towards Women as they're are ones forced to compete for a reduced pool of Men.

Feminists are so fucking brain-dead that they don't even realise that male eugenics would only result in a World full of Warlords.

[–]KxNight 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If men had to do survival of the fittest. All the rapists and wife beaters and gym junkies would survive.

[–]Khufu2589 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They probably fantasize that they qould end up with an army of subservient Chad.

[–]escalopes 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

non-chaletly

Did you mean nonchalantly? (Doesn't make more sense to me, tho)

[–]MBV-09-C 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Probably meant unironically, which, funny enough, the spellchecker doesn't seem to consider a word.

[–]RoiderOrtiz 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

hahaha. that's hilarious. that would make things worse for them. it would just create a harem situation all around.

[–]ytismylife 100 points101 points102 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

My wife took one of these classes in University. She felt disgusted with how they portrayed men.

She summed it up as a series of lectures explaining why men are bad, then assignments in which you had to describe why men are bad.

[+]Aaod1 points 5 years ago* [recovered] (11 children) | Copy Link

I took a mandatory class like this and some of the lower class women hated how it portrayed men because they saw how hard their brothers and father had to work and the bullshit they had to deal with as a man, but the upper class women ate it up like it was high class caviar or something.

[–]ytismylife 30 points31 points32 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well, for what it's worth, my wife comes from a wealthy family.

I think it has to do with their relationship with their fathers. She's really close with her dad.

[+]Aaod1 points 5 years ago* [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

My personal theory was upper class women having a messed up relationship with their father because their dad was not as present growing up because he was busy working and instead he just bribed them with gifts, but that is just speculation on my part.

[–]Greg_W_Allan 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Feminism was always a middle and upper middle class movement. The suffragettes, as an example, were all extremely well off women.

[–]KxNight 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

its full of women who have nothing else to complain about

[–]MBV-09-C 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That would unfortunately make sense given that most women don't typically seek out high paying jobs, but most will still seek out relationships. Since men are pressured into working long and hard to support families, and this is a gender role that has never been subverted unlike the homemaker role for women, you now have an abundance of women not seeking out jobs and also not bothering with housework because they're told they're 'free' from that. Those women then typically have nothing left to actually offer in a relationship besides sex, which again, unfortunately, is still very marketable towards most men. That rush of power from knowing they can basically get whatever they want without trying ends up with them just using their bodies to scam men out of money, be it through marriage/divorce, child support, escort services, onlyfans, etc. no matter how it happens, it ends up with those women overvaluing themselves and seeing men as nothing but tools to get more money.

And I do emphasize that I don't mean all women with that assessment, the type of women I'm talking about are the schmucks on FDS and the like. those 'upper class' women most likely were gold diggers spawned from hypergamy or the result of being raised by those people, while the other women actually understood the value of hard work and didn't take the results of it for granted.

[+]ObjectiveInternal -9 points-8 points-7 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

That sounds like your own confirmation bias

[–]alc0 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Or maybe it is just that one persons experience?

[–]ObjectiveInternal -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The knew the social-economic status of every member of their class and how much they did or didn't buy into the bullshit? That sounds like the most plausible explanation.

[–]Yex00 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's pretty easy to see who the rich kids are. The poor/middle class kids don't come in with gucci bags.

[–]ObjectiveInternal -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for letting me know that I'm rich now since I must be since my wife made a stupid decision and bought a louis vuitton purse

[–]whatafoolishsquid[S] 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It may be anecdotal, but it fits with my experience. Only some rich enough to have no real problems could invent nonsense like mansplaining, patriarchy and manspreading. These are the pet theories of bored wealthy women who don't know the things affecting normal people.

[–]a_fricking_cunt 79 points80 points81 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I just hate when they use Marx to justify their idea Marx was an Economist and a philosopher not an icon of gender issue

[–]ItsDynaste 32 points33 points34 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And certainly not the best father either considering two of his daughter commited pact suicides with their husbands.

[–]destarolat 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"Economist". He was an ideologue.

[–]whatafoolishsquid[S] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He tried to be an economist. And was terrible at it. Billions of people have paid the price.

[–]zvon666 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A philosopher, yes. The philosophy of society and epistemiology has a lot to do with gender and society.

[–]-manatease 25 points26 points27 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

beginning in the 90s, the social sciences, especially gender studies departments, became less about research and objective understanding and more about political indoctrination.

Is this accurate? Christina Hoff Summers talks about a battle in academia between reality-based feminists and post-modern fantasists that seemed to be earlier than that. The ideologues won the battle of course.

The 1990s was when intersectionality came about, but I don't think the sect was particularly rigorous before that time.

[–]Khufu2589 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Radical feminism dates back at least from the early 60s

[–]whatafoolishsquid[S] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, that statement is based on the fact that social science departments became heavily politically homogenous beginning in the 90s. But yeah, the Marxist Feminist nonsense began in the 70s. I believe a couple of the scholars at the forefront are mentioned in the article.

[–]Nerfixion 21 points22 points23 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Is there a difference between women studies and gender studies?

[–]alc0 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No.

[–]Greg_W_Allan 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No. The name was changed to provide plausible deniability.

[–]KxNight 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Women studies learning outcomes:

  1. Why men are bad

  2. Why men are rapists

Should be called Anti-men studies

[–]Langland88 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the name was changed to make it sound less biased. I feel like whenever the term "gender" is ever used, it's almost always a synonym for women. Even though Gender itself if neutral to both men and women, it's almost always used to described women. It's one of those weird things you kind of pick up over time.

[–]Lezardvy 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Some time ago I saw someone explaining that every time you see gender in the name of something, it really means women or for women. The reason is they use it to disguise it as an equality thing

[–]heyyy-kiddo 29 points30 points31 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

When I saw in an EE article that some 'fucks' want to change the terminology used in I2C Bus and SPI busses and in general bus naming role from "master/slave" I had a mental cringe and stroke.

Like...the last frontier has fallen.A remote field of expertise where I suspected things to still go normally begun adopting this shit.

I thought engineers were supposed to be a bit more down to earth...I doubt those that proposed this actually work in the field....sad thing we will soon get assaulted by 'gender studies' 'people' and I'll have to be careful to how I name my sockets and won't be able to joke with my collegues anymore. Probably 99% will suffer from this ,like the real work force will suffer if you force them to bend backwards for useless ,woke stuff.

I have to take one and am dreading it as I'm finally getting over trauma with past bad relationships and dont want to be fed lies about men :(

[–]eugene_barjamel 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Gender Studies is biased because it's basically women who talks for women and men. When I was in a gender and queer studies courses, I feeled like I wasn't in my place because of the 50 students which agreed the female teacher. In addition, this class was just about history of feminism and intersectionality. Not about gender issues. Pretty ironic.

Ay I’ve taken classes where we address things under the perspective a lot of things including gender. Its all a power thing, and patriarchal society is undeniable. Im sure there’s those that use gender studies to go full on feminazi. However don’t let one fucking reddit post of one article discredit an entire school of thought. There are very valid and interesting perspectives. Everything from politics to education is about power, male and female relationship included. Like yall ever study confucianism. Same shit there too.

How so?

Human history begs to differ

[–]whatafoolishsquid[S] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

On the contrary. Throughout human history men have had some of the shittiest roles: cannon fodder, sacrificing themselves for women, all physical labor. Is that what a group does for a group is dominates and oppressed? Did slave traders always go down with the ship so the slaves could live?

The only argument for patriarchy is that men hold more government positions. That's bad historical interpretation for one, but I'm not going to get into that.

Men holding government positions is the phenomenon and we need a theory to explain it. Patriarchy doesn't work for what I already described. How about a theory that explains why men hold more government positions AND have shitty roles too? Like, the male gender role demands achievement and tells men they won't be valued unless they succeed, a pressure it doesn't give women. That would explain both things.

But then we couldn't blame men for stuff, so we'll stick with the flawed theory.

[–]RanchMe -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

Wow you’re uneducated. You think just because theres society roles that are bad that its not a patriarchy? You actually think that? You don’t care about culture, paterfamilias? Confucianism? Take a history class holy shit.

Girls do better than boys in education because girls have more discipline than boys.

Male criminals are not like female criminals. Female criminals are more likely to come from abusive homes, be drug addicts, or have children. These variables are taken into consideration by the judge. Male criminals are also deemed more a threat to the public than female criminals (because males are stronger)

Its hard for people who are close minded to see individuals instead of groups. Asian people usually have much more stable families where parents live for their children, work their hardest, and are much less likely to be divorced. As for black children, most of their fathers are missing from their lives and hence are worse off in nearly every field compared to their counterparts, including mental health, income later in life, etc. This is because father is important contrary to what what misandrists insist. It's because of culture and not race.

Yes it is

The definition of discrimination is: the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

So put a group of people together and say that one group does better then the other. Does it make it right to say everyone who is in the group bad. No becuase people are individuals. Most of them don't even have ADHD yet are put on behaviour altering drugs because idiots like you exist. Boys tend to be less mature than girls within the period when most studies are conducted (usually 13-15). Association of sports and games with poorer grade is there but is relatively insignificant as it doesn't effect intelligence at all(1) and stop generalizing. If an unfair and dishonest study is conducted just to generalise one group to be stupid, it is called discrimination.

[–]Rickyversache 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are aspects of the education system which have become discriminatory towards boys. Elimination of physical education in many schools doesn't allow boys to rid themselves of excess energy and prevents them from concentrating in class. Testosterone affects boy's greater need for physical exertion. Many education curriculums have additionally become biased towards favoring women and girls and their academic strengths. There are far more female only scholarships and society concentrates far more assistance for girls to succeed in school than boys. Men are failing out of universities at record levels yet all I seem to hear about is: "We need to get more women into STEM fields".

Many more boys are now raised by single mother's who often don't know how to properly raise young men. There has been study after study which proves lack of father figures and lack of discipline in the home creates circumstances where boys do worse in school and have behavioral and disciplinary issues which directly correlate to the break down of the traditional nuclear family. Couple these issues with TV and movie's typical portrayal of 'men are stupid' and 'women are smart' and you have a recipe for boys who don't try as hard and end up feeling stupid because of how they are represented in media. It is no mystery why boys are doing worse in school the last few decades.

[–]DanteLivra 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They are also more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD.

Why do you think they get diagnosed more with that ? Maybe it's because we teach boys to go around and roam freely while we teach girls from a young age to focus and act in a thoughtful way ?

boys have less discipline and invest their time playing sports or video games.

Do you think it's because we teach boys that they should do sports and vodeogames ? What about women who do sports or videogames are they undisciplined ?

You don't know just how much your social environment dictates your behaviors do you ?

[–]duhhhh 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its not discrimination when one group does better than another group on something.

When boys outperformed girls in the 60s, everyone knew it was because of discrimination. When performance was pretty equal in the 80s/90s, everybody knew girls and boys had equal potential. When girls outperformed boys in the 10s, everyone knew it was because girls are better than boys. Somehow that last one seems like victim blaming.

[–]DanteLivra 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

But why are they perceived like more of a threat ? What about non-violent crimes ?

Are girls getting better grades because they are more disciplined ? Or are they given better grades because they are perceived as more disciplined ?

That "discipline" comes from the social control we put on women, which is exactly what feminism is fighting against. Why is it normal when that discipline is advantageous to women but a horrible thing when it act as an obstacle ?

One thing is certain, that discipline is not inherent to women, it's learned.

Also there's a huge bias in the justice system, if you don't get convicted you won't be counted in the annual criminal stats (DUC here in canada). So judges will judge men harshly on the principle that they do more crimes, hence putting more male in the criminality record, it's a self fulfilling prophecy.

It's like saying that black people are more violent because they are convicted more often, that conclusion doesn't take into account any social factors that might go against it.

You say that female criminals comes from abusive homes, have toxicomanic tendencies etc.. and that's why they get referred to para-judicial systems (like therapy). But what makes you think it's not the exact same way for men ? The determining factor that dictates wether you will do a crime or not is not sex, it's how much you have to loose. Why would you enroll yourself in a gang (and doing all the crimes affiliated to that) if you already have a job ? Men don't go in gangs for fun, they do it to protect themselves. Women are less often being enrolled in gangs because the state is already (doing it's best to) protecting them.

Maybe women do less crimes because they have a better social net, than men ? They have easier access to shelter, education and therapy.

Tl dr : The fact is, criminality is a hidden variable, pretending we know everything about it is foolish, uneducated and plain discriminatory.

[+]drivingontheroad-2 points 5 years ago [recovered] (7 children) | Copy Link

Men are more perceived as a threat because they are more likely to have antisocial disorders(ex. psychopathy) and they also tend to be stronger. Men are also more likely to be part of organized crime (ex. gangs).

Blacks ARE more violent. The stats show that. Criminality is a mindset ( entitlement, risk taking, rule breaking)

[–]DanteLivra 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

Men are more perceived as a threat because they are more likely to have antisocial disorders(ex. psychopathy

But why ? What if the isolation we force on men is the source of that increased antisocial disorder ?

Also, antisocial disorder =/= psychopathy. Two distinct yet similar things. There are also a number of studies showing that borderline personality disorder (which is way more prevalent in women) would be some kind of female-oriented psychopathy. So your theory doesn't really hold up.

they also tend to be stronger.

So what about non-violent crimes ? (which consist of the majority of crimes by the way)

Men are also more likely to be part of organized crime

Like I said, if they had the social net women have, they might not choose to enroll in a gang.

Blacks ARE more violent. The stats show that. Criminality is a mindset ( entitlement, risk taking, rule breaking)

  1. That's racist, it's easily disproven by checking the number of violent crimes in black dominated countries.

  2. The statistics about criminality show and only show the crimes registered by the police that leads to conviction. The ones that doesn't lead to convictions are not taken into account.

Criminality is not a mindset, it's the sum of all crimes registered by the police in a given time/space.

What you are talking about is delinquency, which is a mindset that promotes risk-taking and anti-conformism. Delinquency is more prevalent in young people, more importantly it's as prevalent with boys and girls. It is delinquency that push people to do crimes, which is an infraction to criminal law, you didn't do your research it seems.

One hypothesis is that since we tend to put more young male delinquents in custody than girls, those boys learn the ropes and get better at being delinquent, while at the same time being unable to have an education.

I think you're a troll but I'll give you the benefits of the doubt if you admit that you don't know a whole lot about the subject.

"Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental disorder in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. It could also be that the police register more crimes when it's perpetrated by a black person.

Antisocial disorder is no the same thing as not being social.

Indeed, what I'm saying is that isolating men and antagonizing them might create a more fertile breeding ground for antisocial disorder ? Did you do any research on what cause antisocial disorder ? Environmental factors (abusive households) are way more impactful than biological ones (family member with antisocial disorder). They did that study by studying children who have been adopted by non mentally ill people.

ok but you are forgetting about the factors that affect men to commit crimes. maybe if the divorce system wasn’t so biased and we put more emphasis on fathers we would get somewhere. the data sure shows it.

Father Factor in Incarceration – Even after controlling for income, youths in father-absent households still had significantly higher odds of incarceration than those in mother-father families. Youths who never had a father in the household experienced the highest odds. A 2002 Department of Justice survey of 7,000 inmates revealed that 39% of jail inmates lived in mother-only households. Approximately 46% of jail inmates in 2002 had a previously incarcerated family member. One-fifth experienced a father in prison or jail.

Father Factor in Crime – A study of 109 juvenile offenders indicated that family structure significantly predicts delinquency. Adolescents, particularly boys, in single-parent families were at higher risk of status, property and person delinquencies. Moreover, students attending schools with a high proportion of children of single parents are also at risk. A study of 13,986 women in prison showed that more than half grew up without their father. 42% grew up in a single-mother household and 16% lived with neither parent.

I think it’s silly to complain that men are given harsher prison sentences than women. Men are physically stronger and prone to violence and more of a danger than women.

Likewise, I have no problem if women don’t ever dominate sports, enjoy 50/50 representation in executive and leadership positions, earn as much money per capita, or win as many Nobel prizes. It’s just not possible for women to compete here because men are physically stronger than women, and the top of the IQ curve is predominantly men.

The hypocrisy of feminists is accepting it as natural when women’s inherent traits give them a societal advantage, but make up bullshit theories and demand extra privilege when men are advantaged by their traits.

Women are constantly crying, Boo hoo, I’m not a millionaire CEO cause of the ‘patriarchy’ and toxic masculinity’.

more wrong: Girls earn significantly better grades than boys in the education system unlike what is found in scholastic achievement tests, according to a meta-analysis done by the University of New Brunswick.[13] Another study done by OECD confirmed this very fact: when the teacher does not know that the student is a boy, his grade is put at least ⅓ higher than it already is. You can frame boys behaviour negatively if you wish. They are active energetic creatures who wish to explore and challenge boundaries. Are you really interested in creating a population which is entirely compliant and conforming?

Civilisations die when the male energy diminishes. This time we've done it to ourselves by targeting successive generations of boys. They have grown up hearing virtually nothing but spite and venom targeting their sex largely on behalf of women and almost always from female mouths.

Lol give me an example of one legal advantage men have over women. Literally one.

Men can go topless in a bunch of places that women can't by law.

That discrimination is far more important than piddly little things like education, healthcare, employment, victim support services, reproductive rights, etc where women are legally advantaged over men. /s

Oh snap, nice one. That is an example. The other day I was trying to argue the feminist side with some MRAs who were trying to claim men are oppressed, which I find equally ridiculous. But one of them was like, Name a law that discriminates against women. And I couldn't think of one, but that's one.

Although here in Spain that's not the case at least. It's also illegal for men to go topless in town. I think it's equal under the law in a lot of US states, but not all.

Either way, you're right. That's a far cry from the blatantly discriminatory laws against men. Consider that here in Spain, self employed women get a tax discount men don't. It's fucking ridiculous.
